    No sense of urgency and it gets even more embarassing when they try to condescendingly "school" you…read moreon how to pick up a package then you school them on how to do their jobs properly since they're the ones doing it wrong. Lady cut me off as I'm trying to give the tracking number for a reason and then has to do a walk of shame when she can't find a package with my name on it and we end up doing the process I started off trying to do. Then tries to condescendingly say "I don't know how they do it, but you need an ID" in-order to save face when my lanyard with my clearly visible ID for authentication has been around my neck THE ENTIRE TIME! I point to my ID and she shuts her mouth. Just embarassing. Also, somehow four people in line, each with one small package (3 out of the 4 had prepaid labels) turned in a fifteen minute wait. Do better. By the way I've been to pretty much every FedEx in the Chicagoland area. You're the only FedEx that asks for IDs before retrieving packages. Every single other one asks for the last four of the tracking because it's faster, more efficient and you get to see what type of recipient it is so then you can proceed to ask for the proper verification. No wonder this place is so slow...it's terribly run.

    I shipped an iPhone to trade in with Apple using a pre-paid FedEx label. However, I noticed that…read morethe package wasn't moving for a few days after it was dropped off at this FedEx location. When it finally arrived at Apple, they said the package had arrived sealed, but the iPhone was missing. It appears that someone either at this FedEx location or during shipment stole my iPhone, which was supposed to provide me with a $1000 credit towards a new iPhone. Apple eventually covered the cost at their own expense, but I wasted many hours being transferred to multiple departments and being placed on hold due to the unethical actions of some FedEx employees. This location should be investigated and monitored.

And 97% of the time, here's what transpires: 1-a long wait time 2-$$$ 3-very poor customer relations The most recent encounter involved me waiting while the employees chose to speak with each other instead of asking me what i needed for quite sone time. I finally had to ask the security guard to please try to get their attention for service. When I finally got some service, not one bit of expression crossed her face. Interesting. They need to take lessons from UPS across the street bc (see their yelp reviews). I don't recommend them unless you absolutely have to send something by Fedex.

    This location used to be good; but it has gotten progressively worse over the years. I used to get…read moregreat customer service here; however I've noticed within the last 6 months the quality of employees has gone down. I go there to use the print center occasionally; in adddtion, to get office supplies and for Amazon service (for pick up and returns). Staff is slow, surly and unhelpful; with zero interpersonal skills. The icing on the cake for me (why I will NOT be shopping there anymore) occured yesterday. I went to drop off an Amazon return; stood there for 5 minutes; rang the bell on the counter to indicate I'm waiting. Still no response after about another 5 minutes; rang it again. This time a large, surly gentleman yelled from another aisle "I'm coming." No apology to say, "sorry I'll be there in a moment......" He then finally came (still no apology) and mumbled (without making eye contact) return code..... He looked at it, then said "this is not a return for Staples. At which point I showed him my phone where it clearly said Staples return. He then mumbled "oooh" (still no apology). I then asked "do you have everything you need (could not WAIT to get out of there....); he mumbled yeah.... I went upstairs to ask the cashier to speak with the Manager. Imagine my surprise when she told me the guy who treated me so rudely WAS the manager Adam. Game over; I'm done with Staples. And people wonder why brick and mortar stores are doing so badly; it's online for me from now on. And I will once again start taking my Amazon returns to either my neighborhood Whole Foods or the FEDEX store, like I previously did.
