Thus, it was of most crucial that we chose someone very trust worthy with our huge life time investment. It was a long process because it required knocking down everything I had and building everything from scratch. Because my project was large, I actually got quotes from many GCs around my area but I went with redemption in big part because of their prices. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive either. But everytime my husband and I would specifically calculate a price for anything and ask them about their price, they would be right along the line range of what we we had calculated to be a respectful price. That always led me to think that they are very professional as well because obviously they are in business to make a profit but also to be fair to their customers. That was very important to me to be able to work with a company that thinks about their customers, their workers and their bottom line all at the same-time. I also felt that their payment terms aligned with ok materials are purchased they are at your house, first payment is due this day etc meaning they ask for payment when you can see where your funds are going and that allowed me to built trust throughout which is key for us when doing large projects. I also learned a lot from this project that is important to give your opinion often during the whole process. For example, I wanted my doors installed one way and once some of it was built, I realized that I need to tell the workers hey wait a minute, I actually think it looks better this way, lets change this or that before we go further. Communication is key when someone is working at your house for months, you cant just sit there and expect everyone to read your mind and ask to change things once is all finished. I felt I was able to communicate with everyone well and the workers knew very well exactly what we liked or didn't like all the time because we were always following the process. Each day that the workers finished their day, my husband and I will review how things looked and ask ourselves is this how we imagined it in our dreams? We were well aware that things may look different once installed or built but wanted to make sure that we catch anything we could potentionally not like later within a reasonable time to make adjustments. They were always very accomodating to us ofcourse within resonable expectations and within budget. I also felt that there were many times we would ask for things that were not initially quoted and they would right away tell us the change in price before it was done and I appreciated that as well. My deck and fence were done in a very reasonable time, yes we did have some delays but they were outside both of our control. You cant go into a project thinking is going to be quick, everything takes times and a lot of patience is required in construction projects this large and we knew this very well from the begining. I really enjoyed working with this company as communicaton with workers and project managers was smooth and I felt that our opinions mattered. I would love to work with them again in future projects to keep building a home that our children can enjoy for generations to come !

We had DB Atlanta remodel our master bath, a $50K plus job. At first it went great. Appearance wise…read morethey did a very good job. The remodel included a heated floor system, that all documentation said was to be connected to 120 volt circuit. Unfortunately, their electrical team installed it on a 220 volt circuit. We didn't find this out until a few years later when the thermostat failed, and a manufacturers rep diagnosed the problem. Fortunately only the thermostat failed although according to the manufacturer the floor elements could have also failed do to the over voltage situation. When DB Atlanta was first notified they indicated they would be willing to work with us to correct the problem, but eventually refused to return our phone calls, refused to answer a complaint filed with the BBB, and refused to respond to a letter from our attorney. We have more projects in future but would never again use DB Atlanta, nor could we recommend them.

Their owner is also their bookkeeper. I will amend this if they fix my home. The owner once told me that I would be in court so fast if i left a bad review so just know off the bat, these are the kind of people you will be dealing with. The owner also baselessly called me racist because I am trying to get the mold problem he created fixed. And pay attention to the "reviews" they have on here, somehow they appear all at once from people with no prior reviews. Hiring them is the biggest regret of my life. Remodel group has caused so much damage to my home, they have flooded my house, not once, not twice, not three times, but four times. they have never kept a schedule they have given me and the owners are some of the least responsive and unprofessional people i have ever met. We are now almost two years into a project they thought would take 6 months. Their contract stated they would leave the site clean everyday, they have cleaned it maybe twice in the past year. They left nails in my neighbors driveway and broke my other neighbors mailbox and it took months for them to make it right. They had a habit of leaving human waste in my toilet and not flushing it. they built a floor through a window and left a chimney to nowhere on the side of my house and then said "only your neighbor will see it". The plans called for an request for information if design conflicted and they never once did that and did not even know what an RFI is. They lie on their invoices and double charged me for things and cannot explain simple receipts. They tried charging me $2600 to hang two doors so you have to watch every single invoice they send or you will lose so much money. They had me paying receipts that werent even mine and charged me multiple times for things I had already paid for. Hiring them has truly been the biggest regret of my life. They are still fixing their mistakes and cannot give me an end date. The owners refuse to meet me at my home and have seemingly checked out and the subs do not know what is happening. They put the inside of my home on their instagram account and i asked them to remove it and they refused and then they blocked me. If you are even considering this company please reach out to me and I can give you more details on my nightmare with them.

We were very unhappy with both the process and the results of our two-bathroom renovation. No…read moresupervisor was present to coordinate the crew or oversee the work, so we came home to find mistakes daily: they installed the wrong bead board, reinstalled the old medicine cabinet rather than the new one, didn't measure for wall switches, painted the windows shut, re-installed a clearly broken electrical outlet and didn't bother to sand, leaving rough edges as trim. Aside from the mistakes, the lack of supervision meant crews operated at unpredictable times without notice (nights, weekends) and were very disrespectful of our home. They used our bed as a staging area for drywall, stored hardware on our glass picture frames and used an electric saw on our couch to cut tile. They left a mess inside every day and piles of trash outside every evening. Despite repeated requests to clean up the construction debris, no one would pick it up and we had to take it to the landfill ourselves. Each crew blamed the other for the problems so I had to contact each crew to find out how to fix the other's problems. I wondered why we even hired a contractor if we had to do this ourselves. The bright spot was Taylor the plumber, who was prompt, friendly and detail-oriented. Otherwise, we were disappointed start to finish.
