    Dog-Friendly and Challenging!
    Heather L.

Phantom of the Big Top is probably the best escape room I have done so far! All the puzzles were challenging without being frustrating or annoying. The room was well-maintained and highly enjoyable to explore. The games master was very friendly and personable, and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. Oh, and it's dog-friendly! Our poor confused pup kept touching the exit door like "...Are you guys ok? This is clearly the way out! Stop walking in circles!!" We will definitely return!

I've wanted to try an escape room for a long time and it's so convenient that Solvang has one! Awesome location with parking in the back. It was easy to reserve a time online and read about the different challenges. Our group opted for the easiest one (the Mischievous Nisse), since none of us had done one before. Upon arrival, we signed the waivers and were then escorted into our room. The storyline is cute- Christmas themed. We were told partway through our game that items were set up incorrectly and items were open that shouldn't have been yet. That was a little frustrating since you're working through clues in a particular order. We also tried to solve as much on our own without asking for hints. Believe it or not, the easy one was challenging for us because we only had 3 minutes to spare. It's definitely an experience and fun to do with a group. It's also pretty affordable!

SO MUCH FUN! We actually have now completed and escaped all three rooms! The staff is fun and there's a great discount for locals. Thanks friends!

Super fun! We chose the hardest room (the circus one) and it was actually quite challenging! I've been to many escape rooms and I found these puzzles to be really unique! There was also a lot to do. We did ask for some hints and overall, we had a great experience!

A fun way to spend an hour on our weekend in Solvang. We did the Christmas themed one which my wife was pretty stoked on.

A 3 room day as we took the on "Curse of the Kraken," "The Nightmare Realm" and "The Sherlock Society." We were greeted by our game master Clarissa who is fantastic by the way. She went over the rules and gave us the story and we were on our way to adventure. We were able to take down all 3 rooms in under the time limit and they were great. Clarissa was so helpful to the group noticing when we were really stuck and offering just a slight nudge but not giving us a direct clue unless we asked. We needed a helping hand in The Nightmare Realm but we did very well on our own in the other 2 rooms. Curse of the Kraken is a small room but there is so much going on in that small space, we really enjoyed the assortment of puzzles and challenges in that room. The Nightmare Realm was our least favorite of the day but we still enjoyed it, the room has taken over where another room we previously did used to be and it has some similarities in design but all new puzzles and challenges. Sherlock Society was our favorite room of the day, we didn't need any hints in this room but still cut it close escaping at the 52 minute mark. The room is so unique and has some incredibly unique puzzles to solve, we really enjoyed every aspect of it. It was another great experience and I highly recommend all escape room lovers try out Two Trees.

You check in at the main office downtown, then hop on a tour bus to the ranch property. Our driver was super informative and entertaining along the way. The drive itself felt like part of the experience with bumpy ranch roads, multiple gates, gorgeous scenery, and a real behind the scenes feel of the property. Once you arrive, the staff gets you geared up with all the safety equipment and everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and great with all ages. After gearing up, you take an old Army style jeep up the mountain and that ride alone was an adventure Super rickety, steep, and fun! We felt very safe the entire time because before every single zip line, the staff carefully checked everyone's safety gear and connections. There are 6 zip lines total and each one is different with spectacular views that change throughout the course. One thing to know is that you should be in reasonably good shape because there are mini hikes between some of the zip lines. There are lots of water stations along the course, which was great, but the experience is definitely active and you do not want to hold up the group. Totally worth it though and such a memorable Central Coast adventure for families, couples, teens, and adventurous kids!

Travis, Jacob, and Aiden (hope I got them all right!) were great game masters and clearly lovers of escape rooms. The Reel, Vampire, and Stacks were the three indoor rooms, all of which were challenging but not frustrating. We escaped all three with time to spare, but got plenty of time to enjoy them. If we get 40 to 50 minutes in a room that's the sweet spot. 59:59 is a bit tight. ;-) And anything closer to 30 and less is way too easy. Obviously I can't say much about the rooms without spoiling any puzzles, but there was a nice blend of traditional locks and clues that were revealed once you solved a puzzle. Rooms were in good condition and all the puzzles worked. Operation Mindfall was a lot of fun. The outside of it all wasn't necessarily integrated into the game, but being outside was a refreshing change from being "locked" in a room. The puzzles were a lot of fun, and kept you moving. And you got a soundtrack to keep you in character as a secret agent. We were also extremely proud to learn that we solved the one puzzle that seemed to break a lot of other teams pretty quickly. We also got first place over everyone who has done this escape at this location. Definitely worth a stop.

We were told it was the most challenging room - definitely was more thinking than the other two, but we've also done a lot of escape rooms between then and now so I think we were better prepared. We received ~3 hints throughout the game and finished with 11 minutes to spare - the flow of the room was probably the best I've ever experienced. Most have like 5 things going on at once, this room was very focused and directed. Don't want to say too much more and give anything away When we finished, we heard an excited woop from the other room and both of the guys there told us we killed it, you could tell they were really excited for us. Super great feeling! Apparently this room has a pretty low completion rate, hence the reaction. They at one point also put up that one math meme gif (with the lady and the calculations) and wrote on the screen something to the effect that we were doing a great job. Thank you to our game master Jacob for the great hints and creating a fun atmosphere for us!

We booked both of their current rooms (Bayou Mystery and Bird Movie) this weekend for my wife's birthday to give it a shot. The Bayou mystery room is visually really nice. I like the setup a lot, the sounds/music is nice and the story was great. The room needs something else, I don't know exactly what but it needs something a little more innovative maybe? The room was just a few puzzles and a couple different types of locks, I was looking for something just a little more like a more interactive puzzle, something mechanical, idk just something to give it a little different feel than puzzle, lock, puzzle lock, rinse and repeat. The Bird Movie room is fantastic. It has a lot of different elements and the puzzles are fantastic. This room really had a great feel to it and it's really difficult, we enjoyed it a lot and would highly recommend it . Overall it was a great experience, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We let them know we love escape rooms but aren't great at them so they were very kind in giving us a nudge in the right direction when we got lost (which was often.)
