This is an nice easy stop to drop something off to UPS. Clean store. Friendly staff and even though it does not have a lot of room there is plenty of space to get what you need done while others wait in line. I had to return a huge guitar back to Amazon and they were so helpful with the packaging and making sure it was taped together correctly. It was easy to get a receipt for my amazon return. Next time I drop something off I am going to ask what the golden boxes are for. It would be my guess that they would be old PO Boxes? I love how it make it feel like a post office with a vintage feel. The cost for shipping are comparable across other UPS stores. read more

"Beth" the manager is very disrespectful and rude. I called with a tracking number issue after getting off the phone with UPS customer service said they never received my package that I dropped off at this store on Tuesday. After trying to explain my situation, was speaking for no less than 10 seconds before she cuts me off and starts berating me saying "UPS would never say that to you. You didn't speak with them." I tried to inform her that yes they did. Before calling you I just got off the phone with them. She then said I must've spoken to different mailing company because I didn't speak to UPS and called me a liar. I told her I have my tracking information pulled up on the computer and she told me that's impossible. She must've woke up on the wrong side of the bed, because I'm not sure why someone was ready to be so negative and nasty at 9am. read more

If I am waiting in line (at about a 6 ft interval from the customer in front of me), I've yet to wait long to complete my transaction. Do not go here for the fingerprinting service!!!! The entire experience SUCKS!!!! It's a total waste of your time and money!! The fingerprint machine displays numerous error messages and the quality of the fingerprint result is terrible! I followed the instructions exactly. One of the UPS Store workers told me a lot of people have complained about the machine. Go to another facility to get your fingerprints! Life made easy! I do a whole lot of online shopping and am always sending mail out to family. I do all my returns at UPS and can also ship personal mail. You just drop off prepackaged things - they don't make you wait in line unless you need a receipt. For amazon package it's just a QR code and it's super quick and easy. It was a busy day at UPS and it seemed that every customer in front of me had a problem: wrong phone number for an important fax, wrong label for the return of a piece of equipment in a heavy wooden box, multiple boxes to mail with barely legible writing. Fortunately, I wasn't in any hurry but I'm sure the two employees felt a certain degree of pressure to serve their customers. I searched all over for a UPS store who would sign my I-9 form to start my new job. I am working remotely and the nearest site is over 3 hours away so everything has to be verified. Two other UPS stores would not sign it and finally, this spot was able to assist me. I was so grateful! Even though this store is a little out of the way for me, I will continue to bring them business for always being so great and for taking the time to help out their customers. I have been a loyal customer at this particular store for years. The previous owners were so friendly and helpful and I was happy to support their small business by shipping all of my business mail and packages with them. Unfortunately, new ownership has taken control and the staff that run this branch are very rude and not helpful. Yesterday, I went to ship a box of books that were supposed to have a prepaid shipping label from the recipient. I simply asked them to scan the bar code and check for me regarding payment. I was told "you have to go to corporate for that," despite the associate holding a bar code scanner in her hand. When I asked him why he refused to simply check for me he got mad, stormed off and said loudly, "I am not helping this woman!" It is not unreasonable to have a customer ask you to problem solve an issue, especially when it would have saved me $20. It didn't end there. A new associate came to help and when I said I would just pay whatever the fees were and asked if they would tape the box up where it was breaking, she got snippy with me saying, "well, why wouldn't we do that, ma'am? The delivery driver can't take it if it isn't taken up" in a rude and sarcastic tone. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The store clearly doesn't value customer service or repeat business from customers. I would not recommend this store any longer. The treatment of the employees was absolutely unacceptable for simply mailing a package and asking a question. read more

Stopped by on 2/29 at 2:30pm, which was a Saturday. The posted hours were until 3pm and there was a sign on the door that on March 1st, the store would be closed for construction. Yet, when I walked in, a lady rudely said they were closed for construction. I said "today is the 29th and the sign says 3/1." She sneered, "yeah, well, we're closed for construction." Store is low staffed. Mail was rarely received, I think this is due to needing a suite number as well as a PMB number. Consider another store perhaps for better delivery, or a USPS PO Box. Additionally mail services did not match contract. When mentioned to staff, was told they'd have to contact other team members who aren't on-site. read more

Friendly people and usually no wait, but would recommend bringing everything you need - there are supplies you can get here of course (envelopes, tape etc.), but it'll cost ya! One other thing you should be aware of: you know how when you want to return an item to Amazon, you could get a code instead of printing your own label (or if your printer doesn't work). But that code can only be read at a UPS store like this, which is a franchisee, and not at a "real" UPS center that UPS owns. That's why I had to come here after going to the UPS center. The absolute WORST customer service given by Ms. Patel. I brought a untapped package into the UPS store, which I have done many times at other locations. Some locations charge for taping up your package (which I don't mind) and others don't. Ms. Patel began lecturing me about bring in the box taped. I told her I don't have an issue paying for the tape used. She continued on and told me she was going to charge me $3.00, I told her nooo problem not an issue, then she told the cashier to charge me $5.00. To avoid any issues I paid the $5.00 and left. This has to be the WORST case of customer service I have EVER seen. Ms. Patel you belong in an industry that does not interact with customers. read more

The UPS store has an agreement to take Amazon returns, I've been using them for quite a while for this... out of the blue they now charge you $2 to print a label, one piece of paper. They have never charged for this before and I honestly wouldn't mind paying, but getting gouged for $2 is ridiculous... and it's not the $2, it's the point of getting gouged. read more

I use to love this place but after today. No thankyou! I came in to have a few things pack and delivered. Right when i work in. I have already notice her voice. i couldn't even hear myself think. The owner wife was on her phone talking very loud in her language. In which I have nothing against her ethnic. The fact was she was overly loud TALKING ON THE PHONE! Is just RUDE. I moved near the Altamonte Mall and I changed my UPS Store June 2019. I conduct both business and personal transactions at the store. There has not been one time where I haven't received superb customer service from Neet and Beth. They are amazing. Always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. If the store is crazy busy, I get the same treatment. I highly recommend this store to everyone. I have no plans to change UPS store. Keep up the awesome work! Because he couldn't find my package he refused to give me the customer service number after he wrote it down on piece of paper so sloppy I couldn't read it. I  want to express my appreciation for the excellent service we encountered at the UPS store in Altamonte Springs, Florida. My sister and I had a family heirloom, a longbox grandfather clock, that we needed to ship to our cousin in Northern California. We had consulted with a few other shippers who wanted to charge an exorbitant fee, with very little assurance that the clock would arrive in one piece, and in a timely manner. We also had a clock expert come to the house to pack up the inner works and weights separately, but it was up to us to get these parts and body of the clock to the shipper. We chose the Patel's UPS store as they had previously shipped art-work for us and said that they could ship the clock if we could get it to their store. Fortunately, we managed to get the clock into our rental car to drive the short distance to the store. Mrs. Patel did a terrific job packing the clock, taking great care in packing it, along with the workings, in 2 other boxes - using enormous amounts of packing materials, so that we were satisfied that the clock would arrive safely, which, one week later it did. I have been coming to this location since it first opened up. The only reason I go here is because its the only UPS store I know of around Altamonte. Ms. Patel seems to make up taping rules and today was lecturing me saying my box wasn't ready because it wasn't taped. She then was telling me she was going to charge me a $1 to tape the box and that her employees never tell customers they will charge them to tape a box. VERY RUDE and PETTY. I cannot stand being checked out by this woman. I feel sorry for her husband Mr. Patel he is always so sweet and kind but she on the other hand is very nasty! Over the weekend I ordered a presentation to be printed and bound together for a very important meeting. Monday morning 8:30 AM I call the store to ensure that my order would be completed today. They tell me no problem sir. 12:30 pm I get an email saying my order was ready to be picked up. Wonderful! Then 6:00 pm when I arrive to pick up the documents I find out they have not printed them all out. In fact, THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO BIND THE DOCUMENTS. Never bothered to tell me when I called them to ensure it was done on time. Never bothered to call me later on to let me know there was a problem. The owners of this store are not the type of people who should own a store. I feel bad in a way (lots of reviews here seem to have racist undertones to be honest) but ultimately they decided to operate this business and if they can't handle very basic customer requests they need to find something else to do. read more
