This UPS Store is hit or miss with its counter staff. The young man is exceptional and a big help, however there's a young lady with two tone colored hair with a serious attitude problem. Never nice and always rude on a lot more than one occasion. She must be related to the owner, because no business would normally put up with school a sour person working at your business. The parking outside is a disaster. Poorly lit at night and many times very hard to find a space. I would never ever recommend this UPS Store. Choose another location before this place. read more

The older white male is absolutely horrible. He huffs and rolls his eyes and makes comments under his breath about exiting customers. Now should someone call him out on this I'm sure they'd be in the wrong. Catching the hands is not just for the young and nimble. Other than that it's the same as any other UPS store. Parking is not good as many of the customers in the plaza don't have the physical ability to turn to look for oncoming traffic. Do yourself a favor and go to FedEx up the road. read more

I came here on my lunch break to send back some Amazon returns. This is not my go to ups but again I figured "why not save some time since there's one right here." Little did I know the female handling my returns, who was blasting reggaeton music might I add, lost my packages. It's been over a week now and Amazon only gave me a partial refund because 3 items were never shipped out! Had she been working as hard as she was dancing, maybe this all could have been avoided. I brought in my Amazon return they scanned the barcode and i got a receipt, and that's all i have, my package was never registered into UPS tracking i have no idea where it is and the employees tell me its left their store but tracking # says ''The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible''. It's been two weeks now and have no idea where it is and i haven't received my refund because they (Amazon) needs to get the package first. read more

The customer service here is null. They charge you everything from having to buy tape even if you need a small piece to tape your package shut, to not taking UPS account numbers resulting in having to pay out of pocket when your company would've otherwise paid for the shipment. They are rude and half of the people don't know what they're doing and admit they "don't know how to ship things". This is a disgrace compared to the courtesy you get at the UPS store in Belleville or ANY FedEx location that does not charge for tape and knows how to utilize their own companies accounts. read more

I always use this store for my Amazon returns. they are always friendly and polite even though at times they can be busy. I see people say Amazon didn't show their return ....that is not the fault of the store as the owner explained. Always keep your receipt until you get your credit ,.. as long as you have it showing you brought it in to ship Amazon will credit you.... read more

I made an appointment for paper shredding. The cost was outrageous! And once you pay you are directed to a slotted bin with a padlock on it. You pass your papers through a slot. No shredding done on site. The bin was jammed with papers and couldn't fit anymore. Dennis - completely uncooperative and NOT helpful. Never going back. read more

UPS lost an expRess overnight package. TheN the gave us the runaround and only refunded half oof our $98 shipping fee. And it took five month to do it. That doesn't even cover the crazy amount of time we spent on the phone with headquarters and the multiple trips we made to the CLifton location. We will bE reversing the credit card payment and filing acBBB complaint. All this to avoid refunding $98. Someone better step up and refund the full amount. The item was delivered to the wrong house on the wrong street. UPS never located the item. A neighbor finally found it and bought it to me 2-3 days later. By then I had had to replace the contents of the package. Plus we've now spent tens of hours on the phone and traveling back and forth to local store. If the full amount isn't refunded at this time, I will reverse the charges through our credit card and file a Better Business Bureau complaint. The national office sends us to the local shop, and the local shop directs us to the national office. I'm tired of playing games, being lied to, and wasting my valuable time! It's about integrity. Avoid this UPS Store at all costs! They are total Frauds!!! On Sept. 26th 2020, I purchased a used and very rare Sony 2-piece CD Player ( CDP-R1, DAS-R1). As a collector of vintage electronics, I've been looking for this set for over 30 years. In 1987, the set sold for $8000.00. I bid and won them on ebay. The seller gave me the option of having them" Professionally Packed " and shipped through this local UPS store, #2608 in Clifton NJ as he had no box and packing. I agreed and told him I'd pay the additional $152.00 to get them Professionally ( as per their web site ) packed and shipped. On Oct. 1st., the two players were delivered in a thin, single-wall box with two holes from the players rubbing up against it, multiple sides were crushed in and upon picking up the box, the contents "shook" inside and I heard pieces rolling around in the box. I opened the box and found the two heavy (37+ lbs ea.) units were placed one on top of the other, one of them upside down AND without any protection between them, only wrapped in a thin plastic bag. The players sat resting on the bottom of the box, one on top of the other with no protection. Only a few plastic air pockets were thrown in the bag. All 4 wood side panels were damaged, both top plates mauled, bent RCA connectors, frayed power cord and missing parts. NOW FOR THE WORST! The next day, I made a claim, submitting it to UPS corporate. I also spoke with a store representative who would tell me the box and units were packed by the ebay seller. What? We paid $120 for shipping PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $30 FOR PACKING! After waiting a month with no reply, I called UPS Corporate whom told me the claim was denied due to"insufficient packing". YUP! Except it would be UPS Store 2608 THAT DID THE PACKING AND TRIED TO BLAME IT ON THE EBAY SELLER! Liars! After proving to UPS Corporate the UPS Store #2608 packed it, 6 weeks later, I got a check that after my reimbursement for shipping charges, would amount to $69. They also lied to UPS by creating a shipping label that would be close to 10 lbs less then the box actually weighed, saving them on shipping charges. And UPS didn't seem to care either. They just go on giving these frauds there franchise giving them a worst name then they already have. Look at all the horrible reviews given to this store. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT UPS STORE #2608, CLIFTON N.J.!!! Shame on UPS for continuing to letting them have the franchise. read more

Went in to drop off a package no hi back to me just took my box. I've never had an interaction with any cashier or service worker that was literally no words. I don't even know if I said bye because it felt super awkward. I understand people are shit around the holidays but at least acknowledge people who are coming to your job. It felt very rude and uncomfortable. I've worked in the service industry and retail so this behavior is really odd. I don't recommend this place for passport photos. The person who took the picture was stressed out and handed me a pic that looked like it was taken in a fun house mirror. It was rejected due to distortion and teeth showing. The second time I went, I was incorrectly told to tuck my hair behind my ears, a second bad picture, there was still a bit of distortion, although not as bad as the first pic. The two different people that helped me were not trained on how to take a passport photo and the customer service was bad. I went over to CVS on Claremont Ave in Montclair and they have software that screens the picture for all the passport criteria. They retake the picture until it passes. Then they hand you a "certificate for biometeric passport photos" so you can be sure it will be accepted. Dana helped me out and her customer service is amazing. I recommend CVS Pharmacy in Montclair for your next passport photo. read more

Girl at counter could care less when i asked if she can match price she was useless couldn't even work with me on price.. This place is not consistent. Sometimes they charge a $1 to tape a box and other times they don't. I was charged to tape my box and then the rep didn't want to tape the box right away even though I reminded her I paid for the service. She (Hispanic curly hair rep didn't catch her name) proceeded to make me wait until she took the other 2 customers who were on line even though the other rep could have taken them. Worst experience I've ever had shipping anything. I sold a vintage bike on eBay and since the condition of the bike was one of the main selling points I decided to take it here to be professionally packaged. I also insured it for $2,000 (the amount it sold for on eBay). While I was there, one employee even bragged about how well they package things. The bike never arrived to the recipient because the box and bike were severely damaged. When the bike was shipped back to the store I had sent it from, it took weeks to actually get the bike back from them as they claimed they were dealing with the insurance. I finally received the bike and found that for some reason the pedals were missing and no one at the store could explain why. On top of this they still will not pay me the insurance money and claim I have to get an estimate for how much it will cost to repair it. This is ridiculous as the bike is vintage and repairing it would tarnish the condition which, once again, was the main selling point of the bike. The bike was shipped two months ago and it has still not been settled. I've had to refund the eBay buyer out of pocket so I am out of $2,000 plus shipping fees, which it seems I may not get back. This has been the worst experience I have had in any type of business to be honest. I work retail and I am always understanding of businesses that may have employees that just have a bad day or are new or training- and to be patient. I walk into this establishment with a prelabeled return and all I needed was a box. The person at the front desk addressed me and I clearly stated I needed a box. He became overwhelmed and then kept yelling for someone to get out of the back room to help him. He then mixed up my order which was already simple. He then went for his manager and shared I gave him attitude. I have never been disrespectful and this was not the experience I needed having an assistant manager coming out to "reprimand" me just because his employee did not know how to ring up a box or process a return. I'm disappointed and empathetic to the new employee that he will not receive the proper training he needs in customer service to provide the best experience for the customer . This business has a disorganized and not customer centric team in it. I will be driving an extra 10 minutes to avoid this store !!!! read more
