Very interesting store and huge! I had the impression it was smaller and once in I was like in a multi faceted toys paradise. There are many vintage as well as new toys, all you want. From really small items to larger. My favorite part is the huge collection of Barbies. What I missed was dolls from all over the world, not just American but I guess this is not as specialized. Replay Toys is magical! I actually found it because I saw it on the news after someone drove their truck through the front wall. I had been looking for a toy store and there it was on my Citizen app... It had just happened days before, but the nice ladies who run it had managed to get it back to operating order very quickly. They had candy, arcade, machines, old-fashioned toys, collectible figurines, and Barbies and many more items. It took me back to my childhood with a wonderful nostalgia. This sweet girl at the counter's name was Megan and she was smiley and nice and I appreciated that! I ended up spending quite a bit and having a whole lot of fun there with my daughter. What a great shop in a unique place that has all the toys they can think of had a range of prices. I just walked in for a little bit, but I wish I could stay longer. One of my favorite stores in San Diego. The owners make earrings out of little toys like dinosaurs and pokémon and hello kitty etc. Prices are very reasonable. They have so many small trinkets as well as games, gifts, barbie's, disney toys, star wars, littlest pet shop, my little pony, anime, etc. They have such a wide selection that I could easily spend an hour there. Good toys for kids as well as more vintage / old school toys that are reminiscent of many childhoods. So many fun finds. Also lots of stickers and patches and pins. When I walked in with my kids, no one greeted ANY of us. They were all busy talking. Walked around and passed by all the employees, not one stopped to greet us. They looked annoyed. Over priced for a lot of things that look beat up. Not much products to choose from. It's more like hand me downs and McDonalds toys. When I was ready to pay, the lady ignored me. Some guy turned around and had a sarcastic attitude when he rang me up. Not a good experience at all. Very disappointing. Customer service was horrible. read more

I think the prices are kinda ridiculous. a bunch of dolls without clothes with messy hair were $15...I can get a brand new one for almost the same price. there's some things where the prices make more sense (like doll accessories for 50 cents each) , but don't expect to find good deals here. they get all their prices from eBay/online which is usually overpriced. This used to be my favorite store and I still love the variety of toys and stuffed animals! However, they recently added Guitar Hero and a piano. Today when I visited, kids were playing both at the same time. It was very loud and there was music playing from the stereo at the same time. It felt very overwhelming and made it hard to enjoy the store. For customers sensitive to sound, lowering the volume or limiting to one source of music would make the store even more welcoming, like it used to be. read more

i've called twice to schedule for the lady to look at my toys and every time she states she's to busy and to call back. i waited from november until after the holidays as she told me aka january. then i try to book farther out and she says it's to far out to book. i said i'd call back in february then she states "i love littlest pet shops but i love my kids more"...what does that have to do with anything. i'm a mother and work as well. as a business owner you have to be able to do both and it seems this is not something she can do. i've wasted so much time waiting for this lady. she's not willing to work with your schedule only hers. do better. not to mention she also was in a hurry to get off the phone by saying "i have someone else on the line" and is in a rush to get off the phone. can't imagine the demand for toys is that high on a random monday in january. yikes. highly don't recommend wasting your time on a place like this. read more

Yes! I am an Expressive Arts educator who happens to work with all sorts of folks. Lots of people who are working to communicate, play and socialize with each other. I am a huge fan of this little shop- as I gather Sand tray figures, toys that can be artfully repurposed or swapped out for something more age appropriate. We were staying right by this toy shop, so we thought it was worth a visit, because well, why not! This is second hand toy shop, although it seems some items are new, and it's chockfull of all kinds of old school nostalgic toys (you know, form when things were better made, hah) and hard-to-find collectibles. It was a little overwhelming at first because let me tell you, that place was packed to the brim. Fortunately, it seems staff is very knowledge about their inventory and can direct you to where a particular items are, if you're interested. We didn't end up purchasing anything because of limited suitcase space, but there were so many wonderful reasonably priced goodies. I appreciate that this store offers previously loved toys that might have otherwise ended up neglected in general second hand/thrift stores or landfills. If I ever return to San Diego, and with my son in tow, I will absolutely make sure we stop by Replay so he can pick out some goodies for himself. read more

This store is amazing!!! Such a great concept, I wish there was one closer to me in Los Angeles. Walking into this store is like a slap in the face from nostalgia - there are so many fun toys from different eras. My son had a great time filling up his new-used Paw Patrol lunch box here with a variety of little toys (Bubble-Guppies, Firemen, Paw Patrol, cars and trucks). Everything about this place is truly wonderful!! From the friendly (and oh my gosh so patient) staff, to the way everything is organized, to the toys themselves... being here is just so FUN. Every corner of the space is filled with colorful, adorable, clean toys of all different kinds. If I were about 15-20 years younger, I would never want to leave. I came in with my mom, who I love dearly but is an extremely challenging customer. The staff was so incredibly accommodating and patient, bringing items from the back, finding different little things for her, and answering every question. This store is clearly run by very kind people. Personally, I think the prices are completely reasonable. You can leave this place with a great haul without spending more than $20, easily. It's not ebay or a flea market, so you're not going to find a great deal on a rare collector's item here. The owners and staff are toy experts, and they know what they have. my nieces absolutely love REPLAY TOYS! Every time my nieces come into town they want to go to Replay Toys! I love the concept! You can sell your gently used toys and get store credit or you can purchase used toys at a lower price! This works out perfectly for my nieces! They love LPL ( littlest pet shop) and for anyone who buys LPL knows these little toys add up quickly. Each toy is marked with a color so depending on the color on the toy is however much it costs. I found a Gund teddy bear in the clearance section for $1.00. Growing up I had 2 of them and gave them away. I wish I kept my bears but I found one exactly like the one I had growing up!
