I spent $2,348 shipping my precious items from my mother's home in Texas to her new home in Hawaii. They assured me that they would individually wrap each of the precious French Haviland china that were my great-great-grandmother's. I even gave them a roll of bubble wrap in case they didn't have enough. Instead they piled them all in one box, with stacks of dishes that I had wrapped only once temporarily just to get them to their store. They also put my mom's walker in the same box. It was the laziest, most pathetic attempt at wrapping that I have ever seen. I insured everything. It was being shipped to my mother's tiny apartment where there is no place to store a box of that size. When I go to get some compensation for all of the broken pieces (of which there can never be enough and I don't need the money, I'd just like acknowledgement that they didn't do their job), they say they need to inspect the package. It isn't the package's fault, or those that handled it later in transit, it is their lack of wrapping pieces individually and protecting them from one another. If you have anything fragile or precious, avoid this store at all costs. Never again will I trust UPS. read more

These guys are thieves, they will stole your valuable items and call it lost and try to give you $100. One day I will set them up by putting AirTag on my package. I report them 2 times to the authorities but for the luck of evidence, they couldn't do nothing but I will give them enough evidences to put these scammer of of business and put them to where they belong to. I came here to get something printed, as I have since this location opened many, many years ago. I've never had a problem with getting that handled, that is, until today. The associate who waited on me couldn't have been happier to not assist. After gleefully telling me that they no longer offer that service for " personal documents", she directed me to join a group of unsocially-distanced people who were huddled together and waiting to print from one computer that definitely wasn't being sanitized between users. This behavior would be rude and negligent enough if things were normal right now, but we're *still* living through a pandemic. And I was here to do the same thing a month ago, and wasn't asked to handle it myself. I just left, and the associate obnoxiously told me to have a nice day after refusing to help. I went to the FedEx Store across the highway, and had it done for free. Good customer service is rapidly disappearing in Cedar Hill, and sadly, this UPS store is not immune. read more

Recently I had to get a Po Box so I decided to try UPS. They offer a Po Box we're it can be a street address which is what I was looking for at the time. It cost just a little more that a regular Post Box but I prefer a street address. This place can get really crowded but I have always had someone handle my concerns in a timely manner. I have notice they have more younger employees than I would have expected. (High School) However the job gets done so I have no major complaints. While Charles was providing me with excellent customer service, I witnessed 2 other employees doing the same. I am big on customer service, and I was thoroughly impressed. I went in about 6:30 today to return some items. I had my 1 year old daughter with me. As soon as I walk in some loud ass girl behind the counter yelled at my daughter say "aht aht stop all that crying!" And when she scared my daughter from yelling at her everyone behind the counter proceeded to laugh saying "ooh look she stopped crying" I didn't say anything just to keep the peace and complete my transaction. But this girl was soooo unprofessional(she wasn't the one helped me) I don't know what her problem was but she was entirely too comfortable speaking to my child that way. read more

Thanks to a misunderstanding over the phone about which cable box was malfunctioning, I received a brand new lightweight gateway box from AT&T. As a result, I had to mail the old one back. The instructions I received in the mail and over the phone were to drop the old box off at a UPS Store and they would ship it for me for free. Simple enough, right? This little store was busy when I went in but my wait was relatively short. Thomas knew exactly what I was there for when he saw the cable box. I was relieved because the cable technician warned me that some UPS Store employees have been charging customers $10-$15 for shipping. Thomas took down my information, filled out the necessary forms, and printed out a receipt for me. I was very pleased with this UPS Store location and will be back in the future. read more

I went to the store with my son to have a form notarized and to send a package which contained a necklace in the box. I paid for two day shipping and it was supposed to arrive on a Friday. The package was delayed and did not arrive until Monday. When I spoke to the recipient she sent a picture of what she received and the necklace was missing. Someone took the necklace prior to shipping which was why it was late. I was also told that it will take 5-8 days to receive a check to refund me the over $30 shipping fee. It has been over two weeks and still nothing. They keep telling me that the paperwork is still being processed. This has created a huge inconvenience and no one seems to have a sense of importance regarding this issue. read more

I sent my visa application and passport via UPS (required). Upon completion of my visa process, they returned my package (passport and visa application) to the UPS store for me to pick up. My package was delivered to the store at 10:10am (signed by one of the representatives at the front desk) and I came to pick it up at 3:15pm. When I arrived to the store they couldn't find my package. 10 minutes later, the manager told me that they gave my package to another customer that came in. I have no idea who this person is. I have been waiting over an hour (the manager told me to wait because the person is going to return my package in 30 minutes) and I still do not have my package. This person has my passport and other confidencial information. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and will never conduct business at this UPS again. read more

I took a ground package at 4:13 pm on March 3 and decided to upgrade it to 2 day. I paid $33 and went on my way. The package wasn't given to UPS until the next day so my package didn't arrive until day 3. The store promised to mail me a refund which I never received. I had a great experience at this UPS store. I needed a photo to be enlarged which had a specific size. I needed the paper to be 11x17, but the actual image to be 8x11.875. The man who helped me, Manual, knew exactly how to do it keeping the same ratio that I needed. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Items being damaged, sent out to claims for and adjustment and made it clear I could get the item back and it got destroyed without my consent. I don't even no where to start with all this... I originally went in to get my headlight for my car sent out to get refurbished. I asked for a 2 way shipping because I would be sending them for the service and the shop would send it back. The new employee asked how much the package is. I responded with at least 1000 and before signed I asked again do I have insurance for 1000 if something gets damage? I was told yes you have coverage up to 1000 so i signed the receipt. Once my headlights arrived at the auto shop the sealer informed me there was no return shipping this was the first issue. So i paid another 64 dollars to have it sent back not a big issue at this point I had 128 dollars in shipping. Once the package arrived to my house it was damaged. I called my store and started a damaged claim. Before I started a claims I asked the employee will I have the option to get my headlights back no matter what happens? The employee was not for sure and told me they would have to call claims and ask. The store called me back and said yes you will have the option to get your package back no matter what happens and we put it in the notes that you want the package back after the claim. So the package was schudule for pickup. Once the pckage was picked up I again asked the driver will I be able to get this package back? The driver told me yes you will have the option to have this package sent back to you I see it here in the notes so the drivers packaged and tood the items to the claims center he told me it would be a few days. I waited two weeks before calling and checking on my package the UPS store had no idea or record of it and kept telling me to call the claims number so i did. The first time I spent over 7 hours of people telling me I need to make a claims online and have the package picked up. I explained the claims has already been procseed and the package is already picked up from my house. At this point I woudl get transfered again and again t oevneutrally someone just hanging up on me. I waited a week before calling again and they told me to speak with my UPS store so I went up there and spoke to the manager. The manager told me my package has been destroyed and I did not put insurance on the package and it only covers 100 dollars and we only can refund 23 dollars of my shipping cost. So I lost an item over 1000 dollars for me to replace and my shipping cost alone was 128 dollars. The manager told me to talk to the claims manager or supervisor again so I did. They told me they would look into the package and get back with me in 2-3 days this was over a week ago. I called again without any different outcomes. At this point it has been over a month i have spent over 20 hours on the phone giving my tracking number to people to have them transfer me or hang up on me. And I am out over 1200 dollars in items and shipping costs. It would not be such a issue if I got my package back but it was destroyed without my connect.. read more
