Dropped off two Amazon return packages during a busy period. I was told to leave them and that they would be scanned later. One package was scanned; the second was not. When I called the store, staff insisted both packages must have had the same tracking number, which was not possible as they were going to different destinations. Corporate customer service later confirmed the second package was never scanned and was still at the store. Attempts to call the store again resulted in voicemail and being disconnected after about 10 seconds. Poor communication, lack of ownership, and frustrating customer service. read more

I had a previous issue where I thought I was charged too much, and indeed going to the store may result in higher prices than if perhaps you book online. That being said this UPS location contacted me back and the issue was resolved. I really appreciate them contacting me back, that shows they care about their clients and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. read more

I had a weird experience here. I recently bought an Xbox One and I've had the common Kinect power issue. Microsoft sent out a replacement and I wasn't home for the delivery so I had to pick it up here. When I walked in I mentioned that i had a package but I forgot to bring the delivery notice with me. The staff member asked for ID, but the way she asked me was like I was putting up a fight or something. It seemed very confrontational. I gave her my ID and I signed for the package. The deal with Microsoft is that I had to swap the old one for the new one and send the old one back. I used the store's little table to repackage the box and stuck the return notice on the outside. When I went to hand it back to the clerk she seemed even more confused as to what was going on. I wouldn't say this was a negative experience, just a bizarre one. Its great that there is a UPS store in a convenient place so you don't have to go up to the depot by the airport to get your package, but I think I might need a return trip here to figure out of the customer service is good or not. read more

I ordered a mattress through Amazon and UPS was the company chosen by Amazon to deliver my mattress. My mattress was due to be delivered on Monday July 10th, however, no mattress arrived and no information was given as to if a delivery was attempted, if UPS would try to deliver again or where I could pick up my mattress (if it was a pick up location). Living in an apartment complex I understand it adds another layer of complexity to delivering a package; however my experience with other delivery companies resulted in the delivery person phoning me to inform me they were delivering my package, or leaving notice in the form of a slip in my mailbox or an email to my email address provided. If other local and national companies have no problem delivering to my apartment, why cannot a large international corporation like UPS deliver an item to my address? I have spent the last week trying to chase down where this mattress was located. I finally have it set to pick it up tomorrow Tuesday July 8th, 8 days after the mattress was supposed to be delivered. Furthermore, when I called customer service to pass on my experience and to inquire how this situation can be prevented in the future, I was greeted with rude and apathetic customer service. I found this experience to be very unprofessional and leaves me with no confidence in UPS being able to deliver packages to my home. read more

I've been here a few times. Service is always friendly. One time I had to pay $5 for a box for shipping, which seems reasonable.... Except I saw her pull it from their recycle. The box had clearly been used many times. I am happy they are reusing, as it's better for the environment, but being charged $5 for it seems quite outlandish. read more

I had to write a review because the people there are fantastic. I was sending a package of used princess dresses to my niece that I had picked up on Kijiji to northern BC. I was told there was a UPS store here and went in to inquire about prices. I expressed to the woman that I wasn't sure if it would be cheaper using UPS or the Post Office as I wasn't worried about the timing of the package. The woman actually looked up the post office prices for me to compare. I ended up using the post office as it was cheaper for snail mail. However, if I have something that is time sensitive, I will definitely go to The UPS Store! Fabulous service! read more

Ordered BBQ online. UPS guy didn't show up. When called and asked, he delivered it but left it on door didn't even knock the door. No phone call, no email to inform us about delivery. WORST SERVICE... WORST COMPANY... NEVER order anything ONLINE from them. VERY DISAPPOINTED.. read more

The lady in this store is very pleasant and helpful. My problem is with the delivery person. We live in an apartment building and this delivery person has not yet managed to get a package to us, even though we are at home, waiting, on the specified days. No notices of missed deliveries are ever left. I don't believe he ever came into our building, just fudged a time on his records. After three days, I had to go to DeWinton to pick up the last package. It was very difficult to find the UPS agent there and I only found it by accident when I stopped at a gas station to ask for directions and saw the little UPS sticker on the door. The address emailed to me by UPS had the numbers transposed so it was only by sheer luck that I found it! There are often notices in our foyer left by FedEx and Purolator but I've never seen one from UPS. I believe the guy is just too lazy to bother with apartment buildings. read more
