My daughter and I regularly use Myra to do sugaring for hair removal and she does a great job! She is friendly, warm and very good at what she does. Raunette has also done a facial on my son that helped a lot with his acne. The skin on my legs was very dry and scaly from regular shaving so I started sugaring my legs instead and my skin looks so much better. I highly recommend Myra and the Upper Level Spa. Got a great deal on Groupon and was happy to find that this place is really close by and has parking. (I've tried other good places but they were inconvenient to get to or park.) I figured Raunette would know her stuff since she trains other estheticians on sugaring. I was right. She was highly skilled and very personable, chatting about our kids and stuff distracted me and made time fly. Given how long it had been since I'd done ANY hair removal, the level of discomfort was totally acceptable. On a personal note, as a middle-ish age mom, I appreciated that she was a little more seasoned (based on her kids age, not from her looks) than the typical super young girls usually doing this service. I'm just a little more comfortable disrobing in front of someone I know has had kids and seen bodies that are not 19 and perfect!!! I will def. be back to see her again. Myra is the best!! If you need sugaring you must go see Myra, she has been sugaring for 17 years and knows how to get the job done quickly and painlessly. I started seeing her when I was 5 months pregnant and now at the end of my pregnancy she still zips in and out and we are all cleaned up down there, with little-no pain. It is amazing! I recently took the sugaring certification class with Myra and Raunette and just had to leave a review on how fabulous this class was. Myra and Raunette are very knowledgeable and they do a great job at explaining and teaching. Every step is explained and as I practiced they repositioned my body and hand movements to show me what I was doing wrong with my hand position and the correct way to do it, this way I could see what I was doing wrong and why it didn't work. Now that is patience and a good instructor. I highly recommend this class!!! read more
