Once again The Tree Guy crew came to trim the huge Canary Island Pines in my front yard. They did an amazing job in a short period of time. Neighbors and workers on a nearby house were complimenting the trees. I'm happy that they did such a nice cleaning after it was all done. One worker noticed a tile on the roof was broken ( which I don't think they broke ) and I was lucky to have a spare tile which he replaced. "The Tree GuY" removed a tree from my yard that was basically a "weed" sprouting itself in bushels everywhere in my yard. No matter how much I tried to kill the new sprouts, they spread like wildfire. This tree would have taken over my whole yard eventually. The tree guy came out for a consult within 48 hours after I called and gave me such a great quote I didn't bother getting a second because I knew off the bat the cost was so good I would never find anyone to do it cheaper!! They came out less than a week later and removed the tree/stump within a couple hours and left my yard impeccably clean! It's been over 6 months and I haven't seen any regrowth which was my biggest concern!! Hands down if you need tree removal or maintenance services go with this company!!! It's so tough to rate reviews from random people. After reading many reviews, I chose this tree trimmer. Jonathon was prompt for the initial appointment, his quote was fair, and he described exactly what would be done. The staff showed up on time, Jonathon gave them direction, and immediately began working. I had 3 neglected queen palms that needed the dead fronds cut and the older cut fronds shucked from the trunk. I also had a runaway ficus tree that was encroaching on both my roof and the neighbors. The palms are now all cleaned up and the ficus looks like it had a bout with Edward Scissorhands. They are all absolutely perfect! The work was done with no damage to the succulent garden below the palms and the clean up was stellar! When I paid for the work, I told Jonathon that I will be calling him next year for a tune up. Jon and his crew were AWESOME! I was referred by our realtors as he was their guy. Jon came out provided a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule his team to come out the following week. We had three very invasive plants that grew some serious roots and stumps that were beyond our abilities. His guys showed up on time and erased those plants from the face of the earth. I did not actually have The Tree Guy come out to do any work but I talked to John. We played phone tag a little but he promptly returned my calls. I asked him to come out and evaluate some trees and possibly trim them. From my request he said that he would be happy to come out but he may not be the best person to answer my questions. He gave me a referral to another company that may be more suited to help me. It is rare to have that type of honesty. He could have easily came out, made some money, and been on his way. We had the most challenging job, a Santa Susana Knolls, rocky, slippery, steep hillside lot, loaded in poison oak, accessed only by a winding narrow rutted dirt road, no turn about for a truck, more suitable for an ATV. Jonathan's driver managed to back one of their smaller trucks up a half mile of narrow track, more winding deer path than road to access the hillside property site. Because Jonathan had options in truck size and an expert driver, thousands of dollars were saved by eliminating extra labor, loading, hauling costs. Was very pleased with the work Jonathan's team performed. They (Duane, Merced and Margarito) removed a tree and thinned a few others that had entangled the power/communication lines. Additionally, they thinned some oaks which were growing above the house.
