Vashu is the notary here and he was very unkind during the entire interaction. Making me feel like I had done something wrong. I understand you are at UPS but you never know what someone is signing. He didn't even acknowledge me when i was standing beside him asking his a question simply ignored me and made me feel less than. You're on snapdocs and you seem very nice via your picture but you also charged me $4 when it's supposed to be $2. Work on your customer service and the way you treat people. I could've been rude but I was nice. If you hate your job try to make it better. read more

I've been using the UPS Store at 144 North 7th since it opened.... I thought the building across the street would never be completed. Any time I have to mail or ship anything I always go there to 'UPS' it because I love having a tracking number.... and I hate going to the post office. For the last few years I've been a bit hesitant about going into the store because a few of the staff act like they're doing me a favor UPS'n my stuff. I very often walk right past the store so it's easy for me to wait until I see the guy named Nicholas. I like dealing with him because he not only remembers me.... he makes it easy for me to ship my items.... with zero attitude. He's been there awhile. A lot of the other guys I liked dealing with have gone. I hope Nicholas sticks around. I just want to UPS my stuff without drama. read more

The staff here is really good, especially the manager AJ. They handle a huge load of customers and transactions and do it calmly and pleasantly. We've been a customer with a mailbox there for over ten years and recommend them highly. I've never had an issue with a lost package, etc. read more

If you need to use this location for returns that are supposed to be free, be prepared for them to charge you $5 to print a single piece of paper as the shipping label. I would avoid to return your packages at this location at all cost. It is true of what others say, they charge for every little things. I was charged for $1 to have my box taped on the TOP side only, meanwhile other UPS locations allow you to use their tape for FREE. When I asked the store associate if they can also tape the box inside as well because it was opened and I didn't want the item to be swiveled around and fall out inside of the box. He simply said no, they can only tape the main box. Well well, I'll bring my business to another UPS store next time. read more

The staff was super helpful and accommodating yesterday when I came in. I brought in a big box that needed shipping to the west coast. Nick, the associate there helped me big time by adjusting the size of the box (there was a lot of empty room so he broke it down for me) so my shipping costs were much cheaper. He saved me $$$$$ and was super patient about it. I am really appreciative of his time and efforts on my behalf. EDIT: The actual notary visit was quick and efficient, but as mentioned previously, they don't use the online appointment system (you can still book, but they don't honor the appointment). NOTARY APPOINTMENT ONLINE HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THIS STORE. I really never had a problem here before, but I was supposed to have a document notarized. I walk in, notary is out on emergency. Fine. I asked if they could've called me since I made the appointment online. He said that he can't see phone numbers and they have no control over the system. Best part is, no apology and really no care for the customer. Some people arrange childcare to get errands completed, but clearly the employee in this store doesn't care for other people's time. Being the only UPS store around and having no consequences for poor service results in this behavior. So if you need notary service, you can take a chance and stand in their horrendous line, or go elsewhere. read more

This UPS store is the second busiest UPS store in NYC if that tells you anything. Yes the line can be long, but once you're in the tiny store, William will help you get your packages shipped for the lowest price possible. He is extremely competent and helpful during what can be a stressful experience. I was shipping 10+ boxes and William helped me get it all packed and done in less than 10 minutes. He even helped me consolidate boxes to help bring the cost of shipping everything down which was very thoughtful and appreciated. Thank you UPS Williamsburg and William!!!! read more

This is the worst UPS store in NY, and possibly the United States. I've dropped two packages off here and had them provide the packaging (at very steep prices), only for the recipient to inform me of bad packing and damage to the product (see attached photos). UPS should remove the ability of the store to franchise and prevent further damage to its reputation. read more

I go here whenever I need to make returns. Precovid I would send my packages here and pick it up. Now it's just mainly for returns. I always pack and label my packages so never actually paid for shipping here. Never had a problem here even when it was busy and there was a huge line (I always get a receipt so I wait on the line to drop off my packages) . read more

File under non Covid review ... drop off $2000 piece of sensitive equipment, request that it be packaged carefully, told "no problem" and attendant just throws to the side and says "next!". Reassuring. Yes, I could package my own but why even offer the service if there is no guarantee that I'm not walking out only to have my shipment be thrown in a box with 2 peanuts? Receipt doesn't show shipping address (as many other stores do) - no record given (or ability to see) what attendant actually typed in for address. Opened a few minutes late then when I finally was able to enter the store he told me the printer does not handle flash drive printing and I would have to use the computer at a minimum of $3.50 for the first page. I had a DHL package to ship and received excellent and very helpful service at this location. The line is long but it moves fast. This location is servicing an extremely large area with lots of amazon returns etc. so please show patience and understanding and know the line will move quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful with my DHL package. If you haven't shipped DHL before then you should know it's a very confusing process to say the least. I highly recommend using this UPS drop off location. read more

This is the worst ups location I have ever been too. Long wait times every time. Horrible customer service all around. We brought in three packages and with the preprinted labels. The gentlemen working told us he wouldn't tape them up (they were taped just needed a little reinforcing) and to buy tape and do it ourselves. So we did and then asked if we could just leave them with the labels. He said no use your tape and tape it up. I have been to other locations and have never had a issue before. Save yourself the trouble & time and find another location. read more

Great service, top of the line customer care. This store is always super busy, often with long queues outside the store, and besides the incredible workload, they are always super efficient, professional and friendly. You can tell they're smiling at you even behind the masks. I wouldn't go to another store, even if closer to my location. I don't mind the line because I know I'll have a great service when my turn comes. I only wish, in better days, that UPS could afford adding an extra assistant just to make their work less stressful because I feel for them. It looks like they are a bit overloaded. This place was as yelped. I spent $50 to next day an envelope to CA. It got no scan and arrived 60 hours later. (I just went to another UPS to find out what they would have done. ) I went in there the next day to find out if the package was sent and there was no sign of it. Minutes later I was finally able to track it via the tracking number. It was still in NY! No one picked up the call. I went in person. They took my # but never called and never told me they'd refund me. Turns out they should call and create the refund form so that UPS Corp sends me a check. It didn't happen. Lesson learned: don't cheat on your usual UPS store. Not all are created. Update: the refund check arrived. They gave me $45 back because I guess they don't refund taxes! read more
