As a person who drinks non alcoholic drink options I was not pleased with the selection at the Tipsy Barrel. I didn't have the food, if I do eat here I would consider updating my review. It's possible I'll be a somewhat regular attendee here since my friend has been hired to host karaoke here on Saturday nights, go to Brian's Karaoke on Saturday nights if you're reading this. The bartender was nice, the people in the bar were pretty friendly, it is a nice little hang out spot. I saddled up to the bar and asked if they had any non alcoholic beers, they did not. They had no orange juice, they had no cranberry juice so there went my standards of cranberry juice and seltzer, or orange juice and seltzer. Eventually I asked for red bull, no energy drinks either. I had a diet coke and later on a Shirley temple with no cherries :( So I like it here but for those of us that abstain from alcohol for whatever reason, can we have more drink choices please! read more

I gave this restaurant 1 star only because it is dog-friendly. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night, yet it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our food. Even then, at the 45-minute mark, only about 40% of our order arrived. For a party of six, our order was not particularly complicated: two burritos, two taco meals, a chicken sandwich, and guacamole with chips. The remainder of the order did not arrive until the 1.5-hour mark. To make matters worse, my son's meal was incorrect when it finally came out, adding even more delay and frustration to an already lengthy wait. Throughout the wait, there were no drink refills, no updates on our order, and little attention from the staff. We also received no napkins or serving utensils with our food and had to ask for basic items that should have been provided from the start. The dining experience itself lacked any atmosphere. There was no music playing and no television on, which only made the long wait feel even longer and more uncomfortable. As for the food, it was lackluster and underwhelming. Tortilla chips and fries were burned. Bun for chicken sandwich was not warmed. The dishes were very basic, with little presentation or attention to detail, and they certainly did not justify the extended wait. What made the experience especially confusing was that this all happened while we were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night. A simple order, an empty dining room, no communication, no refills, an incorrect meal, and a 90-minute wait just didn't make sense. The only positive aspect was that the restaurant is dog-friendly. Perfect dinner spot with unique bar food and great drinks. We stopped by the Tipsy Barrel a while ago and we were very impressed with all the different food and cocktail offerings. Grab your friends and order a bunch of their appetizers to share. My favorites were the Birria Tacos, the Lobster Mac and the Korean Popcorn Chicken. The tacos were perfectly crispy and cheesy, the mac and cheese was cooked al dente, and the chicken had such a delicious gochujang sauce. Everything was incredible and the drinks were just as good! It was a good accidental find. The bar has its charm with inside and outside areas. Me and my husband were welcomed by a bartender who was also a server. We ordered drinks, and hubby ordered a beer that was not tasting right, so the bartender changed it with no issues. The food was decent. The highlight, for some reason, was French fries with different dipping sauces; those sauces were awesome. Better than I imagined...nice indoor space with actual barrels as tables along with a bunch of high tops as well. But the real draw for me to return would be the huge outdoor side area, that had some heaters. This area was not yet set up, but is a private area, green with astro turf and outdoor games. The front, has nice patio tables with umbrellas. Generous happy hour, decent menu, Lee liked his chicken sandwich and I had the nachos...which were excellent, but I regretted it later that night. Their happy hour usually is 3-7. But on Tuesday you get margaritas for 5$ all day. And the tacos are good. I loved the steak taco the most. They're so accommodating, even though it is quite a small restaurant. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, since the service was top notch. We ended up paying $82 per person open bar including the shots. 8-11 pm and 3-4 menu items. There were about 23 of us with enough food. There was a man with a young toddler playing at a table... another female bartender was getting her binder ready for her college exam (good luck). While we were at the bar, the bartender asked if we wanted Jamieson shots, sure! Later found out we were charged for them... so you ask us to do shots and then change us? Wild. It's that time of the year, no, it's not tax season, it's football season! What better way to deal with a long week than to watch gladiators battle for supremacy. And like all shows, the arena is everything. "The Tipsy Barrel" just became the pantheon of sports bars. The location isn't far from my brothers, so we arrived pretty quickly. The parking lot is small, but we found a spot quick enough. Outside the place looks small, but it's very deceiving. Coming inside this three year old establishment, you notice beautiful side wooden walls and a beautiful brick wall in the back. There are tall boy seats throughout and giant barrels to fit the theme. The hostess, who is the owner's daughter told us to find seating and quickly came over to serve us. She had a Wonderful, inviting personality as she took our drink order. We ordered wings as well, and she put it in. I couldn't believe how accommodating they were for us. They not only played the Giants game in the tv we wanted, they turned the sound up! My brother enjoyed the drink specials and took full advantage. But nothing compared to the wings. The wings were incredible! They were crunchy on the outside and juicy in the middle. They served them up with chunky blue cheese and it was delicious. I haven't had wings that good in awhile. Later on, while the game was playing she dropped the burgers. Now, almost nothing takes my attention from the tv when big blue is playing, but that burger, that burger did just that. They used plenty of toppings and cheese (did I mention I love cheese). I was all in on that burger. She must have known we liked it because I saw her drop a mic after we got quite to eat. This place became my new, Thursday night football spot. I was hanging out with some friends nearby and they picked this place for a late bite and drinks. From the outside this place doesn't look more than a dive bar but I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing their food is. I got to try the Cuban egg rolls, Philly cheese steak egg rolls and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces. I have to say the food was amazing. Everything I tried was just delicious. She just drops stuff off and never interacts... All of our drinks needed refills. Never during our entire meal did she stop by to see how things were going. All the food comes out hot and looks delish. The Korean popcorn chicken was decent but I feel could of had a bit more flavor to it when I got a piece with the ease seeds and scallions it really popped. I really liked the fries there was this flaky coating to them that was tasty. The burger was decent but nothing mind blowing. My friends burger she was highly disappointed that there was a dollop of burbling sauce on the burger. The night overall was nice the things I did nog love was that there were plant mats flying around from the potted plants that were not surviving too well. The check then we ask her to split it half cash half check. We surely have 2.54 more cents to our bill I ask for clarification and it's because there was a credit card tax. Which I don't care but somehow that charge was also applied to the cash portion and she gave my friend back 1and change less. This is my new local place . I come here at least once a week . The food is very good, so is the service and the ambiance. Now , during the summer we like sitting outside . Tipsy has quickly become one of my favorite bars. The first time we came here it wasn't too crowded and they changed the music on the jukebox to a playtlist and everyone had a great time. The second time we came was for my birthday and they did a stellar job at handling our group of 6. We were originally in an outdoor heated tent but were quickly moved inside. We had a few barrels to ourselves and full control of the jukebox. They even lit some candles on a birthday cake we had brought in. The staff here is incredibly friendly and the owners are kind and do their best to get to know everyone. They also just opened a side yard area for when the weather gets nice. Not many beers to choose from but their tipsy red is delicious. They also have a massive cocktail list and a decent food menu. This place really went downhill. The bartender was sitting on the bar, playing on her phone. The music was very loud and made it difficult to talk even though there were hardly any people there. It took almost 2 hours to get food, except for one of us that got it maybe an hour before everyone's else. I had to remind the waitress to get the food and it came out immediately at room temp. I was pleasantly surprised by the Tipsy Barrel's outdoor seating- it was nearly Instagram worthy! Plenty of seating, sun or shade, and a corn hole set. If you'd prefer to sit in side they have bar seating and general tables. The drinks were okay, but I was a bit disappointed by their cocktails. No happy hour specials on those so important to note! Their draft and bottle special are a good deal though. They have some bar food that looked good, but that will be a next time adventure for us. I'll be going back for the outdoor seating and general atmosphere, but if you're looking for a cocktail bar know this isn't the place I'd recommend for that specifically. read more

Just stopped here today for the first time after months of passing it and saying we should try it out. First, Dave (the owner) is a great guy, along with the whole crew. Dave, the bartender was also awesome and knows his drinks! A family owned and operated spot with a ton of reasons to come back! The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious.
