This review is probably a bit overdue, but having used other UPS Stores for mailbox services, this is the standout. They have excellent service here and always a pleasure to deal with. Jesse and Ike (he has recently moved) have just been great from the very beginning. If I owned my own business, I'd hire these guys myself. It has also been a convenient location with King Soopers in the same parking lot as well as an adult beverage store that has a magnetic attraction to my wallet. I'm 70 this year and things are getting harder. I buy most household goods from Amazon. The return info from Amazon was confusing. The young lady that was running the store was so helpful. She showed me my return info was incorrect, there isn't a Whole Foods within miles of me and on one I said I had a box and label and I didn't. I stayed there and reset my refund/return info. In the meantime the store had filled up. She took care of everyone, one at a time, in a timely manner yet no one was rushed. We then finished up my returns. Yesterday I went back again and she showed me how to use the self service area, I would recommend this UPS store over any of the others, she treats the customer with care, especially the Seniors. WOW, I have never walked into a store, only to have the person behind the counter sneer and yell at me! I walked in, unsure of how to send something from Amazon back. I had the labels printed. As I waited my turn, standing next to another customer, the woman behind the counter, (long dark hair) said, "What do you need?", as if I was her child and she was too busy to be bothered. She then told me that I needed one box for both items, and that would cost .. this was not helpful. The customer next to me graciously offered a small box to me, and her tape. She looked at the UPS employee and rolled her eyes, as if to tell me that she was experiencing the same thing. If you are THAT unhappy at your job, QUIT! Please! Or.. maybe you need a boyfriend? Not very pleased with my experience at this location. Staff was a bit curt. UPS in general is very expensive and this store offers nothing to make the experience worth it. They don't even offer UPS envelopes - you have to buy one of theirs'. read more

They always only have one person working. They will help customers who need to print 100 pages and ignore the people who are just dropping off. Every time I come there is a line out the door of people trying to drop off. They need to hire more people of have a better process for people with quick fixes. read more

I have been using this particular UPS store for the last eight years. With one exception of a period when they had a manager and staff that simply didn't care enough to open the store on time - which only lasted for about three months - this store has been exceptional and it's quality, it's service, and it's personal. I have never had a single complaint with any of the great people who work here. I usually come in to pick up packages. As I am a frequent customer most of the employees know me by face and are always friendly and always willing to go the extra mile whenever I may have a question or problem. I do not recommend working here, the manager is passive aggressive and out of control. She withholds employees pay without a second thought. Convenient location, easy parking. There is regular USPS shipping here as well as UPS. You can drop off boxes and envelopes with prepaid shipping labels attached for USPS priority flat rate, but you can't pay for it there, because UPS doesn't offer USPS priority flat rate service (makes sense.) I've had to mail some stuff from eBay sales and they were very helpful in calculating shipping ahead of time and figuring out what boxes to use. I've also come in with heavy boxes to mail and the gentleman that works there helped me with them out of the car. I can't rate them on the computer use or mail box service, but as a shipping facility, I think it's a good one. read more

While this UPS location is very close to me and in a shopping center my wife and I use regularly I would not go back there. Though the two women at the counter seemed to be very capable, one had an attitude about having to deal with customers that I can only describe as toxic. She seemed to enjoy correcting the customers if they asked questions and did it while being as rude as she possibly could. This woman SHOULD. NOT. BE. the face of UPS. read more

I went to this UPS store on April 24th to mail a package. Prior to going there I called the 800 number to get a price quote. I was quoted $26.39 for the package. The package was large 24x18x18" but it only weighed 8lbs. When Alex weighed it he said the cost was $49.97. I did question why it was almost double than what I had been quoted. He checked and couldn't find that price. He said that it must be an old quote. I agreed to the cost but I was not told that the package would not be shipped to my son's house but rather a pick up point for UPS. I used UPS because I wanted the box to go straight to my son's house so he wouldn't have to drive somewhere and pick it up. When I checked the tracking number a few days later it said that it was ready for pick up but there wasn't a location. I called my son's house and someone had been home all day. I asked them to look for a door sticker but there wasn't one. I called the local store to see if they could tell me where the package was and they gave me the wrong store! I called the 800 number again and they said it was at a CVS pharmacy down the road from my son's house. Now how in the world would I know that? I called the CVS pharmacy and they had it behind the cash register. I was told I had 5 days to pick it up or it would be returned. I left 2 messages for Jennifer the manager(with employees) at the Centennial store.She didn't have the decency to ever call me back. read more

We went here last Friday 3/29 to ship a heavy and odd shaped item. We had great service and the staff person said he would figure out how to package it. He slightly underquoted the cost for our two boxes but he stuck with his original quote. We were relieved to have found a way to ship this, as the USPS on Centennial has no interest in helping, and Fedex said they didn't have a way to box a 50" long item read more

I will never in my entire life ship with UPS again. Before I begin the saga in detail, I will add that Brian, the employee I have been working with, has gone above and beyond any measure to aid me. The error did not occur on his end and yet he has done his best to resolve my issue (though it's not resolved yet). The saga is not over... Originally on the 4th of June, I did a standard shipping rate from Colorado Springs, CO to Washington, D.C. to send my passport to the Swiss Consulate. I paid over $25 to arrive there including a prepaid return envelope. It was set to arrive on the 7th of June. On Thursday there were no further updates as to the progress of the package. So I waited. On Monday I called to check the status and was told the package had been lost and that I needed to open an investigation. The woman on the line would not open one for me, told me I must do it myself or go to the local UPS Store (who is only an affiliate by the way) and file a claim with them. She took my information and refused to provide any further details other than what the tracking details said on the website. After two days of frantic communication with the local UPS employee- who took it upon himself to help me, knowing the significance of my passport, we still had received no word. UPS would not tell us ANYTHING and seemed bothered I was calling for an update so frequently. Crazy right? Oh it doesn't stop there. Whoever input my information in the UPS system after I SPECIFICALLY provided my information misspelled my last name AND my street address. Essentially they were looking for a package with the wrong information. Ultimately, I created a Facebook account and contacted +15 individuals who on their profile stated they worked at the New Stanton, PA hub. I HAD TO TAKE IT INTO MY OWN HANDS TO FIND MY PASSPORT. They would not even tell me basic information over the phone about MY PACKAGE and kept deferring me to the UPS store, which they were not providing any information to either. After FINALLY getting a response from an individual who worked at the hub- a backdoor method, I finally retrieved my passport back to my address. Let's hope it goes right this time. The individual working at the local UPS store took money out of his own pocket to resend the passport via two-day air. Which was set to arrive at 10:30 this morning. But guess what? According to the tracking details my package was missorted which is causing a delay. It was, and the Consulate was expecting and needing it by 06/07/2019. As of 06/14/19, it's not going to even arrive yet. I will say this, I am still holding my breath because it still needs to get there AND RETURN TO ME SAFELY. NO MATTER WHAT, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE USE UPS AGAIN FOR ANY REASON. IF MY BLOOD NEEDS TO BE TRANSPORTED TO SAVE A LIFE AND UPS IS THE ONLY OPTION, KNOWING UPS, THAT PERSON WOULD BE AS GOOD AS DEAD. I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE PLEASE BOYCOTT THIS COMPANY AND GIVE THEM NO MORE BUSINESS. THEY PUT THE CUSTOMER LAST AND ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM LINE. HOW DO I KNOW THIS? TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT IT TAKES TO GET A REFUND. THEY ARE SUED THOUSANDS OF TIMES A YEAR AND THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS MORE THAT DON'T, THEY SEE THAT AS A WIN. read more

We are new locals and we decided to stop by this UPS location to set up an account. This decision was based out of this location having better reviews than others in the area. Unfortunately, I have to say that I experienced the most inconsiderate display of service one could provide aside from not having any concern whatsoever for customer service at all. The gentlemen behind the counter "supposed UPS employee" did not know how to set up an account and did not care about attempting to learn either. His coworker suggested we go online, which explains why they don't know how to do it themselves. I told him that he offered poor customer service and he replied: "All day right?! I can do this all day!" I had to politely walk away from this establishment in disbelief of what had just happened. Customer service is critical for the success of any operation. Knowledge of your job description is the least expected. If you don't know how to do the job, you do not need to hold that position. read more

A little common courtesy goes a long way. They implemented a policy 5 months ago that they fail to inform customers about when you walk into the store. You get a nice little surprise at the register. Instead telling customers as you watch like a hawk from the front desk and even told me my total as I was on my third print. ..."You're up to 90 cents...." I thought oh well 90 cents isn't much, I'll print one more. What he failed to tell me is they now charge you a fee per minute for using the computer. I have used them a couple of times before and was never charged. I asked the clerk where is it posted that customers will be charged? He pointed to a sign above the desktop PC. Since I missed the sign I paid for it, but he could've just told me when he gave me an incorrect total. I usually have very helpful service here, but I feel totally cheated today. Next time I need something printed I will call a friend or go to the front office in my Apt complex. I only used their printing service because I was there dropping off packages. I could've printed for free. Also, normally they only charge me for the prints I want, not for the messed up copies as well. read more

Horrible and very VERY inconvienitly rude employee working yesterday and today. Terribly and stupidly VERY INCONVIENCED EXPERIENCE!! ************************************** We have been very time restricted lately and track our packages (as I'm sure most people do as well!) to know it has arrived before making an attempt. We received a note on our door early yesterday morning that an attempt was made for delivery and at drivers discretion of security was brought back to store. Check online, said it made it back to store after having left there once already. Ok. We went to location in the afternoon at about 3 pm yesterday and my boyfriend went in and said we had a package brought back and presented the note. This younger guy working seemingly in his late 20s seemed annoyed to even be asked to begin with, told him "it was not here yet" right away very short. Replied it says it has arrived back can you please check, and he replied packages don't come back and aren't sorted til after 230 pm and that he's the only one there and is too busy to do it today and that we will have to come back to get it tomorrow after 230 again. After explaining its important we get this TODAY and asking to please check real quick, my bf was again told he can't get it til tomorrow and was asked to leave. We were already late and I didn't have time to go in myself or felt like arguing. (Now I wasn't there for the first interaction but my boyfriend came out very angered explained it to me as a discrimination kind of experience by the way the worker talked and he was rudely turned away.) We went back again this morning at about 930 and the same guy was working and right away as soon as we walked in said "I told you you can't get it til after 230 today." I explained to him what tracking shows, showing him my phone as well and that there's no reason it shouldn't have been able to be picked up yet. He then asked what was your last name? Told him and he looks literally 4 feet next to him and goes "oh here ya go!" Turns the package around on the counter and there's his last name right on the side in bold letters! Said wow that would have been nice to have happen yesterday thanks grabbed it and turned and walked out. Now I'm not one to complain usually and this is in fact my first Yelp review and I've made it so detailed because there's literally nothing I can do now at this moment but laugh at how stupidly simple that process could have been and how incredibly angered and unconvinced it made us yesterday and again this morning by something we really desperately needed to have yesterday. That an employee had so rudely caused from lack of just doing their job or even the slightest consideration!! I understand everyone has bad days, but if you're getting paid to do a job and represent a company, I feel like they could have AT LEAST skimmed the names on the side of the packages placed on the counter to their side before going about explaining what he did the first time and shutting a customer down right away --even in the manner he had gave. That's why you're placed to work there in the first place right? Sooo upsetting and just a terrible experience. I will definitely be going in Monday to try to talk to a manager because it's upsetting how incredibly inconvenienced we were over this person/package. I really hope this employee is dealt with accordingly and someone else isn't as inconvenienced as what we went through. Do NOT use this UPS store! I chose this store because it is owned by a Veteran, and since I was shipping some heirlooms from my in-laws (retired Air Force), to my daughter in Maine, I thought it appropriate. The young man who took my order was very nice. That's the last good customer service I received. The store wrapped and packaged the items, for which I purchased insurance. When the package arrived, 5 of the dishes were broken. I called the store (in accordance with the instructions on the receipt) and left a message. No one returned my call. So I left a second message. Still no return call. No response to the email I sent or the certified letter I sent them. I finally contacted UPS via an 800 number...they arranged for an on site inspection of the broken items. I heard nothing from them after that, so I called the woman who did the inspection. She said i certainly was entitled to be reimbursed for the broken items, and I should have heard from the shipping store, as they are responsible for payment. I AGAIN called the shipping store and was assured by the manager that the forms for reimbursement were on their way to me. A month later, I'm still waiting. Maybe they sent them UPS!!!!!! read more
