    Inside!

When you're talking about a card shop, I feel like there are a few areas to look at: service, selection, and overall vibe. Period. Trading Card Club is a relatively small location but comes in big when it comes to those three categories. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and I never once got the sense I was being taken advantage of or was just another customer. They treat my son very well and seem to treat all their young clientele very friendly, which is obviously a key thing that brought us back. You should note that if the shop gets busy, there's limited staff--trading card shops can't have 20 people working the counters--so you may have to be patient. If patience isn't your game, trading cards might not be the right place for you to be anyway, but always enjoy the friendly attitudes and vibes this shop gives off. Whether you're hanging around, opening a box, or just browsing, it's always a chill experience. They also run events and promotions, so keep an eye out for that. And I would note: do your due diligence before bringing in things to sell, because they're not going to buy a giant box of worthless baseball cards, nor are they going to want to comb through 2,000 of your old grandfather's card collection. They will buy solid, valuable assets that they can resell effectively. It is a shop that will obviously give you store credit if desired, which will likely exceed the amount of cash you'll get, but the amount of times I've seen people bring in stuff that they just would never buy in a million years is plentiful. So if you're looking to sell a junk box of cards, I would try Facebook Marketplace and not this shop. Also--side bonus--they have a shop puppy that sometimes hangs out in the front.

This is one of our go to location for trading cards and sports collectibles. I was super excited to see this Webanyama jersey. So I scooped it up. All of their items are authenticated and I feel like I always get a great value when I purchase from them. John, one of the owners is super friendly and very helpful. We brought some of our older cards in and he looked through them and told us which ones we should have evaluated for grading. He also recommended someone that does a great job prepping cards and evaluating them to see if they should be sent to get graded. I love looking at my husband's old cards and sharing the excitement of the treasures we find. Thank you, John and your team for always welcoming and great experience.

If you're in east valley and like sports cards, you really need to visit this shop. I took my kids a few weeks ago and looked around the store a bit. They had fun playing corn hole while I looked around. I will say this, I have visited roughly two dozen sports card shops all over the western United States and this is by far the cleanest. They take the appearance of the shop very seriously. No clutter, no mess, nothing to distract from what they are selling. That may sound like a strange thing to mention, but if you've ever been to a few sports card shops you'll appreciate me highlighting that. The staff was friendly but gave me space to look around to see what they had to offer. They had a good mix of offerings, both retail and hobby products. I will definitely be back.

Some awesome pulls from their mystery packs!

I saw a post on Facebook about their grand opening and I'm always a sucker for new small businesses openings in Gilbert. Literally makes me so excited... so I was looking forward to grand opening weekend! Location: it's tucked inside the outdoor shops on Gilbert Road and Juniper just north of downtown Gilbert. The parking can kinda be a pain so just be prepared in case they're busy to park in the parking under the building. THE TOY Selection: So many toys to choose from! These are not name brand that I can see but I didn't mind. Reminded me of shopping at Five Below but more variety and assortment. Lots and lots of stocking stuffers just in time for Christmas. He is pretty savvy with trendy toys so if you've seen something trending on TikTok he might have it. And if not ask him if they will ever be on order. My 9 year old son was ecstatic with all of the toys, fidgets, and even the remote cars. I love that they have opened toys out for kids (or adults) to test out. Customer Service: The customer service was great! My son can be a little obnoxious and he was so patient with him. I even asked if they had a particular trending toy and he stated they were going to get it in order. So looking forward to coming back for that! He was helpful with all of my questions and gave any insight he could on any of the toys. Value: I could order most of all of this stuff on Amazon BUT purchasing it in person sometimes even CHEAPER than Amazon while supporting a local business wins me every time. Most toys were under $10 but the toys my son was most interested in were less than $5. Looking forward to seeing this local business grow! Check it out you won't be disappointed! HOURS: They are closed Monday & Tuesday. Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11-7 Saturday 8-7 Sunday 8-5

They buy and sell boxes, packs, and individual cards as well. The staff has always been friendly, and as someone whose 11-year-old son is getting into Pokémon cards, I really appreciate how kindly they treat him, even though he's just a kid. That doesn't go unnoticed. This store isn't just for kids, though. There are plenty of adults who come to play games and hang out, which makes for a cool community vibe. One nice feature is a computer system in the back where you can look up their card inventory. The interior isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but it serves its purpose well, and the staff makes it a good experience. I'm glad places like this exist--where people can gather, play, and just enjoy themselves. One funny thing: for the longest time, I had no idea what the store was because it's called "Amazing Discoveries," and I wasn't exactly sure what amazing discoveries were happening inside. But once I figured out what it was, I've been back several times--and I know I'll be going even more often with my son.
