Charged nearly double! Robbed. Not only did employee number 176471 (no name given, no surprise) charge me an outrageous amount to ship two boxes a short distance, they also added inches to the dimensions, shifting the boxes into a higher pricing tier. Print out your postage and labels at home, or you are likely to pay $70 for something that should cost you $30 at this location. (They increased the box sizes and "billable weight" when keying in the order, be aware!!) read more

Employee's here are very lazy and have a care free attitude on the phone and in person. They seem allergic to providing any type of help and incapable of answering almost anything. Extremely disappointed with the poor customer service from the staff of the Belmont location. Upper level management from regional corporate UPS needs to do an investigation and provide more supervision because the employees are lacking severly. read more

There is a very angry elderly woman here today, darker complexion, short hair who has the WORST attitude and customer service: - Yells at her staff, raises her voice at them, and scoffs at them to shut the door in the back because it's "freezing" - Asks me a question I don't understand and continues to roll her eyes at me because I wasn't aware of Amazon's new program - Gives me an attitude when I told her I had 5 codes to scan, it's not my fault Amazon gave me 5 codes on one return. That is out of my control. I'm sure she's the owner of this location and , if you are, I genuinely suggest you put yourself in the back of the store because the anger you put out into the world should not have to be tolerated by your customers. They lost pkg 2 of a 2 pkg delivery and told me I had to contact Amazon then the person told me "I don't personally have your pkg" then hung up on me when I told him "Don't be ridiculous. Place sucks. Small space with inept, rude staff members. I visited the store to mail a document and to print something from my email. I was directed to a malfunctioning, old Acer computer to print out my document. After twenty minutes a clerk unwillingly came to help print out my document. When she failed to get the printer to work, I asked for a refund. The other clerk immediately got upset with my request and called the loser store owner. Guy goes by Champ, but is a real loser. Instead of refunding me for the computer time and failed print outs, Champ asked me to email my document. Cheap fool preferred to waste more of my time than to refund my money. Guy attempted to get his outdated system to work remotely and after 20 more minutes refunded me my money. read more

Other locations nearby are so nice and kind and helpful - I only visit this location as a last resort. Whether you read through this review or not, remember that there are TONS of other options for notary and shipping services within a mile of this store. Don't give this man your money! I contacted this UPS location this morning and spoke with the owner, Champ. I inquired if they covered notary services to which he confirmed they did. I asked if they were available right away this morning and he said he was. I asked if there was anything I needed to bring or prepare for the notary service, he said no. I told him I was on my way in. When I arrived on site about 10 minutes later, this location is extremely difficult to find with very limited visual sight lines to their store signage. I was greeted by a young man who was very welcoming and pleasant. I asked about their notary service and he asked me straight away, "Have you signed your document already?" I responded that I had. He could tell this was going to be an issue. He summoned Champ who was a mean looking older man. Champ looked at me and said simply, "I've you've signed it, I cannot notarize." I asked if he had internet access so I could print a new form. He just glared over at a computer station and pointed. A simple "Hello" or "Welcome" or "Good morning" can go so far in a customer experience. You have to pay an up front fee of $20 to use the internet and you're refunded based on how long you use the service. I swiped my card and printed out the document. That cost $3.50. As I'm filling out the new form, Champ comes over and places his notary book and tool down and says, "Give me your ID." I provide him the ID and getting a little frustrated with the lack of customer service shared with him, "It would have been nice if you provide the customer instruction when he calls to inquire about the service." He grunted and said, "You didn't ask." I replied that I felt like it would improve the customer experience if he were more approachable and forthcoming about the service. He closed up his notary book, gave me a glare, and said, "I don't have do this service for you" before simply walking away from me. I was in shock at the lack of service and advised him that was no way to treat a potential customer and asked him if that was worth a negative review. He just shrugged. I then asked him for a refund for my $3.50 (a request on principal, not financial). He acknowledged me and seemed like he was just about to concede, but then paused, looked at me and said, "You're going to give me a negative review anyway so, No, I won't give your money back. Leave." There are literally dozens of options within a mile of this location. Save your money and go for somewhere with a stronger customer experience and convenience for parking and ease of services. read more

Where do you go for affordable lamination, boatloads of copies, friendly service and a notary?! This UPS store, kids. Yeah, I do actually use all those services and, frankly, I've been to other franchised office stores and this one wins out every time. They are kind, helpful and affordable. They don't give me the run around or make me wait 15 minutes to get two sheets of paper laminated! I was pretty stoked when I found out that they have a notary on staff, as I'm not super comfortable heading to some random dude's house to get a contract notarized. Creepy deepy. No, no - at this UPS store their notary is sunny and quick! I had a contract notarized for $5. Sweet! I will continue to bring my office needs over to this store - while it's a national franchise, these people know what they're doing and are really involved with their community. NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER USE THS LOCATION FOR ANYTHNG!!!!! On May 15, I went to this location to send a package to my daughter in the Netherlands. The entire experience was terrible. The owner made me open my package and he rifled through the contents many times, handling all the items. He told me it needed to be repackaged into a different box. I asked if I could do this myself, because I hated that he was going through all my things like that. He would not let me. Told me that this was his job, to take care of things like that. So, I let it go but i was mad. Why would he be so intrusive as to handle all my items and unpack my box??!! Now, a month later and my daughter still doesn't have her package. So, I call to get the tracking number and track the package. IT NEVER LEFT HIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!! USPS never picked up this item from his store. I am beyond livid. I told him I want a refund and the money for the contents in the package. He says he owes me nothing and refuses to give me either. USPS never received this package, which is 100% apparent in the online tracking. It's indisputable!! The label was printed and then the package disappeared at this man's UPS Store.. He, or his employees either stole the package or they threw it away, but it never made it out f that store. He owes me $246.40 and I will be calling the Better Business Bureau and posting a review in ever area possible so that no other people are taken advantage of by this crook and a very shady business man. read more

First I was told to print my label myself, 5 minutes later, the printer it prints to isn't online, then I'm told to email the labels to the store, that also doesn't work, finally the store clerk scans the labels. This is the best UPS store I've ever visited. The owner always lets me in before they open at 8am and is so nice. I don't understand some of the negative reviews here, this is by far the most efficient and well-operated shop in the area. You can be in and out in a matter of seconds, and you are always greeted with a smile. I frequent this store in the early mornings and around lunch time, so I can only speak for those times - but it's never crowded and I have never waited in line. read more

I really like this UPS Store - all other UPS Stores should take note of this place. The franchise owners are super friendly. Came in there to get 39472938 (23) documents notarized and literally everybody that walked in to check their PO boxes during that time got a warm "Hello, how are you doing [insert person's name]" and a smile. It's like the Cheers of UPS Stores. One dude just literally just popped his head in to chat with one of the owners about the busy season. Thought I ran into an impasse bc of some NC notary law thing, but the notary service chick explained it clearly, expressing much sympathy and recognizing that these documents had to go out today. She had a solid (legal) work-around and I was able to send out all the documents. Whew. Aside from the overall superb customer service here, a couple of nice benefits of this place include infinite parking and affordable notarization ($5 per).
