That pillar is spectacular and makes you so curious you can't help but go inside. It is a toy and trinket lovers dream! They have every tchotchke you could imagine for young and old(er). There are signs throughout the store to let you know the cost of the toys in the various coloured bins. Things ranged from $1 to $10 I believe. Extremely cost-friendly, especially for kids. We walked around and reminisced about our favourite childhood toys, most of which were in the store. I found exactly what I was looking for and then some with the help of the friendly staff. The shop had exclusive items for Tokidoki's 20th so I bought a tee from them as well. Regarding parking, usually you can rely on street parking or might be able to find a lot where you pay to park.

AUTOMATIC FIVE-STAR RATING! Okay, besides that, Now or Never is one of the few (if not only) comic book stores in Downtown San Diego. It's actually cleaner and more organized than the ones I frequent, but the relatively small size of the building means they don't have as much in stock as I'd like. Case in point, I wanted to show my appreciation for supporting SDCC by getting a couple of graphic novels of Trese and Usagi Yojimbo, but the ones I wanted weren't in stock. But, given how I was surprised to see a comic book store a few blocks away from the Convention Center, I can see myself probably checking it out again whenever I'm in the area.

There's J-pop and Anisong playing in the store, they hold community events, and there's a wide variety of Gunpla, Gunpla building accessories, other anime figs/goods, blind boxes, etc. Great place to grab a gift for an anime loving fan. I also have to commend the shop for having a really cool custom mural of a Gundam overlooking San Diego. That's how you know that there's some real local love. The only point of comparison that I have with Gunnzo is the older Anime Jungle in LT and that sometimes feels like a TSA line to get in. Great price point comparison. I'm sadly not a huge mecha person and the last fig kits I built were for FGO, but I would definitely stop by again!

This seems like such a fun (and appropriate) store for a shopping center like Seaport Village! My son thought the pirate themed items were great! There were clothes for adults and children alike. I thought the onesie that said "I smell trouble" was just too cute. They have pirate shirts and hats. The huge selection of guns was truly unique. There were lots of signs, plaques, and even wall art. There are items even hanging from the ceiling here. The nautical items are my favorite things to explore here. Brass bells, signs, and clocks are throughout the store. I really like lighthouses, and we found the cutest jewelry box and snow globe. We liked them so much that we ended up buying both. They had some nice compasses and clocks that would make nice gifts for anyone who likes nautical stuff. The service was good here too. The salesperson who rang up our items was both thoughtful and sweet. She made sure to ask if we found everything we were looking for and wrapped our items with such care.
