I was so nervous going in since it had been almost 6 years since my last one, where they made me brake myself Our guides, Wes, Skippy, and another gentleman (shorter, heavyset - sorry, I don't remember his name) were so funny and sweet. Their confidence and humor assuaged my fears. They encouraged me to go upside down, which I eventually did! The only bummer was that the 4th line (apparently the best line) was down for maintenance, so we skipped that one. Guess we'll have to come back again! read more

We came to Umauma today for the zip line tour. What an amazing experience. Highlight for us was our 5 year old was able to do this one compared to other island zip lines which had an age minimum of 12. It's a bit intense for littler kids but if you have an adventurous youngster this will be a Core Memory hands down. Our three main guides today, Rusty, Kypp, and Kaaesen too great care of us and made sure everyone was safe. Make sure to watch when they do their tricks. This place is amazing rain or shine, even if your staying on the Kona side you owe it to yourself to make the trip, you won't regret it. read more

The property is amazing. the views are amazing. the zipline staff though knowledgeable seemed very focused on finishing early. We were actually told to hurry up while trying to take pictures. we didn't see any smiles until they asked for a tip. I would have left a much larger tip had they been a little friendlier. They didn't offer to help take pictures. There was no information given about the area. these guys need to realize they could make a much better living if they put a little more effort into their job. read more

My boyfriend (30) and I (28) had the best time on the ATV tour! The guides were awesome and did a great job explaining how to operate the ATV and lead us through a super fun trail. The best part was the waterfall!! It was an easy walk down stairs to get there and then you had access to a pretty waterfall with a great place to swim. They also had paddle boards to use which was a fun touch. I would definitely recommend this tour! read more

This was the first time ziplining for my sister and I and the experience has definitely set some high standards for any zipline adventures in the future! We arrived a bit too early but the staff happily checked us in and gave us a map to allow us to explore the area on foot prior to our tour time. When it was time for the zipline tour to start, everyone was given equipment that was checked by the staff to make sure it was extra secure. Our main guide was Maikai aka "Mai Tai" who made everyone feel safe and welcome to ziplining regardless of experience. I don't remember the names of the others but they did an amazing job too! The first zipline starts off easy and low to prep you for what's ahead. Then you're quickly thrown into the highest zipline that overlooks some beautiful waterfalls and scenery. The following ziplines are just as good. The staff even teach you how to zip upside down and how to do a flip at the start of a line. In between zip lines, Mai Tai picked some fresh guavas from trees growing nearby for everyone to try. He even shared an ice cream bean with us at the end which was delicious! Overall this was an amazing experience I'll never forget! It's very worth the money and I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Big Island. Just a side note - zip lining cam get a bit cold when it's cloudly even with rain drizzling so it's good to bring a windbreaker if you encounter such weather. Even though it might seem hot at the start, the ziplining seems to occur at a slightly higher elevation which makes it cooler and more rainy. read more

Let me tell you, I'm so glad I did. The staff was courteous and down to earth... the place was beautiful and the trails were fun. Our guides were awesome im so pissed I forgot there names. But u know who u are, bc we made u laugh...the private waterfall was gorgeous and the water was perfect temperature...overall they have several activities and all well worth it... trust!!! It was very unfortunate that we had to take extreme caution in walking down the steps to reach the kayaks. The risk of slipping and falling was very high and could result in serious injuries. Also the lunch provided was not the most healthy and nutritious meal. read more

There's a river, multiple waterfalls, a forest, the ocean, horses, cows, and the messes that horses and cows leave everywhere. So watch your step. The staff was great. Everyone was very friendly. Very kid friendly. I'm sure there are height and weight requirements online. We were supposed to both zip and "dip" in an area of the river with a waterfall but they canceled the dip because of recent rains and the quality of the water. Hmm. It pretty much rains every single day on the east side of the island so do dips ever happen? Seemed odd but ok. There were theee zips over the river and waterfalls. We are on the Big island with family to celebrate my niece's graduation from high school. To say this ziplining experience was a highlight, is an understatement, and we've done many cool and fun things while here. The grounds are gorgeous. We had a couple of people who didn't zipline and they wandered around and looked at all the pretty things. They have other activities like atv riding, horse riding, and gardens to walk through. There's a visitor center with food and t-shirts and other souvenirs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our ziplining crew were Nick, Micah, and Skippy. They were funny, knowledgeable, encouraging , and made us feel safe. My sister decided last minute to join us and she was very nervous. They made her feel comfortable and kept encouraging her along the way. She is so glad she did it and raved about how great the guys were to her. Gorgeous views during the zip. Nowhere near worth what they charge! 2 lines were down for maintenance so only 7 lines! I got 30% back though! The dipping pond was full of algae and pretty nasty-and treacherous with all the rocks! Takes awhile to even get into the water without falling! The water was pretty nasty! The waterfall was pretty! The staff was really nice and helpful except for 1 girl at the waterfall! Seemed like she got angry with a little boy who kept jumping where he wasn't allowed and she got angry and made us all leave! There weren't enough paddle boards and folks were supposed to share which a few did not! So when there was a free one the girl who made us leave got on it! The water and drinks were hot!
