Love this little spot to hang out & watch the bay! Martinis are great, friendly staff, and sidewalk care ambiance. One of our new favorite hangouts when we visit the city.

An incredible selection of incredible martinis. Pick one of your favorite flavors and the chances are good you'll find it on the martini menu. Very dog friendly, as well as friendly servers and management.

Love this place if and easy to get a table during the shoulder season and daytime hours. If you come here during the holidays, then good luck to you delicious martinis and they leave the rest of the shaker with you so you're definitely getting your money's worth! Beautiful views of the river but is still nice and shaded. A little slow to get our check and when I finally stood up to ask about it, the server said "oh the one I just left on your table?" Pls sir I'm just trying to pay you don't be mean all good though bc I'll be back regardless!

One of my favorite spots in st augustine! Definitely would recommend going with a smaller group to avoid waiting too long as the line gets pretty long. So many martini options it's hard to pick so I just went with the classic. Each shaker gives you about 2-3 glasses.

My friends and I have been making this a staple every time we come for night of lights like many other people. This time we had to wait in a semi long line, but it's worth it because it's just a part of the tradition now and the martinis are yummy. I got a salted caramel one and it was so good. Our waiter was nice and the drinks came out fast. They always decorate so beautifully for Christmas!

I kept seeing reviews of this local bar on Instagram. They have a first floor seating and a second floor seating . This is for the Tini Martini Bar; where they have about 25 martinis to choose from and also some non-alcoholic options. My mom and I stopped here after visiting the city distillery off of the nearby street. We do have a server/bartender however I don't know his name. All the servers and bartenders are wearing black and black with black sneakers. The ambience is very chilled they have a first floor which is more in the sun with some fans and then they have a second floor that is covered by a roof. The ambience reminds me of a little mom and pop restaurant/bar they also have a bar inside. Today I got the Asian pear martini for $14.95 the ingredients of a martini or her vodka St. Germain and pineapple juice. 10/10 Highly recommend

A popular local martini bar located along the river that's super festive and really shines during the holiday season. If you sit on the outside porch, you get the good view of the river, bridge and the street. The martinis don't have the fancy presentations or top notch flavor profiles, but the value is hard to beat. They leave the shaker with you, so you effectively get two full drinks for the price of one. They also serve food. The bar is almost always busy, so expect a line during busy hours.

How cute this place was!! I sat on the outdoor covered front porch, with open windows and a view of the water. I did not get a chance to see the inside. There were small bites and plenty of drinks to choose from. I got an off menu caramel apple martini recommended by my server and it was delicious!! Definitely coming back when I can. I've been told by multiple people they get very busy especially on weekends and with larger groups, so keep that in mind.

I love coming here when I'm in St. Augustine. It's such a cute place to get the night started!! The martinis are roughly $15 a piece, which is fine because it's almost 2 in 1! I'm tiny but they always get me drunk for the night, I only ever need 1. The service rocks every time, and their waiting line moves fast despite how many people go here. I've had a few different drinks on the menu, and I've never been disappointed!

    Hannah R.

Worth the wait, loved this place (the atmosphere and the drinks). They give you the entire shaker of martini so you get a lot! We had a great time here.

Has always been on my list to visit while in St. Augustine. But every time I go the line is always so long. This year during Night of Lights I decided it was time to wait in the line. We just went for cocktails so I can't tell you about the food, but the drinks did not disappoint!! The ambiance was great especially with all the Christmas decor but the noise level was perfect for conversations. I can't remember the hostess's name and I wish I would have asked because she was SO friendly and welcoming.

Great drinks and a great vibe. I've been twice and have only sat at the bar, it feels like a speakeasy and I love it.

Collectively from the table we ordered a Kiss on the Lips, Creme Brulee, Cappucino martini, Salted Caramel, and an Espresso Martini. I was upset to see that there was no holiday menu this year. I was looking forward to that. Our server Will was not personable, and didnt give any recommendations. Im happy they were able to accomodate our party of 6, but waiting outside in line wasnot favorable. Outside of the place being cute, the drinks were just okay and it wasn't really worth it.

My wife and I have visited The Ice Plant several times over the years, and it remains one of our…read morefavorite dining destinations in St. Augustine. The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.

We dropped in late afternoon and grabbed a few seats at the indoor bar. The bar staff here works the entire bar I'm sure we were greeted by all of them during our visit and each provided exceptional service. The drinks here are very creative and all come with very generous pours, if you like rum this is a place you'll fall in love with after your first sip - we decided to just go down the drink menu and try as many as we could responsibly and immediately knew this would be a favorite when in the area. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite drink and it would be just as tough to pick a favorite off their small bite menu. We decided to try a few of the specials, it's a relatively simple menu but everything is filled with flavors that are incredible - the char-grilled oysters are plumb, fresh and unique in every way, the fried black grouper bites were crispy served with a delicious remoulade and a spicy jalapeño chimichurri that will light up your tastebuds, we also tried the jerk chicken thighs skewers and amazing crab empanadas filled with a curry concoction like no others. The portions are large enough to share and really balance out the cocktails, this was a really nice experience and one I plan to repeat in the near future, with all the options in St. Augustine this one is at the very top of the list in my opinion and with parking at a premium in the area they have plenty, definitely worth a try...

The renovations are a massive improvement over the previous bar, and the atmosphere is genuinely lovely. The Good: The food is generally solid. The fish dip and salads are nice, and I've had the smash burger a few times--it's amazing. The fish sandwich I ordered was very bad and I couldn't get a member of staff's attention so left it uneaten. The Bad: Unfortunately, my most recent visit was entirely derailed by the service. We sat at the bar and the experience was frustrating. The female bartender (dark hair, glasses) repeatedly interrupted me while I was trying to order, and then got my drink wrong. When I tried to correct it, she literally walked away. My friend tried to order for me, but three bartenders were huddled together chatting and completely ignoring the patrons. We spent a lot that night, and leaving a fish sandwich I didn't enjoy (and couldn't send back due to lack of service) just added to the disappointment. I sincerely hope management addresses the bar staff's lack of attentiveness, because if this continues, this cute place won't last. I'd be happy to speak with the manager directly about this, as we are locals who want to keep coming back.

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. The service was fantastic, the food was memorable, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to for many more dates!
