False advertising. People who work there barely speak / understand English. Terrible customer experience.

Love this UPS store for Amazon returns! So easy to bring in the unboxed items and have the UPS store scan the barcode from your phone. The parking lot is a little weird, and people often use the road as parking, but other than that easy as can be! read more

Terrible service. Needed to return corporate laptop, prepaid process. Neither associate was able to follow printed processing steps after scanning provided QR shipping code, insisting an additional return QR code was required. Refused to accept equipment for packaging/shipping. Went to second UPS store on Boughton Road in Bolingbrook, and they scanned same QR code and accepted equipment without issue. Avoid UPS store on 75th Street in Downers Grove, and drive the extra couple of miles and give your business to the Bolingbrook location - they are literate and can follow printed instructions. read more

Their prices are out of this world. I usually go to Yorkville and Geneva but was close by so decided to come here. I usually pay $1 to print a label. They charged $2.70. Never again. I know prices have gone up but it's robbery. Even their photocopy and tiny retail section was triple the prices. No thank you! read more

I paid 35 dollars to send a lightweight package to California. It was supposed to be delivered today, 5 days after I paid for service. Now it won't be delivered until Monday. This is ridiculous and I feel that I am entitled to a refund, or at least partially. This is such a rip off!! read more

The ONLY redeeming quality about this store is its manager, Chris. The owner, Hetal, is a nightmare to deal with. Hetal has been making excuses for seven months about why she can't resolve a damage claim. Each time, she has a different reason ... and, she will misplace your number many times and use that has her excuse for not calling you back. I had the good fortune of calling back on a day when Hetal was off. It took the amazing manager, Chris, 5 minutes to close the case that THE OWNER couldn't resolve in 7 months. Fantastic! After seeing the FAX prices at the local FedEx office ($1.89 1st page, $1.69 2nd page) I called my local UPS store. Nearly half the price! ($2.00 1st page, $1.00 2nd page). I had an important 32 page fax to a government office that was now going to cost me $33 instead of $54. Even better yet...all faxes are capped off at $10!!! Thanks to Jill, the local owner-operator, for setting reasonable prices for a simple phone call service! read more

This is where I go for all of my shipping needs. I used to stand in the LONG post office lines and pay the same price to ship items to family members. Not only does the UPS store have competitive prices with the United States Post Office, but they also package your items. Of course, you have to pay for the box. But you DO NOT have to pay for the bubble wrap, tape, etc. It's all included in the price of the box. And THEY package it for you. This location also has a PO on site, so you could mail your letters there, too. I say, "Don't waste your time at the PO. You are in and out of here so quickly, you wonder why others still go to the PO." read more

I've always had pretty good experiences with UPS stores, but this is the best service I have ever had by far. Jill helped me coordinate shipping several packages for a cross country move and went above and beyond to help. Do not scan anything with personal information at this location! I am in shock at the customer service I just received from this location. An employee, Tyler, just scanned some documents which contained personal information like bank accounts and social security numbers. After he scanned and emailed them I confirmed receipt of the email and asked him to please delete the emails and scans because they contain personal information. He said, and I quote "like I care about your information", he also said he can't delete anything. I asked for a manager and was told Jill, the manager is on vacation and retiring tomorrow. I requested another manager and a gentleman named Dalton said he is sort of the manager, sort of! He deleted my documents after seeing how upset I was, but this is unacceptable. I am hoping he deleted everything and my personal info is not left vulnerable! I have used other locations before and have had no issues or received no attitude regarding my request, everyone has the right to protect their social security number! My request is reasonable and anyone who is a responsible individual would request the same. I am told the owner is named Ron and I truly hope he takes the time to train his staff and talk to them about customer service skills. After all of this I ask how much I owe and Tyler, again with an attitude says he doesn't know and tells me to count my pages, then charges me for the email sent, the scan to computer and an additional charge for computer use, although I never used the computer. I have a much closer UPS Store near the Naperville DMV, but that location is the worst UPS Store I've been to in several states. I drive out of my way to visit this location in Downers Grove which has the friendliest and most customer service oriented staffing around. read more

The lady wasn't very professional. She took our package and processed it but we had to stand there while she addressed the previous customer and a phone call. In any business you must be patient and professional. It's all about the customer service. We would've came back and send letters via certified mail but felt uncomfortable to even ask her a question. read more

I have been in here three times in the last 14 years and they all have been terrible experiences. Once on a Saturday around Xmas I carried several boxes across the parking lot through the snow, not realized that they closed at 3:00 on Saturday. As I was walking up to the door the employee (the manager and still is) was locking the door. When I got up to the door she shook her head and mouthed, "we're closed now" pointing at the sign on the door. I said, "please" and she frowned at me and shook her head no. At that point I looked at my phone and it was 2:58. Recently, I had to review a transcript of a deposition I had done. The same person was very unhappy that I did not want to review the 200pg document about 2' from the counter and wanted to take it with me. Since she was the notary, she said that I had to return it when she was there, "in the morning, until about 2 or 3. I called today at 11:15, she was not there and when I inquired further, the gentleman hung up on me. I love the UPS store on Boughton and Janes near the Meijers. I am in there at least once a week.
