It has a great atmosphere. It has plenty of places to sit and relax. The coffee is amazing! I got a White Chocolate Raspberry Latte which was great! They had plenty of different options for coffee and food. The grilled cheese was pretty tasty. As for the service, the people are great and super friendly! I highly recommend checking this place out! The address is a bit misleading, because you enter the coffee shop from 19th St, but it's accessible from 18th, just not as easily. I almost didn't even go in because the building is so nondescript, it didn't seem like there'd be a beautiful coffee shop inside. The beverage menu was extensive, and the coffee/food we got were absolutely delicious. Everyone on the staff there was super helpful and so nice. They were so accommodating to me and my family. The lobby area was beautiful and comfortable. They had comfy leather chairs, plenty of table space, and even a couple of long high top tables with wireless chargers and charging cables available for almost any device you need. I also really enjoyed the tree inside. We will be stopping by here again, for sure, it was worth every minute off track.

They did an okay job on the London Fog Latte. The main limitations were the space and setup. There were only a few small tables available, and they did not have ceramic mugs for serving. Awakening has an array of espresso beverages and coffee as well as smoothies and a few baked items. My dining companion and I both opted for one of their seasonal specialty lattes. They have milk alternatives, so we were both able to get our desired almond milk for our lattes. Their espresso is pitch perfect. I can not overstate this. Seriously, one of the best lattes I have had the pleasure of consuming in the entire state of Wisconsin right here in little ol' Kohler. That alone made the drive from Milwaukee worth it. Their bites are limited to bakery sweet treats. I'm not much for sweet in the morning but was pleased to find that the grocery store where Awakening is situated has lovely savory breakfast options. As I mentioned, they are situated inside a grocery store but don't let that deter you. The grocery store itself is charming and they have a lovely dining area in the middle of the store where you can enjoy your coffee and bites. Our barista was absolutely lovely. They were the one who clued us in on the delicious breakfast bites that we could get at the adjacent deli in addition to serving up such a delicious latte. Get to it!
