Here's the thing about this crew -- and I mean every single person who showed up -- they were just genuinely friendly. Not "we want your money" friendly. Actually friendly. The kind where you don't mind them being at your house for weeks. And on top of being friendly, they actually knew what they were talking about. I asked a lot of questions. Probably too many. Nobody fumbled. Nobody gave me the blank stare. Nobody redirected me to someone else. Just straight, confident answers from people who clearly know their craft. That goes for the construction crew, the painters, and the membrane repair team. All of them. Damn consistent across the board. Now -- I'll be real with you. Their quote came in a little higher than some of the other estimates we were getting. And yeah, I side-eyed it a little at first. But here's the thing -- the other quotes were coming from general contractors. And with something like this, I didn't want a generalist. I wanted a team that actually specializes in this kind of work. And that's exactly what I got. So honestly, the higher quote made complete sense once I thought about it. You're not paying more for the same thing -- you're paying for people who actually know what the hell they're doing at a deeper level than your average contractor. And as the project grew from a partial repair into a full deck reconstruction -- which, by the way, nobody saw coming -- the cost didn't blow up the way you'd expect it to. It stayed fair. Very happy with all the work they did in the back of the house so we hired them to do additional work to the front of our house and replaced all wood with PVC product and all handrails and banisters with metal. They look absolutely gorgeous. I found their communication software very user friendly. Payment process was disclaimed at front based on milestones. Of course there's always glitches in the process and it wouldn't be fair to leave a review without mentioning them. 1- working to get architecture and engineering completed took a few months. 2- a significant surprising unsightly design change was not disclosed. There were additional costs to cover it up. 3- designer renderings showed all wood posts and joist in black paint but this was not included in the original cost, this was another significant cost increase. 4- all decks were to have lights on all railings, that was on the original contract. However, we were told later that the cost of an electrician was not included in our contract. This was yet another cost surprise. Overall, I am very pleased with everything as they addressed every single item that needed to be addressed and it looks beautiful. I will definitely hire them again, but just make sure to ask all posible questions no matter how silly to ensure that everything is included in that upfront quote and there are no surprises.

Welington and his crew did an excellent job! They patched all the missing grout in my kitchen and bathrooms, redid the silicone caulk on the shower door, replaced the rusted metal piece on the shower door railing, and swapped out the rusted screws inside the toilet tank to prevent leaks. They also replaced the rusty hinges on my bathroom door, which helped solve ongoing rust issues. I used Yelp to send a project to five companies that stated the nature of the problem and photos of the damage, and for those that responded within 24-hours, I asked specifically how they were going to repair the door frame. The cheapest quote stated that he would push in the damaged frame and glue it in place. Next . . . The most expensive quoted $150 an hour, plus materials. They stated that the entire door frame needed to be changed. Hmm. Maybe . . . The second lowest quote was by the Be James Team. They stated that their rate was $99 an hour (minimum two hours, but this project took longer), plus materials. Based on the photos they recommend a partial replacement of the door frame. They had a next-day opening in their schedule, and sent two technicians to the condo. The inspection revealed that this particular frame was problematic due to the construction and materials used, and replacement would be a two-day job. After a discussion with me stating that the time and cost of replacing the entire frame or even one side would be astronomical, they decided to replace a portion of the frame around the shattered door jam area, and then reinforce the side - a cheaper, but still a strong option. Six hours later, a single technician completed the job. The frame looks like new, complete with matching paint. The technician also cleaned the area of dust and debris. I am happy with the results. Thanks to technician Roland for his hard work.
