On June 8th, I dropped my $100 off for my deposit and she said I was down and good to go! On August 16th, I reached out to her to see when/how I needed to get the other $200 to her. 3 days before the bridal shower, she realized she over booked and had 3 events that day. Cindy, only wanted to move my time of my event and not the other parties because she knew the other parties. Cindy was rude and disrespectful to me on the phone and text messages. After this happened, I found out that she does this frequently because all she is after is the money. Do NOT be like me and have to find another venue for 40 people 3 days before an event. Please avoid Cindy and her venue!!!!

They offer plenty of parking, outside in front and they have a garage as well. Elevators are available to enter the check in front desk and lounge or you can choose the stairs. The back door from the lobby opens right up to a bridge across the river and next to The Forum (a convention center / event space) and then next to the main downtown strip (Broad St) with plenty of things to do such as shops, bookstores, and restaurants. Hotel rooms were new, clean, comfortable. TV was a little small but mostly full cable selection, ability to watch YouTube, HBO and HBO MAX for free, login required for Netflix and Amazon prime video. Hotel offered parking for free, has a deck attached and outside parking as well. Cannot speak to the food options - did not order or eat anything at the hotel restaurant. Of note: parking in front goes into a lobby, stairs or elevator up to the next floor is required for the main lobby to check in. It was a bit confusing coming in figuring out where to go. Negatives: surrounding area is mostly construction sites for now, so the view out of the window was just a construction zone. I'm sure it would look much better after the construction is completed.

There are over 5000 acres of land for camping, etc. There did not appear to be any wildlife on the grounds, which is why they were able to hold a festival here, but I'm sure if you were to go deeper into the woods you will find some! The only reason I am not giving it a perfect five stars is because signage and parking option layout is almost impossible to navigate. It also gets super muddy after it rains and with the amount of walking you will do to get around the premises, that could become bothersome. It's truly in the middle of nowhere- only two gas stations, two hotels, and a waffle house within 15 miles or so.
