We would have spent a lot more time browsing through their plentiful collection if the air conditioning had been allowed to stay inside and cool the store instead of battling with the heat outside and losing! Fortunately the salesperson, after apologizing that they are required to keep the doors open, was very helpful and found us what we wanted quickly, so we could get out and go somewhere else that knows how to use an air conditioner. I guess someone in charge doesn't trust that potential customers are capable of using a door. What is the world coming to?

Fantastico inventory, Alina, reasonable prices, and Alina :) Every time I'm at The River, a quick stop at this store is a must for me. Whether it's to make a purchase or just browse. I have an extensive hat collection -- mostly baseball style caps. I prefer my hats low-profile and lightweight or DryFit. I've been eyeing a particular hat here, but it's very similar to one of my Boston Red Sox hats. It's so similar, I've refrained from buying it. But I keep thinking about that Rancho Mirage hat -- especially when I'm not in the mood to sport my Red Sox colors or a simple shape of red. And today was finally time to do the deed. Nearly every time I come home with a new hat, wifey joking says her greatest hits: "what do you need another hat for?" "don't you already have a hat like that?" "another hat?" "How much did you pay for that?" But not this time...and even tho it looks very much like that Red Sox hat, when she saw it, she understood why I couldn't help myself. (Btw I walked in the kitchen wearing the hat and she didn't even notice it was new until I kept laughing and saying over & over "I knew you wouldn't notice" until she realized it's a new addition to my collection? She takes pride in her outstanding customer service, with a beautiful smile that lights up the room and all the hats. After wearing it home, I soon realized the hat was too small, looked to size it as instructed and found out its impossible due to the hat band sewn inside that prevents stretching! I called the shop to come back and return it within 24 hrs. and the shop was closed for 4 days. When I finally got ahold of the store I was told no returns. NO WHERE ON MY RECEIPT DOES IT SAY NO RETURNS! Then the owner, Renee tries to tell me he can't take it back because of health concerns, it was worn? This is B.S. as stores from Saks to H&M and ALL hat stores on the internet accept hat returns anywhere from 7-30 days. I won't shop there again. Prices are crazy and store is only open 3-4 hrs a day, 3 days a week? Not great customer service. Not nice.

A beautiful selection of fun things. The decors, that's another wonderful thing. Not sure they're available for purchase but they're amazing.
