It's been my go to lately when in Tulsa. Went again. I had the Pad Thai again. It never disappoints. The service was good and atmosphere was quiet and pleasant.

We go to The Tropical when we are having a late dinner. They close at 10pm which is later than most Thai restaurants. The prices are a little higher and we usually get our own dish instead of sharing when we are there. I like the tom kha and their fried fish (around $25). The ka prow today was really salty. I am not sure if it was because I asked for 4 in terms of spice. It wasn't really spicy.

Yum! I'm so glad we finally tried The Tropical. Most of us ordered the pad Thai, and it was really tasty. We ordered a lunch portion, and it was still a good amount. One of my kids ordered the chicken wings off the kids' menu, and he said they were tasty. Service was very fast and attentive. It's very clean inside. We will certainly come back.

The food was incredible and the service was great. It wasn't too crowded. My husband and I got a mai tai and it was perfect.

Wonderful food! Can't believe I've lived here a year without finding this place. I will admit the calamari was tough and had no tentacles which I prefer. Everything else was FANTASTIC! Just look at the photos for the variety my family ate... yet there were so many other dishes we wanted to try! We'll have to become regulars just to get through the menu.

Having been scarred by The Tropical on the first visit, I've decided to come back to give this establishment a second chance, and I am so glad I did. The Tropical is an excellent Thai restaurant as long as you avoid the Spaghetti Kee Mao. It might even get a 5 stars if I could completely erase the memory of the initial visit. The Tropical has excellent pad thai. Pad Thai is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as street food in Thailand. It is typically made with rice noodles, shrimp, peanuts, scrambled eggs, and bean sprouts. I love the flavorful sauce in the pad thai at The Tropical. It truly is wonderful. Tom kha or Thai coconut soup is a spicy and sour soup of coconut milk, galangal, kaffir, lime leaves, lemongrass, Thai chili, mushrooms, chicken, fish sauce, and lime juice. At The Tropical, I particularly love the inclusion of tomatoes in the soup to give it a richer taste than the traditional soup. It tastes like a creamy version of hot and sour soup with different ingredients. It's good at The Tropical, just not my cup of tea. It's a shame that I can't get over the injury of the initial visit. The pain is gone but the scar is there, maybe next time.

Had a great weeknight dinner here. Staff were very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was nearly empty around 7pm but it was great to have a quiet place to eat and talk. The food was really good. I got chicken pad Thai and I can say that I would get it again. The corn cakes were also a really good starter.

I would like to call myself a Tom kha soup connoisseur at this point and The Tropical has HANDS DOWN, the BEST Tom Kha soup in Tulsa. It is creamy, flavorful, and delicious. We also got the Kaprao fried rice, which I didn't love. The rice was dry. But it's also hard to follow up a dish as amazing as the Tom kha soup. Just please go and try it!!

Never tried this before. I like curry, just don't want it to be overwhelming. This place hit the spot. Tried this dish with added chicken. It was good overall perhaps a little bit too much broth. Needed more substance. But the flavor was good. The waitress did ask how hot I wanted it and I chose four out of five. Glad I didn't choose number five. it was a little spicy. But overall a good dinner.

How's the bar quality? Good pours?

I like their mojitos! That's all I've had other than wine there.

It definitely is not that, as we found out! It's actually very tasty and fresh inspired Korean food restaurant. I recommend downloading their app and ordering in the app to get your rewards and points. You can order ahead to go but still eat it at the restaurant. The service has always been very quick and friendly here. They can get a long line around lunch time, but it goes quick and the food comes out hot and fresh within minutes. My go to dish here is the Half and half bowl with half chicken, half bulgolgi steak with rice and fresh steamed veggies. You can also add green onions for free and avocado is an upcharge, but certainly worth it if you are trying to get your healthy fats or just love avocado like me. You also get a choice of 3 sauces. They can all be the same or different. My favorite is the magic sauce, which is like a sweet teriyaki style sauce. I usually get two of those and one of the hotter sauces to add to my bowl before I devour it. Going into the new year a lot of folks might be looking for healthier options, and this one of those options that ticks that box but also delicious, affordable and quick.

I appreciate that there is a tofu option and that it's overall pretty healthy. They have bowls, mini bowls, and plates with steak, chicken, and tofu as protein options. Base options are rice, veggies, salad, or a mix of rice and veggies. Gotta get the magic sauce. Dining room is always clean and the staff is friendly. Quick to-go orders, always fresh and hot! I wish they had one closer to my house, but at least I can grab it after work to take home for dinner.

Since it was my first time being able to get a daiquiri I took the chance and got a mango daiquiri. It had me spinning after a few sips but it was a perfect match with the food. The server was so polite and offered great alternatives if you wandered about mixing and matching menu items. My food ended up taking a while so they gave me an extra piece of fish and let's just say that I was certainly pleased with that gesture. I didn't eat it all In one setting, so I was able to take some home and actually have lunch the next day. The place was such a relaxed space and easy spot to consume your food. The shrimp were tender and well seasoned, though not quite what I would consider jumbo. The snow crab legs werenot as plentiful as I'd prefer based on the description, but the texture was right where it needed to be. They broke cleanly and pulled easily, which made them enjoyable to eat. The eggs were actually one of my favorite parts. They held the seasoning really well and added an extra layer of flavor to the meal. I placed a pickup order, and the experience inside was just as pleasant. The space was clean, and the woman at the front was genuinely friendly. We had a quick conversation about the menu while I waited, which made the visit feel more personal. Overall, I would come back for the flavor, even if I am hoping for slightly more generous portions next time.
