It's nice having many location options for The UPS Store for quick trips to ship things out, package just about anything and also drop off Amazon returns. This location can get busy but they're pretty quick and efficient getting through any long lines. They are located in the Countryside Shops next to The Melting Pot and dry cleaners. Since UPS Stores are more convenient than the Post Office on most days, you shall pay for it too. But sometimes it's worth it in a bind. The staff here is nice. And the store itself is simple and clean. They took out all the extra stuff like greeting cards that use to be smack dab in the middle of the room. I have to admit I loved reading the cards while I waited in line. Most people come here to drop off Amazon packages. It's very convenient as Amazon returns are typically hassle free. You have the option to pick location for returns and it's usually The UPS Store, Whole Foods or pay extra for pick up. When you bring Amazon packages in, if the line is long, they have a return kiosk on the side which is AMAZING!!! Game changer. In and out quickly if you know how these work. Scan QR code, follow instructions, put your return item in a plastic bag, close bag, print label, put label on bag, and drop in designated area. Done and done! #YoureWelcome. read more

Poor poor customer service at this store.. can't really blame the employees as they follow instructions but even while doing so there is a way to say and do things, I brought a sealed package that was delivered with a tear / small rip on the side of it in the cardboard, not a real hole but the cardboard was ripped a bit so I took it back and they refused to accept it and turned me around to either go back home and seal it or get another box or buy a tape in the store. I said it's small and few inches long and thats how it came and maybe she can use a blank Shipping label or a piece of her small tape Iand the answer was no and instead I had to buy their tape to cover it a single roll of tape cost $8.55. the amazing thing that Amazon sell that tape for $3.59 and a 6 pack at $12.99 but hey, why not rip off your clients while at it .. What can be better than making your clients buy your products to seal something UPS themselves ripped bringing to you in the first place right. read more

Staffing is always different. Recently received notice that they are now charging (upcharging) $2. per package received over ten packages per month.. WHAT?? That's WHY I have a PO Box, now a $30. late fee for "late" box renewa... WHAT? 20% ? (I tried to leave my card number at the desk today but the trainee didn't "know" how to do that - I asked BEFORE I saw the new "late fee.") Two NEW staff members manning counter... There were 2 people in front of me when I walked in and someone else who walked in after me. The person behind the counter called for assistance at the counter since there were a couple people in line. They were very quick & efficient. The only reason I'm not giving this place any lower amount of stars is because it is very clean and close by to the house... When I walked in there there was three workers and two were helping customers but the third was just standing off to the side looking at me and not saying a single word. After a couple moments she walked away and I stood there for easily five minutes not been greeted one time when one of the workers was done with the ladies he was helping the guy disappeared into the back and never came out. This store recently came under new ownership. I think the day I happened to pop in to mail an urgent envelope may have actually been the first day they were open under new management. It was clear that the young lady at the register was very new to the system, but she was quite possibly the MOST HELPFUL person I have ever met! She put in my requested address and then went over with me all of the possible pricing options. She showed me how I could spend the least amount of money and ensure that my package arrived prior to the deadline. After she rang me up, she noticed that she had overlooked a less expensive option, and proceeded to cancel the order and re-enter everything for me! I don't think most young people would have been willing to put in this level of effort to help a middle aged lady send an envelope! I was impressed! I felt like she genuinely cared about the service she was providing, and had a level of altruism and candor that is rare for typical cashiers! I will absolutely do ALL of my mailing from this UPS in the future. My package arrived ON TIME and I saved a penny or two! HOORAY UPS! When I need to ship things out via UPS or USPS, this is my go to store. They're on the smaller side but operate like a giant UPS store. They offer everything from shipping to printing to shredding. The staff are super friendly, know exactly what they're doing and get you in and out super efficient. Darren and his staff were excellent! Very professional and attentive. We needed our Trust notarized and witnessed which is quite an endeavor. They took their time with us to go through it thoroughly and to make sure all the signatures were in place. They even scanned it after we were done so that we could send it to our attorney. Just had to drop off a couple of packages. There were two employees there who basically ignored me when I walked in and waited, since there was another man in front of me talking to them. Finally, after a few minutes, the male employmee acknowledged me saying they'd be with me in a minute. The woman offered to give me a receipt for my packages which I appreciated and she weighed and scanned my packages in order to give me the receipt. Shipped a package from this store on 3/1/2021 since I couldn't fit all of the contents in my luggage. I received the package, and the box had been cut open and several items were missing. I've made several attempts to contact this store, and was referred to "Darin". I've been told that he is busy and that he would call me back multiple times. I'm attaching pictures of the condition of the box when I received it. I also have video footage of the box being delivered in this condition. I would imagine an employee at the store, or an employee with UPS had to be the culprit since I dropped the package off at UPS and received the delivery from UPS. Whenever I order something from Amazon that turns out to be incorrect, this is where I go to send it back. There is often a line but it moves quickly and it never takes more than a few minutes. And when it is my turn, it takes about 2 seconds for the employee to scan my QR code, wrap up my package and print out a receipt. I wish all businesses worked this efficiently. read more

I am unfortunately giving the store 0 stars zero.. I mailed out a package that had a bracelet in it that was worth $160... granted as I look back, I should have mailed it out UPS back to Etsy. To begin with the person who helped me copied down the wrong address from my phone to where it was to be delivered. Just for reference I have been to the store many times over the past 20 years that I have lived in Cooper City. I handed my package over and paid the fee. Two days later I did a tracking on the package after I was told it was not received. unfortunately again, the clerk who took care of me, sent it to the wrong address. I called the UPS store and spoke to Saul who told me he is the owner. This man ridiculed me and shamed me for not double checking the address. he went as far as to say to me don't you check your packages when you pick up McDonald's to make sure you have all of your french fries? he was very condescending. he said he would take care of it but I got on the phone with the post office and they would get back to me the following day. so the next day I get a phone call from Saul the owner of UPS store. And he proceeds to leave a message telling me that some man called thought it was a relative or my husband telling him that he sent it out and it was only worth two dollars not $160 that the bracelet was worth.. So I called the store and again I was met with the rudest individual I've ever spoken to. I asked to speak to a son after he told me his son Darrell didn't work there anymore, I got him on the phone. They had no information on the phone call that they received no number no name no nothing. I spoke to the post office in New York and they are trying to fix the situation for me. I will never go back to the UPS store Saul and Darren are both the rudest condescending men I have ever dealt with. Essentially on the message that he left me, he accuse me of being fraudulent. hopefully I will get my bracelet back. So I own a small business and in that business i'm required to mail out a lot of letters via UPS next day air. Usually, when i leave my office in the evening, I go to the ups that is on my way home. The staff is very professional and friendly but I experienced an encounter that made me make the decision of not returning there. On Wednesday, after work, i went to drop off some letters as I always do, and was helped by the store owner Sol. Usually when I get to the store I ask for envelopes for my ups letters which are always given to me, and I figured since it's a UPS store they have plenty of them for customers that use UPS. Well Sol, the owner proceeded to tell me that the next time I wanted to mail these letters out I would need to pay or I could contact UPS and get it from them. I was a little confused but decided to go ahead and get the envelopes directly from UPS. When I contacted UPS, I asked how much it would cost to get those envelopes and was told they were free and that they would ship them. I was very happy, but knew I wouldn't get them that same day. I'm the type of person I don't like anyone giving me a handout and understand that as a small business I should be supporting other small businesses. So I proceeded to call Sol's UPS store and ask how much it would cost per envelope for me to send my mail. He stated to me it would cost $1 per envelope if it was a non UPS item but that if it was a UPS item then the envelope was free. I was a little confused by his answer due to the fact that he had stated to me the day before that I needed to pay for those same envelopes. So i got off from work and headed directly to the UPS store to mail my items, and when i got to the front counter I was helped by Sol. When I told him I needed to mail my items out and that I needed an envelope he proceeded to tell me in an irate manner that the next time I come in to mail my UPS items, that I will need to pay for the envelopes and that he wasn't running a charity. At that point I stated to him that I called earlier and that he personally told me that the envelopes were going to be provided to me. I then asked him what was the cost to him for the envelopes. He gave me an answer along the lines that he is a UPS store but doesn't have a UPS account (which didn't make sense to me but ok) and re-iterated that he wasn't running a charity. After hearing the word charity being thrown at me a couple of times, I wanted to make sure i payed for the envelopes and asked him to charge me for them but he told me it would be free for this time. I was very adamant that I wanted to pay for the envelopes but he didn't want to charge me. I started getting the feeling at that point that he just didn't want me to patronize his store and decided to just leave. From there I visited a UPS store that was closer to my house. Not only was I told that the envelopes didn't cost them anything, but that for each envelope I mail, the UPS store gets a $1 The reason why I made this post is because I was so disappointed with the level of service that I received, that I can't bring myself to return to that store and it's unfortunate. I am a very upbeat, friendly type of guy, and I am not one to complain if the service that I get somewhere is bad. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. As a 16 year CC resident I had gone to this store many times before and was satisfied with the service. My son is away at college, so I'm a frequent shipper! Today when I entered the empty store, noone greeted me. After standing there a few minutes, a short older man came out from behind the mailboxes and headed to the backroom without looking in my direction. As an afterthought, he said, "I'll get to you in minute" as he disappeared. My time is valuable and he seemed busy, so I took the tape gun off the hook on the wall to my left. I'd seen them use it to tape my boxes every time before...I figured I'd get the box taped while he attended to whatever was more important than his customer. This little angry man came out, grabbed the tape from me and scolded me with "You can't do that!" Confused, I responded, "I'm sorry, I can't use your tape anymore?". Him: (angrily) "No, you can't!". At this point I'm baffled. "You can't put packing tape on the box for me?". Him: "I CAN, YOU can't. People don't know how to use the (tape) gun and they damage the counter." Me: "okay, but all you had to do was tell me, Ma'am I'll take care of that for you, you didnt have to yell at me"...he then went on lecturing me about MY bad behavior (forgive me for trying to expedite my visit after you ignored me) while angrily taping up my box. Another man who I have always believed was the owner turns the corner from the back room. He asks if there's a problem. So I told him his employee must be having a bad day or doesn't like his job. He tells me, he likes his job, he's the owner! So of course I suggested he should be nicer then...well, now HE proceeds to scold me, making no apology for the owner's rude behavior and tells me that's his father. He's getting defensive like I'm insulting his Dad.. I reminded him I don't care who he is, as an employee of the store he should have greeted me when I walked in, maybe LOOKED in my direction and smiled, and when he didnt want me to tape my own package, he could have diffused the situation with a smile and an "I can help you with that" or something customer friendly. HE. KEPT. GOING.!!! This customer was never going to be right...lol.....I picked up my package and told him he lost my business because they have no clue how to handle customer service and that I would be sure to post on social media. He told me aggressively to "Have a nice day"...and I thanked him for the tape. read more

The manager called me a nasty name in front of my kids for assisting him with my package. After confronting the bully he back down and called the police. I waited for the police while on the phone with UPS customer service. He denied giving me my package after both UPS and the police asked him too. UPS lost a customer for life. read more
