They usually do a good job, but I was expecting a package, and I hadn't received notice that it it had arrived. I was quite disappointed to learn that it arrived 4 working days ago. That's almost a week!! upon physically going to PakMail to ask about the situation, I was told that it didn't get scanned in. Aren't there checks in place so this doesn't happen? Apparently not. Multiple times the employee there told me how much mail they receive on a daily basis. Like I care!!!! If they can't handle the volume of mailthat they're receiving, maybe they shouldn't accept new customers. read more

I had an antique desk in storage in the Colorado Springs area & I needed to have it shipped to me in California. To be honest I wasn't sure where to start. If you need to ship packages to your family for Christmas, this is the place to use. They are located on Centennial Blvd to the left of Safeway. They will find you the best rate between USPS, UPS or Fed Ex. Was super surprised that Fed Ex was the cheapest, by $12. We didn't want to stand in the lines at the post office. I bought an item from ShopGoodwill that ShopGoodwill was not able to package and ship. PakMail quoted me a reasonable price to pick-up the item from them, package it securely, and ship it via FedEx. They ended up doing the job for $20 less than their original estimate and the item arrived at my home safely and quickly. I was a mailbox customer here for four years with the old owners and had great service!! After the new owner took over the service dropped off some, but then seemed to return to the previous level....until the time to renew my yearly payment for the mailbox doubled ! I was forced to look elsewhere for a mailbox. I was able to find one closer to me, but the service is not the same. read more

PakMail Colorado helped me pick up an item and ship from Colorado to California as I could not do so while living on the west coast. They created a custom wooden crate for me since it was a very heavy item. This was unexpected and extremely welcome. My friend who is a fantastic photographer used this business to send me two framed photos that I bought from him. These photos were particularly important as he was selling them to raise money to help out an old friend's wife with finances after he passed from a long struggle with cancer. The box itself was oversized and filled with packing peanuts. Nestled inside, the two 17 x 13 framed photos were wrapped securely in bubble wrap and were in perfect condition. Phillip the recently new owner of Pak Mail, is not very considerate of his customers! On 2/13/19 I mailed a package to Pueblo, paid extra for next day delivery, he had the nerve to ask me to take it about a mile down to the post office since the USPS mailman had already been by his store! I had to drive it to the post office to insure overnight delivery!! (strike 1&2) This Wednesday 3/13/19 I decided to give Phillip 1 more chance. I entered his store, only to be coolly greeted, and then wait 2 minutes for him to send a text! Strike 3!!! won't waste my time and $ doing business there ever again! The post office appreciates my business, and never makes me wait while they send texts!!! read more

Chris and Jim are helpful, kind and incredibly patient. My other half and I sold a golf cart on ebay and then the shipping confusion began. Ebay told us one thing, UPS told us another and Pak Mail told us something else altogether. By the time everything was sorted, we found that Pak Mail was the only place that really seemed to know what they were doing! They gave us a very fair price for freight which turned out to be the only safe way to send the cart and it actually cost LESS than UPS ground even though it would be providing much better handling. These guys really know their shipping. From now on, anything we sell we are taking to them, putting it in their hands and sitting back knowing they are honest and knowledgeable and will take care of it all without our having to worry. Our experiences with USPS were a nightmare. Our experiences with UPS was like getting caught in a whirlwind of confusing information, and our experiences with Fed X though better than UPS were not great when it came to trying to figure out insurance (hard to get straight answers). Really, the bottom line is if you don't want to worry, take your package to these folks. read more
