They only get a two star because the person working there was super nice. It cost $7.95 to scan 5 pages in black & white and put those on my own thumb drive. Using the same machine, to make photocopies (and that would cost UPS the paper it was printing on) would have cost a total of $0.55. Let me see if I can understand this - Putting paper in the machine and getting an electronic version of the copy is 1,447% more expensive than getting a paper copy that will actually cost the store more money. #fail read more

I've kept a mailbox here for yrs to have packages delivered to. Rahul and his staff has been amazing to me over the years. Super helpful and nice, and I've gotten to know them all and enjoy going in. Extremely poor customer service. They don't know how to use their own system and as a result wasted my time and added to the hassle of what is supposed to be an easy return. When asked to justify their short and confusing response so I could contact the seller/shipper, they said "we don't need to" and "you are wrong." I called the source I was returning from and they confirmed I was correct and told me to "avoid that shop--they are known to be terrible to their customers." I'd recommend going elsewhere to get your needs met in a respectful manner. Downtown and Solano Ave are great! read more

Went in this morning for packing assistance returning some shoes. The woman behind the counter did everything for me, free of charge. Granted, I provided the return label and a packing bag in bad shape, but she kindly wrapped up my return and handled everything for me. So kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back. The other day I got a quote from this store to ship a small package of papers (less than 1 pound) in an envelope type package. The quote was very high. Took it down the street to You Send Me and Fed Ex was considerably cheaper. Post Office was even better for the same service/same delivery time. He also charges a service fee if UPS tries to deliver to your house and then you have to pick it up from him. Must be a franchise because a UPS owned store won't double dip like that - charge you for shipping and then charge a pick up fee. He also told me that UPS will no longer try a 2nd delivery. One shot is all you get (if it needs a signature) so try any other carrier like Golden State or Fed Ex as they will try to deliver at least twice. Very expensive and did not appear interested in my business. Not sure what business he's interested in? - not from the little guy it seems. read more

The young woman working there today was absolutely wonderful! Her name was 2 syllables and ended with Jot. I am embarrassed to say that I can't remember the first half of the name. Anyway I came in with 100 pounds of personal belongings to ship to 2 friends in separate states. She answered all my newby questions, told me all my alternatives, estimated the size box I needed, oversaw my packing, encouraged me, carried the boxes to be weighed and remained cheerful, helpful, efficient and calm. And during all this she also handled a dozen other customers who came in for the various other services. I was so happy with the experience that I asked her what her name was so that I could give one of my first Yelp reviews ever! read more

I've come by 3-4 times and only once was it actually open during supposedly Open Hours. I don't bother anymore.

Should I report this store closed? I visited at 11:30 and 12:30 on a Saturday and despite the sign reading that they should be open they were closed. And not "gone to lunch" closed. They obviously hasn't been open the whole day to that point. The only good thing I can say is that UPS couldn't break anything in my package because they couldn't even be bothered to open to try and destroy my package. LAZY. I'll just let FedEx break my things next time. read more

I made an appointment for notary services, got a confirmation email when I made the appointment, got a reminder email this morning, just to arrive today to be told the notary was out of town. When I told the girl working at the front desk that I had a notary appointment she simply said "no" with no other explanation until I ask a follow-up question about what she meant. She was minimally apologetic and seemed to think it was not much of an issue. She offered no remedy or solution as far as making another appointment at another location or knowing when the notary would return. read more

Uhhh this store was completely closed in the middle of the day. I took a picture of the store hours and everything which said you should be open. No note or anything. And as salt in the wound, I drove here to return Comcast equipment because it was supposed to be "so easy" because of UPS's partnership with Comcast. It was like a double whammy of suck! The guy who works here is super super super nice. I had my car smashed and broken into and had to print out some forms for stolen stuff/police reports etc. When I went to pay for the print out, he didn't charge me and said I had been through enough.
