Tyler assured me that the job would be completed by 4 PM, which is why I agreed to move forward and paid for the service upfront. I even tipped Tyler as a gesture of appreciation for good customer service, expecting that my order would be handled responsibly. Unfortunately, I later received a call saying that the job cannot be completed until Monday. This is completely unacceptable. I came to the store early specifically to ensure the job would be done today, and now my schedule and plans have been disrupted because of a lack of follow-through. If I had known from the start that same-day service was not possible, I would have gone elsewhere. What makes this worse is that this seems to be part of a recurring issue at this location. Several recent reviews mention service and reliability problems, which suggests this is not an isolated incident but a pattern. OfficeMax is a national brand, and with that comes the expectation of professionalism, accountability, and dependable service. Paying for a service, being promised a same-day completion, and then having that promise broken is unacceptable and undermines trust in the brand. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could contact me to address this situation. Please provide the appropriate corporate customer service or escalation contact so this matter can be resolved.
