Update: the item did get returned & refunded a couple days after this post. Thank You to the UPS store for the response to this review. When I walked into this store on a thursday afternoon there were packages EVERYWHERE! it was a mess! I dropped off 2 amazon rtns that day which were both on the same receipt. One was returned & refunded within a few days. The other one kept showing as on its way back. I called amazon & they said the item didnt even leave that UPS store until at least 4 days after the first item. 10 days later i'm still waiting to find out the status of this return. read more

I love this location. Great friendly & dependable customer service. I visit this location On Havana Street about 3-5 times a week. The staff and ownership are always friendly, welcoming, and warm on EVERY VISIT. They are very helpful and great at offering the wide variety of services. The business improvement district I work for has a PO BOX at this location. It is very convenient to get my work mail. Often when I receive any packages Raj at the UPS store will send an email notifying me that I received a delivery. In addition, UPS offers so many convenient services: UPS shipping services, Packing services, Office/packing supplies, Mailbox services, Copying (B/W and Color), Faxing (send/receive), Document finishing services (laminating, collating, binding), passport photos, AMAZON drop off/pick up, document shredding, and much more. Another great perk of this location is that it is located in a large shopping center with a VERY LARGE parking lot. Lots of parking! If you ever need to find an UPS Store with a great staff that is reliable then check out this location On Havana Street, near Havana & Florida, in the shopping center near the Aurora Costco and behind Denny's. read more

Avoid at all costs! There are others close by. This is the only UPS store in the area that consistently tries to charge me for my free Amazon returns. These people are scam artists who will do anything to nickel and dime you instead of doing their job as a service provider for Amazon. They will still try and charge you even if they know how process your return for free. The old guy who runs the place is the worst, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with his grandson and granddaughter. I have seen him do this to old ladies with no remorse. I needed to mail a standard letter certified mail and I was told it was going to cost me $25 per letter! Normally it's around 7-8 dollars per letter the employees told me I could do a regular tracking for $17 per letter! I told him both of those are ridiculous and was he serious. I left and proceeded to call five other UPS stores to get their pricing for a certified letter and they were anywhere between 7.50-8.50 For the same things I was asking. Definitely do not recommend this store. Either they were price gouging me or just didn't want to do it! read more

I had a fantastic experience at the store. I'd say the most valued thing going to any shipping facility is speed and convenience. Customer service is right up there as well. Well, my experience here at ups was all of the above. I needed to return my package but did not have a shopping box. I walked in and told the sales associate that I needed a box he took my item measured it rang me up and I was out of there without 3 minutes. I didn't have to do any of the packaging, labeling, or figuring out which box to get. He was friendly, and literally did everything for me. I love this place. DO. NOT. BRING. YOUR. PACKAGES. HERE. Be forewarned. I have experienced this store's lack of ability to do their job correctly. I should've been intuitive and left the store when I asked the employee working on Sunday for my receipt for tracking. He stated "the tracking # is on the receipt" I informed him it was not and he said let me see. He then acknowledged that it was a mistake , he actually hadn't scanned my package and the receipt he printed was only for my printing. Fine.... prior to all this, He placed the label I printed there in a plastic sleeve and took the box. What he did with that label who knows. Because here I am at home with the package I dropped off to get returned to a merchant, now at my front door. Perhaps he scanned it (he was already flustered by the fact that I guess he hadn't done so in the first place), and never attached it to the box -_- or he scanned the label from when it was delivered to me initially. My issue is not so much that a mistake was made that's costing me money and time, but more so that when I called the store and that same employee answered , he was very condescending and speaking around what I was stating and I even had to let him know that his listening skills were subpar. I called back several times for a manager and left a voicemail. We will see if one or the owner who also works there returns my call. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. read more

So there is this word, it's called Accountability...the USPS does not know what that word means. This location is a prime example of why this business needs to be privatized. There are workers who obviously do not care about the jobs they have, nor do they care about the satisfaction or feedback from customers. This does not start at the workers, it is a problem of how the management is nonexistent and the internal structure of the business is still running on a system that was set up decades ago. They do not care if you get mail in time, and they WILL say they attempted delivery when they did not at all. The number 303-366-1027 is the number to the office but they will never pick up the phone because they really are understaffed and have one or two people working the whole time while the random people in the back will never look to answer the phone. Also a guy by the name of Abel (the supervisor) was extremely rude when handling a lost package. I was accused of not knowing my own tracking number, then when they found out that the package was lost he says "the USPS loses 1 out of 1000 packages a day, did you get insurance?" He then refused to transfer me to his superior to talk about what else we could do about this matter at hand. I have called the sorting facility and spoke with several people there to further investigate this missing package and was met with the same kind of "not my fault, we don't care attitude." No package still, no calls back from the 1800 number or the local office. That is how USPS treats customers. No wonder they are on the way out, please just let it happen sooner! read more

Yesterday, I contacted this store because I was sent to collections by Century link, they were claiming the equipment I sent them in July of 2015 was never delivered. I no longer had my receipt with the tracking numbers for proof of delivery. I called the store and spoke with Rajiv, all I knew was that I shipped the items from that location and it was either the end of June or the beginning of July. I asked him if I had the shipping address would that help and he said that it wouldn't. He took my name and number and said that he had about 665 shipments during that time and he would call me back after he searched. I have had several medical issues which required me to fax several doctors my medical records. The three guys at The UPS Store on Havana in Aurora were wonderful! I have patronized this store a few times, mostly to drop off for pre-paid shipping. They are close and covenient so I figured I would use them for shipping a large item and I would rather give my money to small businesses, being a small business myself. The shipping was outrageously high but it was a large item so I sucked it up. However, the transaction left a bad taste in my mouth and I thought about it way too much, after. Apparently, I didn't learn that time and went there again to send a $150 money order OVERNIGHT, 2 states away. When I asked them to cancel the transaction, due to it being outrageously overpriced again (I ship A LOT so I know the approximate cost), the owner/manager became pushy and insistent and had a better 'deal' for me. I was really pressured to get the money order to where it had to go so I went ahead and overpaid....again and left feeling bitter...again. I rationalized to myself that I have wasted my money on other things so I figured a few extra dollars to keep a local business going was worth it even though it felt bad. WRONG! The money order didn't make it overnight, it took THREE days. I specifically asked for it to get there overnight and the owner/manager said it would but the post office didn't even pick it up until the next day! That was important information for me to have, considering I was working against a deadline! Please, please do me and yourself a favor, go a little further down to Havana & Miss and patronize the USPS by the Animal Hospital. Yeah, they don't smile but at least they don't lie to your face and tell you what they think you want to hear to get your money. Plus, you won't have to worry if the carrier has stopped by the UPS Store at 1555 S Havana St yet since you dropped it off AT the Post Office already. Oh, and did I mention USPS is $15 CHEAPER for REAL, OVERNIGHT shipping? I think I learned my lesson this time. read more

Came into the store to overnight a package of paper that was legal size. The store employee told me they don't have any legal size envelopes and that I would have to purchase an envelope to send the package in. I explained to him that all of the UPS stores and FedEx stores provide free envelopes for next day air. He tells me well they don't and that they charge for it. I asked to speak to the manager and the employee let me speak with the owner of the store. He also proceeded to tell me I have to pay for a legal size envelope. I explained to him as well that no UPS store charges me for an overnight legal size envelope and that I do this every single day I'm a notary and I do mortgage closings every day and send them UPS no charge to me. All of a sudden he size and pulls out a legal size envelope from UPS for me to use. I will never use this UPS store again and I will advise all my notary professional associates to do the same.
