I enjoyed a nice morning here at the spa. I was given a certificate for a 60-minute Intentions Massage and used it on a Saturday morning. Booking the appointment was very easy. And the reception was very nice and welcoming. I arrived before my massage so I could enjoy the sauna beforehand and the hotel pool after. I did enjoy the steam sauna a lot. They have different types of waters and snacks such as dried fruit and green apples. They have pretty much any type of toiletries you could need. My only complaint here is that I thought the whole locker room/spa area was a bit loud. I went to relax and disconnect but there was a woman having a loud phone call and others being having loud conversations (I assume some must have been bridal parties). Also, they assigned all the lockers close together and mine was next to where they keep the sandals so I always felt like I was in someone's way or someone was in my way. Now to my massage: you wait in a room and your massage therapist picks you up and takes you to the massage room in an elevator. I'm normally more of a deep tissue massage kind of person but this was a lighter massage. Very relaxing tho. I almost fell asleep. Afterward, it unfortunately started to rain so I didn't make it to the hotel pool. Spa guests are allowed to use the pool throughout the day; however, it isn't right next to it so they will call you a golf cart shuttle. read more

Excellent service!!! I was given a spa package for a birthday gift. It was raining on my day off so I decided to see if I could make an appointment. They were able to schedule me for 2:00 pm for the Citrus Drench. It's a body scrub with a moisture wrap. You can add a massage on for a small fee. The spa day includes sauna, steam room, sensory shower, and jacuzzi. I enjoyed the steam room and the sensory shower the most. The lounge area was so serene that I could have stayed there all day. The locker room can be a bit tight to maneuver but it is impeccably clean. The sandals sure bland. Navy or cream would match the spa better. The robe was cozy but way too big and too heavy for my petite frame. Next time I will bring a short robe of my own and my own sandals. read more

I went to this spa for Miami spa month expecting to have a wonderful experience based on the description and experience. My masseuse was Carlos and I'll just sum it up by saying it was by far the worst massage I've ever had. Felt like someone was just rubbing lotion or oil on me with no pressure or care the entire 50 minutes. Amenities are nice but avoid him if you're going for a pleasant massage experience. I will make my review direct and to-the-point to answer as many questions as possible. - The spa is very nice and offers a sauna, steam room, sensory shower, jacuzzi, and cold dip next to the jacuzzi. - The wellness pavilion also boasts a full gym, outdoor lap pool, and indoor pool- which I thought was a wonderful option in case it's cold or inclement weather. - They also give access to the resort pool which is two pools with a water slide! How fun!! - Ask the front desk to call the shuttle for a quick ride to the resort pool, which was fun cause it gives you a chance to tour the property some :) - The spa provides some light snacks and water, and will also give you hot tea if you ask. I enjoyed a lovely hot chamomile tea which was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the amenities :) - The massage room was very serene and nice. The massage table was wider than the usual, which I liked, and the place to put your face was comfortable. - The massage was ok. I had the 60 minute deep tissue. While it felt good, I specifically mentioned my chronic lower back pain and tense shoulders and neck, but it just felt like deep pressure all over and not like she was targeting knots and not any special moves to address lower back pain. I just felt it lacked any sort of real expertise for specific conditions or pain. - The spa also provides all necessary toiletries. No need to pack anything. They definitely have you covered. - Parking is right in front of the wellness pavilion and make sure to take your ticket so the spa can validate it for you. Cracked tiles at sauna. Stained chairs at the service waiting room, pretty much every sofa or couch. Walls that appear to be blown up from humidity, expected in an area that's near a steam room but shouldn't be left unattended in such a "luxurious" place. Jacuzzi area is nice but the jacuzzi tiles themselves look mildewy. Very good amenities in the woman's bathroom, shower gels, shampoo, body lotion. Even blow dryers and brushes. Except the brushes seem to have never been cleaned. Overall the service was OK, but it seems they don't have budgeting to take care of the building area. read more

I absolutely love this place, I have been here multiple times. It's worth the money. You can spend all day here by the pools as you please. They do have food and drink service by the outdoor pool. Indoor pool is warm and quiet there not many people there and they will ask you to leave if they have an aquatic class. During your booking process online you can add extra add ons, I recommend the head massage super calming. The massage bed is heated and the room is set to the right atmosphere, lights dimmed, meditation music in the back, and you get to choose what type of oil you would like to be massaged with. You are given a robe and sandals, you can take the sandals home. They also have showers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also provide disposable hair brushes, razors, makeup remover wipes, and feminine hygiene products. After your massage you can head to the jacuzzi and order some champagne. You can literally stay here all day it's worth it. I celebrated my birthday here with all my girl-friends and they enjoyed it too. read more

The Spa at Doral is great and I hope Donald Trump makes it even better. Donald and Ivanka acquired Doral Golf Resort and Spa in early 2012 and have rebranded it Trump National Doral. The Blue Monster and Red golf courses and the Doral hotel, clubhouse, and restaurants are currently undergoing renovation. The Blue Monster and clubhouse are slated for re-opening winter 2013-14. I haven't heard anything about the Trumps' plans for the spa and Pritikin Longevity Center, if anything. The Spa at Doral is huge at nearly 50,000 square feet in total area. It's luxurious and serene, featuring a modern workout facility, spacious lounge and relaxation areas, a health restaurant, gift shop, multiple pools (indoors and out), hot tubs, waterfalls, and separate spas for males and females. I've been an annual visitor to the Spa since 2010. It hasn't changed, for the most part, since that time. The features/services I like to use include: Main outdoor pool and hot tub Hot and cold waterfalls Men's spa - Lounge - Hot tub - Cold dunk - Steam room - Dry sauna - Sensory shower - Showers/restrooms The main outdoor pool area is beautiful with fountains, waterfalls, a multi-tiered stream, a pond, palm trees, colorful flowers, and well-manicured landscaping. It's fun to switch back and forth between the hot and cold waterfalls. The hot waterfall is almost like a hot tub. It feels good to sit underneath the waterfalls and let the water hit your neck and upper back. There's a bar serving snacks and refreshments and dispensers filled with complimentary fruit-flavored water. Umbrellas over the folding beach recliners keep the sunlight from hitting your skin. The men's spa is calm and tranquil. It's small, intimate, and really allows you to unwind and loosen up. It's peaceful inside and time really flies by. If you plan to visit, make sure you set aside plenty of time. Sandals and a locker key are given to you upon entry. There's a snack and refreshment bar with fruit, tea, and water. In the past, there has been an assortment of fruits and teas, but the selection isn't as good these days. There's a lobby/waiting area with magazines. Each locker has a big and fluffy robe you can use inside the spa. There are towels aplenty. The hot tub and cold dunk are surrounded by candles and mosaic-tiled walls. The steam room and dry sauna are rejuvenating. Bring extra towels with you into the dry sauna so you can create makeshift cushions/pillows to lie on. After using the hot tub, steam room, or dry sauna for an extended period of time, briefly go into the cold dunk to close your pores and cool down your body. It feels good. Be sure to drink lots of water and stay hydrated while using the spa. There's a sensory shower with six different settings. Water will blast you from every which angle and music plays to set the mood. The standard showers are nice as well. Each of the showers has liquid body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The sinks are equipped with basic amenities such as mouthwash, lotion, shaving cream, and razors. There are cotton swabs, a hair dryer, and scales to check your weight. One of the scales can also measure different statistics such as your body mass index (BMI). I like to shower and use the spa after playing golf. It cleans me up and is refreshing. All of the staff I've dealt with at the Spa have been polite, courteous, and helpful. The staff inside the men's spa are particularly attentive. There's at least one staff member inside the men's spa at all times making sure everything is running smoothly. The men's spa is always very clean. The downstairs dining and interior lobby areas are very nice and elegant. The lobby towards the front of the building (where the valet is located) has computers you can use and a variety of newspapers to read. The selection includes USA Today and the Wall Street Journal. I recently got a couples massage at the trump spa. Upon arrival the spa is located in the same area as the hotels food court. Not exactly serene or relaxing. They take you up very dirty carpeted stairs to the changing rooms which aren't terrible but could use an update. We had two male therapists which normally wouldn't bother me except neither spoke English and one didn't say Word the entire service . It was awkward and expensive for a very mediocre massage. After visiting multiple spas in miami, the trump was a huge disappointment. I do not recommend as you can spend a fraction of the price for a much nicer experience elsewhere. read more

Then I was taken to see the facilities by a very sweet young girl Laura which made me feel welcomed. I was given Royal treatment, the place is very clean, inviting and friendly, I used the sauna, steam room, Whirlpool and shower prior to my main event which was an amazing Facial by Maritza. This lady was amazing well I forgot to mentioned the champagne ladies yeap....a day to remember. I'm so thankful for this gift....it was truly a great experience....I have been in other places before honestly my top of the line facial was at a cruise which you get solar treatment but honestly this facial does not compare to what I get from my estetician at all. I don't even know where to begin. This place is no where near worth the time or money. If you're looking for a great spa, keep looking because this isn't it. I got both a 90 min massage and 90 minute facial and I was anxiously waiting for them both to be over. On my way to my massage there was a staff room with an open door and a woman yelling at someone on the phone. Then a few doors down another door was open to a couple massage and there were two staff members talking unfavorably of a guest who immediately stopped talking the moment they saw me. That did not set a great tone. The massage - I asked for medium/deep pressure and I I did get that but the man was working so fast and with no finesse it just didn't feel like it had any sort of of rhyme or reason to it. Muscles were not specifically targeted, and it really just felt like a big rub down not a massage. I have never had a massage I wanted to be over until this one. After that, I was sent to another room where I was to get a 90 minute facial. I surely thought there was no way this would be worse than the massage. Sadly I was wrong. It didn't start with a cleansing of your face which I thought was interesting but maybe there was a method? So I had what felt like big wet cotton balls stuck on my eyes - fine. But then the esthetician would push them very firmly on my eyes which was so uncomfortable and she would do it again anytime they started to move at all. It was just aggressive when you're trying to relax and it feels like your eyeballs are about to get squished out the back of your head. The bed was shaped so strange (maybe meant for someone not 5'10?) but my lower back started cramping and I was trying to explain to the esthetician I needed to move and I was uncomfortable but there was a language barrier we couldn't overcome so I just tossed around and got myself to a place that was comfortable. When it finally completed, I was given a mirror and there was mascara that had run all over my eyes...this goes back to the not washing of the face initially. Who doesn't do that? What if I had come in with full face of make up? I did remove my make up last night and wash my face but there was clearly come residual. I didn't wash my face again this morning since I figured I was going straight to the spa and why waste skin care? That is my fault. Lastly, this place is not is good shape. It his rundown the carpet is tired, the robe I was given was hanging together by a thread and I expected more from the facility. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because I feel like both the masseuse and esthetician wanted to be there and we're trying but they just had no training or idea about how to deliver a good massage or facial. The place was okay... nothing extraordinary, in my opinion. The parking was easy, the resort was clean, the staff was pleasant, but looking back at it, it was the same as going to any "okay" hotel. The pools were okay, didn't get in because it was too cold that day, the jacuzzi, steam room, & spa area for members was the same as any LA Fitness. I wasn't impressed, I had lunch there and it was good, but again, I wasn't blown away. The decoration is nice but seems a little outdated, maybe that's the look they're going for... not trying to make this seem negative bc I had a nice time, it was just nothing out of the ordinary to me. The actual massage was good. My wife got us a couple's massage for our 5th anniversary. The ladies are that performed the massage were very good and ambiance was ok with little noice coming from the halls outside the room. The spa itself was not the best. Showers backed up, toilets a little dirty and towels seem hard. The worst part was the elevator. I took the one leading to men's locker room and when I pressed floor 2 the doors closed and it started shaking it ended up on third floor and would not open. I was there for 10 minutes until someone reset elevator. It went back down to 1st floor. All I got was an apology. Apparently it was broken for a week and it was just repaired. I consider this a very poor customer service experience. The price for the 2 was close to $500 which is not cheap. I expected better from any Trump related hotel and spa services. I was impressed with my first visit to this spa. I like it high class, and the Mandarin has been the benchmark for a while. I will admit that this one was very, very close. It's an extremely well kept spa and my service was friendly and efficient. Huge, I mean huge sensory shower area and both hot and cold tubs and steam and dry sauna round out the amenities. You also have access to the pool and if hungry, restaurants are literally around the bend. Validated parking made me a happy camper and you can't beat the Spa Week specials. Get on the mailing list for special insider rates. If you are in the Doral area then this is my first pick without thinking about it twice. Now the only thing that I didn't care for is everything starting to speak Spanish to me. I know my last name is a dead giveaway but I think it's just proper to start in English or at least ask. This is probably the largest spa I have ever been to. The size of this place didn't really hit me until I went to the lounge area to wait for my appointment. It was standing room only! Yet, I had been in the locker area, steam and suana rooms and didn't really notice THAT many people around. So right off the bat, I realized that this is a good place for a large group of girls who want to have a spa day -- like my friend who did this instead of having a bachelorette party. Later I realized that this spa is about to undergo a renovation. That could explain why I felt there was a minimum amount of pampering in light of the price of their services. The atmosphere was not luxurious. Practical furniture, no snacks, few toiletries in bathroom area. There wasn't enough separation between the locker area and the waiting room. At every spa I've ever been to, there's always a private dressing area for those who are modest like m. The jacuzzi in between the sauna and steam room was not very warm. Part of the spa day experience is relaxing in the tranquil environment and enjoying the serenity of being pampered -- is it not? Well, here there were not enough places to sit and relax. You had to walk a considerable distance to the outside pool in your robe and spa sandals. The spa menu was VERY limited so that explains why it only costs $15 to add a spa lunch to your service. The pool bar was incredibly slow owing to the fact that the bartender had to wait on the sun-baskers at the pool and make the drinks. The services themselves were excellent. I had a waxing and a massage. Both ladies were very professional and good. The lady who booked my appointment was also very competent and professional. My main complaint about my arrival related to parking. Parking was a complete disaster. There was no valet and my only option left at 10 a.m. was parking a distance from the spa. After our day at the spa, my friends and I learned that the spa will be renovated soon and as a result they are offering discounts and special offers. The three stars are for the quality of service I received and for how I felt afterwards. Even with everything that I found lacking, I had a very relaxing day. But being a loyal to the Doral Spa, having been at least 3 times a year for the past 4 years - I have noticed the decline of service and disappointed the masseuses I favor are never working there by the time I come back. However, they are all very talented I must say. The last time I received a facial, I wasn't impressed at all with the level of service - I would've given myself a better facial. Book a massage, not a facial. Also, the manicure and pedicure I received was the worst I've ever paid for - the nail tech left nail polish on my skin and cuticles, that was the first and last time I booked a nail appt. The ladies lounge is great for relaxation and the sun deck is very private. Love the pool and the gym as well. Overall, I'd come back if I get an email special, it's a nice facility although a bit outdated by comparison... recently I've been scouting out other spa's. read more

I have been coming to the Spa At Doral for years and keep coming back because unlike some of the spas you can have your spa service and then relax the whole day in their property. They have a section which features different steam rooms and saunas, a Jacuzzi and a shower featuring different jets which can be changed to target whatever area of your body which needs massaging. They also have different lounging areas where you can relax. There are several stations featuring different types of water to quench your thirst , one filled with citrus and the other filled with cucumbers. They also have a bowl of water with ice and cucumbers so you can put on your eyes while you relax in one of their lounging chairs. You could also venture out of the spa area and use their swimming pool. This spa continues to be my favorite spa and I can't wait to visit when they finish renovating the spa pool area. read more

I have to say I was not impressed by the Doral Spa. I've read that they are one of the top 10 spas in the country, but perhaps that was based on spa size, not quality. The spa is located in a huge stand-alone building a few minutes' walk from the hotel lobby. The decor is nice but old fashioned - designed in the 80's and never updated. Lots of leafy plants, curving staircases, coral walls, etc. There are 52 treatment rooms, but the massage and facial rooms we were in were tiny. In both the men's and ladies' locker rooms, there are the following facilities: TV room (tiny), jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, sauna, steamroom and sundeck. These are not co-ed. It would have been nice to be able to meet up with my fiance after our treatments to go in the jacuzzi or relaxation room together. The spa pool was closed for the day, so we went over to the main hotel pool, where we were surrounded by kids running, yelling and splashing. As for the treatments themselves, we had mixed results. My fiancee loved her facial, except for the surprise ending, when they painted a thick layer of hot pink lip gloss on her lips! My masseuse talked loud, breathed heavy, and rubbed me like she was waxing a car... I actually got up and left after 20 minutes. I don't really think there's anything wrong with this spa, it's just a little old fashioned. For me, the atmosphere is a big part of the experience, and I prefer something more modern and carefully thought out. read more

I received a Groupon to come visit the spa for Christmas and finally got to use it last week. Let's begin with the fact that I had to call about six times before someone actually picked up. Had left two messages before, no call back. Overall the property and actual spa were great. There's free parking nearby, the entire facility smells AMAZING and the staff is very friendly. I wanted to enjoy the entire day relaxing so I arrived about three hours before my massage. As I mentioned, I had a voucher, but I still had to pay a 20% (I think) gratuity. Not a problem, this is standard and was mentioned to me when I booked my reservation. What I thought was weird is that my massage hasn't been completed and you're asking me to tip the therapist... how? I haven't received my service. Ive never been asked to pay/tip for my services upon arrival. But ok. I decided to go to the pool first. This is where my problems continued. It was a gorgeous day out, perfect weather. I grabbed a lounge chair and laid out. Only problem was I wanted my umbrella taken down but I I couldn't reach it. Every single umbrella was open so I couldn't change chairs either. The entire two hours I was there, not one single staff member showed up to ask me if I was ok or needed anything. Also, was promised champagne, never got that either. Never saw a bar. Never saw food. Never got water. It gets better though. As I'm laying out, enjoying the sunshine and birds chirping and tranquility, a leaf blower starts going off. Then another. Then a chainsaw (I think. I couldn't see, just hear-they were right outside the pool area). These machines went on pretty much the entire time I was trying to relax before my massage. After a while I just left Bc I was getting really irritated. I went back up to change into my robe and get ready for my much anticipated massage. I will say the lounge portion of the facilities is impeccable. Super clean, smells like heaven, and I never saw one towel or single thing out of place. Massage time! I had just started working out again and my body was beyond sore. I really needed this! Massage therapist was very nice and took me into room to get ready for my massage. Once she came in, she just started. Didn't ask me if I had allergies. Didn't ask me how I like my pressure. Didn't ask me if I was hot or cold. Didn't ask me if I had any areas of my body I'd like her to focus on. Ummm....ok. Massage starts and she's just rubbing lotion on me. Literally just rubbing in lotion, no massage. Just slathering lotion on me. On two separate occasions while she was doing the front I asked her to please apply more pressure and nothing. I also asked her when I was face down, and nothing. Towards the end of the massage she used her elbow across my shoulder and I nearly screamed out in pain. The actual massage was just SO BAD. Hands down the worst massage I've ever received in my life. My mom took me here to celebrate our birthdays together. It was a great day! It's the first real stay overnight spa I've ever been to. We didn't actually stay over but it sets the mood for the place when it feels like one big hotel and relaxation fest. With everyone walking around in the same robes and slippers you kind of feel like you're in an insane asylum, or at the very least - rehab! But that's part of the appeal of being so relaxed and taken care of. We arrived just before 11 and each had 50 minute massages and the relaxed in the hot tub (cold plunge avail too but not for me), sensory shower with more jets than I could handle, steam room and sauna. Very nice, beautiful and zen-like. Then we headed for our included lunch and were told we could eat at the Pritikin-diet approved spa restaurant for healthy, no salt fare or go outside to the pool for food. I said SEE YA and headed for the pool where my heavily-salted cheeseburger and fries awaited. After some time in the sun and a few minutes under the hot (cold option too) waterfall beating on my shoulders, i headed off for my facial where I promptly fell asleep. The mark of true relaxation. The one down side is we were planning to take a yoga/relaxation class to end our day but the classes were held in another building where we'd have to take a tram. Not going to happen. Oh well. Okay service. Cracked tiles at sauna. Stained chairs at the restaurant, service waiting room, pretty much every sofa or couch. Walls that appear to be blown up from humidity, expected in an area that's near a steam room but shouldn't be left unattended in such a "luxurious" place. Jacuzzi area is nice but the jacuzzi tiles themselves look dirty or stained? Very good amenities in the woman's bathroom, shower gels, shampoo, body lotion. Even blow dryers and brushes. Except the brushes seem to have never been cleaned. Overall the people were nice-ish but it seems they don't have budgeting to take care of the building area. Or clean...... read more

Terrible service!! We are staying at the hotel and I've been calling the salon now for two days during the normal business hours and NO ONE ever answered the phone in more than 20+ tries to reach them. Finally I went to the front desk and asked them to call. No one answered. Then they called another number at the front desk and someone finally answered. My daughter and I wanted to get a mani & pedi. They could get one of us in today at 2:30 PM and the other would need to be tomorrow. I said no. read more

I was given a Groupon voucher to spend the day at The Trump Spa for my birthday. It was my first time at this spa and I am very satisfied with my experience. The place is so soothing. Just from entering the lobby I already felt such relaxation. The whole place smells wonderful. The lobby staff was so courteous and professional. You meet the lobby staff first and trust me they help you get in the mood, their customer service is wonderful. Then you are introduced to the facility and the amenities. The locker room, shower room, beauty bar, steam room, jacuzzi and the lounge is very clean, smells great and very relaxing music. Now to the best part, the massage. I had the pleasure of meeting Remedios from the Philippines. She is very experienced and did a wonderful job! Wow her services renewed me! I no longer felt stressed nor did I feel any pain. She did a five start massage! I highly recommend her. And will definitely be coming back for more! Next will be the couples massage! read more

This spa is huge!! It is its own building within the premises of the resort. It has tons of amenities: 2 outdoor pools & 1 indoors, a big hot tub in a beautiful area with candles and great ambiance, several steam rooms, saunas, tubs with freezing water for quick dips, several big lounging areas, numerous showers and changing rooms, and little details everywhere ( drinks, fruits, etc.). I went with a big group of girlfriends and had an amazing day. The service I had was an hour massage. However, the lady decided that since I have a back condition, she would be giving me a "neuromuscular" massage instead of the one I chose. I agreed and ended up hating it! First, she wouldn't stop talking to me about how tense I was. Hmm...I wonder why I'm getting the massage! Then, she started grabbing my arms and my head and stretching them to the point of causing more stress and pain to my neck & shoulders, and putting me in uncomfortable positions that strained my entire upper body. I was sore the rest of the day. Anyway, I was not pleased with my therapist at all, but my girlfriends were satisfied with theirs. Some got facials and others got body scrubs which they all loved. All in all, I would definitely go back because the facility is great fun with a big group. I'm sure there's great therapists there, I just happened to be the one with bad luck that day. read more
