Wow! What a difference some time away makes! It makes me sad that I haven't had much time to come over to this side of town and enjoy some of this yummy food, but WOW, this restaurant has made some amazing upgrades! It is beautiful inside! I'm sure there are some before-and-after photos on here, because the transformation is incredible. Now, the restaurant finally matches the food and that's saying something because the food has always been great! I absolutely love it here! Whenever I'm able to make it to this side of town, I always come for their pozole. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you can truly tell they make their food with love. I visited today because we were in the area and were craving menudo. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away, which was a plus. The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Lindo Michoacán takes me right back to my grandmother's cooking. Everything is prepared fresh and cooked to order, so when the food arrives, it's always piping hot and full of flavor. The handmade corn tortillas are thick, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The service is consistently excellent, and watching all the dishes come out of the kitchen makes it hard not to want to order everything on the menu. The dining room is on the smaller side, so it can get pretty busy on weekends, but the atmosphere is lively with four large TVs showing sports. I come here for their chilaquiles chingones and they never disappoint! Highly recommend getting it with scrambled eggs and a side of their handmade tortillas. I usually have enough leftovers to take home and have for lunch the next day. Parking is a bit sparse, but there's residential spots available next door and within walking distance (as well as my favorite romance bookstore, Heartbound Bookshop). All their dishes are made to order, so please have some grace and be patient with their kitchen. As I always say, you can't rush perfection! read more

So I was craving some menudo and found this place.. The menudo was good and not smelly or greasy like some other places. The handmade tortillas were also good, that's a big plus in my book. My wife ordered two tacos which she said were also good, she ordered 1 carne asada and 1 chicken taco.. We went on a Sunday so expect a lil waiting. Just write your name on the list that's outside and wait to get called. I will come back soon, worth my 35 minute drive from Corona. We were so happy with the flavors of our food! This place was really busy at 10:30 Saturday morning. We were 3rd on a waiting list, but our party of 3 was seated within 5 mins. Everything I have tried here has been really really good. The food is super authentic and tasty. The service is always great and consistent. The food is always fresh, delicious, and the handmade tortillas are soft and amazing. My favorite is the menudo, and I love that they serve it seven days a week, which is hard to find. I also like that you can customize it with or without hominy or pata. The fresh chips and salsa are a great start to the meal, and my daughter loves the tacos de lengua. Adriana is an amazing waitress who always goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy with your meal. They have 4 tvs with various channels so there is plenty of entertainment. The food is GREAT. Tastes how my abuelas makes food for sure. Service here wasn't great and I hate to start a review like that. They asked me for my name for the waitlist and then they didn't write my name down. I noticed about an hour into my wait when i saw people who were being seated who had gotten there after me. When i asked about where i was on the waitlist, they couldn't find my name at all and instead of having me sat next i proceeded to wait over an hour. In total i waited over two hours for my food. Decided to try an overlooked item in the menu. I got the chicken soup and it was marvelous! The chips and salsa they bring as an appetizer are good too. What I liked about the soup were the garnishes onion, cilantro, lemons, rice and the chili sauce. The soup itself had a very good flavor the vegetables were nice and soft.
