Arman is the best - always incredibly friendly and helpful. As an example, I recently had a lot of heavy weightlifting equipment delivered to them. Within minutes Arman had me setup with a U-Haul van - which he rented to me at an incredible price - and his coworker Ayman went above and beyond by helping me load everything into the van. This Mail Box facility closes at random hours!!!Although the posted open hours are 9-6, we went there twice recently to pick up important packages and found out they were either closed the whole day or closed early. They didn't even bother to leave a message in their phone answering service and let people know that they are closed on that particular day. This place is so unreliable, we won't trust them anymore for important deliveries. read more

I am disappointed with this location's notary services. We paid $30 which is reasonable rate but they told us we had to choose between two different stamps (an acknowledgement and a jurat) they explained to us the differences and told us they could not advise as to which one to use and if we picked incorrectly we would need to come back and pay again for the other stamp. Needless to say, we picked the wrong one and had to pay another $30 to get the other notary stamp. The other notary we used said that they should have guided us which one to use. Also the new notary took our fingerprints while this one in Alameda did not. Not sure why there were differences there. I would not recommend this place for notary. read more

Find and pay for street parking along Santa Clara. Enter through the diagonal wall with glass doors. The counter is straight ahead with mailing package necessities on the right. Customer service has always friendly. The line can be long depending on the hour. Say what you need, and they're more tan helpful. They're contracted with FedEx, so the shipping process is similar to the actual store. Oh man!!! I wish I consulted my business guardian angel (Yelp) before working with this place. Had I known they received a 1 star rating prior I would have never decided to go with them. All I can say is working with them has been a nightmare. My problem is with their shipping service and the one star reflects their ability to ship. It would be no star if I had a choice. Their others services may be better but who knows. Chime in if you feel I'm wrong but If you send packages through any shipping service shouldn't they have your information on hand? Well, I did send 2 art pieces through them to a gallery in Chicago. 2 Months later that same gallery sent the packages back to sender(Mail Boxes Plus). I never received a phone call. I found out through the gallery that is being sent back to Chicago because I failed to claim it. I end up calling MBP and they said "its not their responsibility" because it didn't match any of their mail box renters and it was the galleries fault for sending it back without the original shipping label. I asked "why not search previous shipping transaction and back it up with the name on the package, you have my CC info address home phone and cell phone. Their response "not our responsibility" Spare yourself the time and money. It's really not worth it. Bring on the rebuttal MBP whatever you say wont help you! Sad to say we didn't do my passport because it was my first time but she went far and beyond calling people to help put me on the right track to help me with my first time passport!! These folks are friendly, responsive to your needs, and take care of your mail and packages. in my opinion they provide a far better service than their competition and you don't have to worry about porch pirates. In addition to being able to handle all of your incoming and outgoing mail, they have the supplies you might need, work with the Postal Service, UPS, FEDEX, and other shippers.
