The biggest mafia coporation in the Untied States. When shit goes down, UPS blames UPS store, and UPS store would blame UPS. In the end, the customers pay for their mistakes. My package was supposed to be delivered to Paris within two days guaranteed. But UPS made a mistake when they gave out the shipping information to the French custom, and the package was not delivered even after a week. Although UPS store claimed they would give me a full refund, but UPS refused to make that offer. Instead, they forced me to pay for the return fee of the shipment. I'VE SPENT 400 DOLLARS ON AN UNDELIVERED PACKAGE, and I didn't do anything wrong. They've promised hundreds of times, but never deliver. Of course they never admit that they promised anything. I am not asking for any resolution at this point. But I sincerely warn any of you who is interested in doing business with UPS, PLEASE DON'T SHIP THROUGH UPS. read more

Service was good, but the prices are extortionate! I wanted to print a return shipping label and it's $3 to print period plus extra 14 cents and up depending on if black and white or color. I'm not sure if this is the norm for all UPS stores, but you can definitely print so much cheaper at Fedex or literally anywhere else. read more

I've used this location to pack and ship items from our store for years. We recently had an issue where a customer received a package that was missing a piece. The shipping insurance was denied because we couldn't prove we had provided all the pieces. We contacted the manager, who assured us the packing area was videoed. We had misplaced our receipt with the time stamp of when we had brought the package in, but the manager took the time to review hours of footage, and provided us with crystal clear video of the missing piece being wrapped and placed into the box. Insurance was honored and disaster avoided, all do to the professionalism and concern of the branch manager/owner. Thank you so much. You really saved the day. read more

I generally try to leave good reviews for places I like and not a bad review for the sake of leaving a bad review. But I am making an exception. The customer service here is terrible, at least over the phone. I called in to ask if a Work order has been called in for something I need to ship. The young guy who answered the phone answered "Not that I know of, off the top of my head". I asked if he could check, because I know it was called in last Friday and he flat out told me he couldn't check. I'm sorry, but you are paid to work somewhere and you can't check something that is a part of your job? I didn't even know what to say and he told me to call back another time "because we are kind of busy and I can't help you over the phone." Seriously, ask me to hold and look it up once you are done with your customer. This seems like trust funds snooty kids forced to have a job. read more

ZERO STARS. Don't waste your time at this place. We drove 20 mins to get a form notarized here because Yelp said they were a notary. Waited in line for another 20 mins. Only one guy is authorized to do it for us and he wasn't there today. So we asked to buy shipping boxes. NO BOXES available either. So we tried to buy bubble wrap. NO BUBBLE WRAP - out of stock as well. Wtf kind of shipping place doesn't have boxes or bubble wrap to sell. Just terrible. read more

This is the worst place ever, do not use them. They take no responsibility for not writing in the tracking #s when you do a drop off. So when package is lost their is not way of finding even though you gave the person at the counter the package. They charge $1.00 to use their tape. They aren't' even sorry. This is the worst UPS store I've ever dealt with . I mailed off a package there on 2/21/2020 and someone there actually stole the sneakers . They never shipped them out . Be careful of shipping from this location . For four or five days when I was tracking the package it was saying in route . But the package never left the location to be ship. Terrible service. I called and asked for their fax number so that I could get a fax sent there. They gave me the fax number, but didn't mention that they had no toner in the fax machine. Wasted an hour of my time. Look at the reviews for this place, what a disaster. I came to get documents notarized some documents at the last minute but couldn't find any office open but then I found this UPS office that was open and had someone to notarized the papers for me. The guy I spoke to was very pleasant and assured me that once I got to the office before 5:00 I'd be fine and even when I told him I worked in the Bronx and I'd have to rush to get there on time and being that it was a Saturday and I was leaving at 3:00 AND there's always construction on the weekend I don't know if I'd get there on time as anything could happen and cause delays. He said he would try to get the Notary to stay until 5:30 if I needed more time! When I got there I got it done very fast and a guy named Oscar signed as a witness for me (he was funny) and he made a corny joke about being a professional witness. I love corny jokes. read more

Went here Saturday to pick up some boxes for my upcoming move. The guy there couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. He very patiently explained to me the different box packages, and saved me some money by recommending a slightly smaller box size than the one I was thinking of, which I got ten of for a very decent price. He also let me keep the boxes there after I bought them to do some food shopping next door before taking them home. Highly recommended! read more

I'll summarize, rather than repeat what's already been said. Charging you for tape, refusing any package larger than a loaf of bread, and more 'tude than should be allowed by law. These guys (or possibly just some of them, including the owner) are what google ought to return if you search for "surly douchebag". Maybe it's the corporate culture. I once caught my local UPS guy kicking a package up the steps, because he couldn't be bothered to bend over and pick it up. Use Fedex - or if you're a patriot, the good ole' U.S. Postal Service. There's hardly ever a line at the automated kiosk. Or go to Office11211 right around the corner on Bedford. Only one guy in there is a dick, the rest are super friendly. Anyway, don't go to this UPS Store. I would send my shipment by tying it to the tail of a burning dog before dealing with them again. read more

Its true that they seem to hate their customers, but not always. And that, for this neighborhood, is almost weird. Occasionally when I come in (and I go there regularly) the desk people are friendly and welcoming, and they have the system set up so that it takes seconds to mail things, literally. For packages its only slightly more expensive than the US postal service, and the line here is always short. I once tried to save money after getting their quote, walked many blocks south to the post office, waited in line for literally one hour. I ended up saving about three dollars and wanting to end my own life. So when your competition is the us postal service, it is very difficult to loose customers. read more

I have been using UPS for years to ship everything I sell on eBay and I always had good experiences until I met the guys at this store. I rarely write reviews on Yelp but this one place deserves it. Every single time I have to use them to ship anything it was a terrible experience. I used them 3 times. The first time I was shipping 4 small boxes and I ran out of tape and I needed literally about 4 inches of tape to finish sealing a box. I asked the person behind the counter if they could do that and they said I had to buy tape - even tho I was shipping 4 other boxes and I could see 1 roll of tape RIGHT NEXT TO THE PERSON that told me I had to buy it. I replied and said I only need 4 inches of tape... they said I had to buy it. Ok, I bought it. The second time I had them pack a musical instrument for me because I was in a hurry and the person who I shipped it to complained about how it was so poorly packed that it arrived almost without a box The third time I got there at 4:54 and waited in line for a couple minutes, the guy behind the counter finally asked me if I was dropping the box off, I said that I had to ship it - he replied and said it was already 5pm and I would have to wait until monday. I said I have been waiting in line for a couple minutes and it was actually 4:57, in case he really wanted to get into that... he said, without looking at me, that I would have to wait until monday. I debated with him a little bit more and he said there was nothing he could do, the whole time he didn't look at me. I guess the service here is a joke, I plan on never doing business with them again. I actually decided to only use Fedex from now on. I probably spent thousands of dollars with UPS over the years but now I don't plan on spending another dime. read more

I found the service to be friendly, but they told me that shipping a 13lb package with $1000 insurance 2 day would cost $700. I'm not kidding! My wife took the package to the mail room at her work the next day. Not only was it 8lb, but they had UPS pick up and ship two day for $20! Granted I'm sure they get some bulk rate discount, but after calling UPS myself later and asking questions I'm sure these people are robbing us all blind. I'm the last person to revue or make a big deal of things, but i will be calling the chamber of commerce and complaining. read more

This Place has staff that knows how to ship anything I shipped my lamps and I forgot to take the light bulbs off and it was packed so well the light bulb and lamp are in perfect condition! I shipped something not even that fragile at the fake Fedex place around the corner and the thing broke in to pieces. read more

I as well have suffered the "we do not accept large boxes with prepaid UPS labels" issue, having lugged an item all the way to the store, only to be told to go home and arrange for (and pay for) a UPS pickup. I asked if there were any alternatives, to which they replied that they would send the item if I paid them for the shipping. As someone else had already paid for the shipping and sent me a UPS label, I was left to pack it home and pay for a pickup. To make matters worse, I later needed to send an item with a declared value of over $1,000. This was a small box (a camera). I purchased a UPS shipping label online, brought the item to the store to drop off and was told that they wouldn't accept it or sign for it (even if I paid them to ship it). They told me to (you guessed it) go home, call for and arrange (and pay for) a UPS pick up from my home. I don't really view this as a UPS store, so much as it simply seems to be a typical expensive "pack and ship" storefront. UPS should pay attention, as FedEx and USPS Priority Mail seem far more convenient (and I second the recommendation of the mail/Verizon store on Bedford around the corner). read more

Knowing my situation for urgent delivery, the manager tracked down the UPS truck so I can get the package there in time!! Very friendly staff and service! read more
