At the 8 week mark, I reached out by email and got no response. I reached out a second time via email and was told one sofa was at least two weeks late, the other would be an additional 8 weeks! I immediately replied and explained our predicament and got no response. After calling the customer service line, I received a call from the store rep who stated they never guarantee timelines, they just hope the furniture is in by 8-10 weeks and they are not informed of back orders on fabric. I was told a manager would call me and she hung up. Here we are - several days later, no phone call, no explanation.m and now we are stuck without furniture for a photo shoot and faced with having to reschedule agreed upon dates. It would have been nice if the rep would have followed up on our order rather than the customer chasing them down - maybe if they had we'd have known and been given a chance to rearrange our plans. This was our first and only purchase of custom furniture we'll make from Arhaus.

All of the molding and trim was done perfectly. I am very happy with the result. It did take about 90 days from intial contact to finish, but they tell you that right away. It is because good products and services are in high demand. The door was custom made for the space. You can go to the big box and buy an inferior product and then try to find someone to install. Yes, the cost was fairly high, but you get what you pay for. Actually, I don't know if it was high because I only asked one other company who then had no interest in returning my calls or answering questions. Renewal followed up and told me the truth all along the way. That is worth something.

Earlier this year, our gutters and front awning were damaged in a storm. I'm normally a DIY kind of person, but I've been suffering from a lack of mobility for the past year or so after a back injury, and found that I wasn't going to be able to get around to doing any kind of repair myself. We dreaded the cost, but bit the bullet and reached out to a few local contractors. These guys responded quick, came out quick for the initial assessment and quote, and gave us a reasonable price and timeframe for the work. A few other companies had comparable prices, several were much more expensive, but the professional communication from this team sold us. The job had to be rescheduled, at first, because of weather, and then again due to the unpredictable schedules that come with custom work, but they responded quickly to calls and e-mails, and kept us in the loop. Finally, the big day came, and during the course of setting up to work, they noticed some issues with our house's novel construction, especially with the way our roofers had not left much of an overhang with our drip edge and shingles. At first, we were worried this was going to turn into a much more expensive job, or that we'd have to start shopping around again, but were pleasantly surprised when the owner himself came out to take a look, with one of their more senior employees, who quickly identified a likely solution. Not only are they going forward with the job as soon as possible, but they're honoring their original quote despite the extra work and materials, partially to make up for the initial scheduling delays. A far better experience, so far, than being left in the dark by other companies we've worked with recently, and it's refreshing to have a company honor their own quote without sneaky fees, last-minute upselling, or bait-and-switch tactics even in the face of unforeseen complications. I'm impressed.

They charge a delivery fee though, like most furniture shops.
