This location does not honor Amazon's green returns. Each and every time I bring a green return into this store, they give me a condescending look and tell me to go home and properly package the item. They also offer to sell me a box, and they say that if I want to use their tape, it would cost $1.00. When I ask if they are aware of Amazon's green return, the one that specifically instructs customers not to package items, they shake their heads, roll their eyes, and tell me they have no idea what I am talking about. Then they repeat what they just said 30 seconds prior: we don't package items for free. Below is the amazon policy the owner and staff at this store refuse to honor: "The UPS Store Dropoff - no box or label needed You do not need to package your return or print a shipping label. The UPS Store will pack, label, and ship your return for free. We'll email you a return shipping code. Print out or show it on your smartphone to a store associate at The UPS Store. Printer not required." UPDATE: The owner has responded to my comment. She wrote over a thousand words. Yet, she still has not addressed the central question, which is: 1. Do you or do you not honor Amazon's green return policy? a. If you don't, then why? Is it because you are not aware it exists? Or is it because you flat out refuse? b. Does your refusal to honor Amazon's green return policy violate the terms of your franchise agreement with the franchior, UPS? read more

Went in and was asked "how can we help you". I stated, "I'd like to return this ". Person said again, "how can I help you"? and both employees started laughing at me. I don't know their procedures. Maybe ask, "do you have a return code"? or "does it already have a label"? Don't treat people like their idiots because they don't know your procedure! read more

The WORST customer service ever! I have had a mailbox for 10 years with UPS Store, at other locations. this store # 0130, on McMullen Booth in Clearwater, is the very worst. They don't offer to assist with heavy packages. I also asked for help with I-9 documents, which I needed to give to my work at home employer. All they needed to do was to verify that I am the person w/ the two forms of identification, copy the ID's, then give their virtual signature. The girl, who was a notary, did not even read the instructions on what the procedure was. She just abruptly said, "I can't do this. I've never done this before." And that was that. She didn't try to understand when I explained...she had made up her mind she was not going to do it. I left in a complete huff, went to the UPS Store on Gulf to Bay, who happily complied. They said they have done many of these. They were pleasant and super efficient. Too bad I have a contract w/ this store for another 6 months. I will probably go w/ the Gulf to Bay store next. Good customer service is NOT telling someone you can't do something just because you've never done it before. FInd out HOW to do it. At least listen to the customer, read the paperwork they have brought so you can GRASP what they are requesting. She was clueless...and very rude. No apologies, explanations, nothin'. I am a CSR manager. This girl would have been off of my team a long long time ago. Or she would have been retrained, for sure. read more
