DO NOT EVER use this location if you are shipping anything!!!! This past February, I had my grandparents' antique rocking chair wrapped, packaged up, boxed up (all done by UPS), and shipped to my home in GA from this store. The rocking chair arrived damaged and now they will not honor the claim, which I filed immediately! I have been fighting with the store as well as corporate ever since, sending all the pictures and documents they requested, answering all their questions, and they have come up with the lamest excuses as to why they cannot pay for the damages!!! They won't even cover the shipping costs! They claim they called me when they did not, then denied my claims because I did not return their calls!! How can I return phone calls that were never made! My last 2 experiences (Dec 2018 and Jan 2019) with this UPS Store were less than good. One time I needed to mail a package 'ground' and it was 7PM (their pick up is at 7:30). The young man at the counter told me since I was shipping ground, it wouldn't go out until tomorrow (?!?!?!?). I asked why it wouldn't go out with the 100 boxes sitting behind him waiting to ship. He said those are 2-day and next day packages. Ummmmmm I'm fairly certain that the method of shipping should not impact the time it 'ships'. It impacts the time it is delivered! Then to make matter worse, I asked if I could pay for the label and shipping and I'll just go find a local drop box with a later pick up that will take it tonight. He told me that he couldn't do that. He could only let me pay for shipping for items that are leaving there! None of this made sense. He either was really confused, a new employee, or really couldn't care less about my shipping needs. I told him to ask his manager/owner. She came out and seemed surprised he told me that and said my ground package would ship with the evening pick up. He also spelled my client's name wrong in the system when I had handed him a printed piece of paper with her information on it (so it wasn't due to a handwriting issue). He seemed a bit perplexed as to why I needed to fix the name since the address was correct. I asked him to fix it and reprint the label. People (especially clients!) get offended if you spell their name wrong! A couple of weeks later, I needed some post cards printed (approx 100) for my business and wanted to see if they could be done that day. The owner kept me on the phone about 20 minutes (putting me on hold, then getting distracted with some other issue going on) only to tell me that I should email her my document and she'll get back to me after she talks to the print guy. Needless to say, it's been over a month and I never heard back from her. I'm sticking with the FedEx store from now on! read more

Oh how I love this UPS store! Background story: I am making my own wedding invitations for my upcoming wedding. I tried printing the envelopes myself which turned out to be a disaster. I wasted half a pack of envelopes and about 2 hours of my time trying to figure out the formatting for the envelopes that I had purchased. Once I thought I had the formatting figured out, I realized when I printed my printer was leaving black smudges. It was just not working out. My fiance, seeing my total frustration, and trying to prevent a bridal breakdown (haha!), decided to help and suggested we outsource this project to relieve some of the stress. We called several stores who all said they couldn't print on the envelopes we had (this included office stores and Fedex/Kinkos). We contacted Office Depot who said they could do it (hooray!!). My fiance took the envelopes there only to find out they in fact could NOT get it to work. Great. He then decided to call the UPS store in Bolingbrook and spoke with Luis. Luis said he could do it (I wasn't about to get excited since Office Depot told me the same thing), but decided I had nothing to lose. I took my envelopes and spreadsheet in there and Luis printed out a sample for me - it worked perfect!! He sat down with me in the back of the store at the computer, let me format the text how I wanted. I picked the text, font, he ran several samples for me before I decided on how I wanted it, and was overall extremely helpful. He had around 140 envelopes printed for me in an hour!! It cost $10.00 for a set up fee and $0.10 per envelope. Totally worth it! Since then I went back once more for some additional envelopes to be printed and it took about a half hour and only $0.10 per envelope (no set up fee this time, that was a one time charge). Something that stood out to me was that between the first and second times I was in there, it was about a 3-4 week span, but when I went in there the second time, he remembered my name and greeted me with a "Hi, Tracy!" To some people this is insignificant, but to me it shows good and friendly customer service to remember peoples' names when they see sooo many customers! I am very pleased and will remember to use them in the future for any similar needs I may have. read more

This location is ok,but it's always busy and slow. The employees are nice,but there are only 2 people working so if you happen to be behind someone with a lot of service needs expect to spend 15 minutes or more waiting in line. The temperature needs to be regulated. I spent 10 minutes next to a wide open door in this January weather.The employee closed the door,and 5 minutes later I was so hot that I was starting to feel sick,maybe someone should just adjust the thermostat. The floors could have used a vacuum,but I'd rather have good customer service then speed or immaculate floors. read more

I called on Monday and asked what their hours were for notary services the next day (Tuesday). The woman said to come in during business hours. My husband went in three times (they kept giving him times their notary would be there) and not once did they have anyone that could help us. Why lie when I called?! The third time he stopped in the girl at the desk (after talking to the owner who is their notary) said "I can't say" when she will be in. How is this a way to run a business?! read more

It is extremely disappointing that they would not try to deliver again but directly send to the ups access point!!!! A few more details. WOW! I am still waiting for my package that was delivered to THIS Store in BOLINGBROOK on June 11th. I remember the UPS driver ringing the bell and I buzzed to let him in plus ran 3 flights just to see him drive away, (with a gift I needed in that package) After searching to find the location of my package, I was able to find a tracking number, which led me to this Store. I was praying that my package be there. I was greeted by a pleasant lady (so I thought) and she asked for my name. Without giving it much attention, she said my package was already picked up and returned She provided me a UPS phone # to track shipment which I did to discover that my package was at this Bolingbrook Store the entire time! She straight lied to me by stating the package was already picked up from UPS when in fact she didn't even look. According to UPS representative, the last scanned time was on June 11th which indicates the package was still at this store yesterday, June 17th! Where is the loyalty and honesty. I would've felt better if you were honest. So now, I don't have my package and have lost the trust of this Store Let this be a lesson, Honesty is always the best policy! read more

Incompetent bunch. Including the manager! I had business packages shipped via UPS, TO this UPS Store. (UPS to UPS - should have been pretty easy, right? ) Rec'd an email from UPS Tracking stating the package was delivered at 10:04 am. I called at 2pm to make sure, so I could pick it up on the way home later that day. The girl looked and looked, went into the computer and assured me IT WAS NOT THERE, even though I told her I received an email FROM UPS stating it was. I called again at 4pm, and a guy searched and searched... and again, swore it just was not there. I called again at 6pm, spoke with another gentleman, and he (yes, again!!!) said it was not there. I argued and argued that UPS tracking sent me the email stating it was delivered at 10;04. While trying to be helpful, he asked if I could hold so he could call "the manager". I was told it actually HAD been delivered there that morning, after all. He actually LAUGHED when he explained they couldn't find it because...(Get ready for this!!) " it "looked" like the boxes they sell... y'know, the brown ones, so they never looked at them" NEVER LOOKED FOR THEM? WHAT ABOUT THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM???!!! What!???? I mean really... What?!!! I went to pick them up, only to be told I own them $25. I told them that even before arranging to have it shipped there, I asked TWO people how much it would be to have it shipped there, and BOTH ... both people told me $5 or $10. A fter this entire day of incompetence, when I expressed that to their "manager",she put this fiasco on ME, stating "YOU must not have heard them say per package". Again... WHAT?!! After this MANAGER heard how incompetent their entire staff had been not even looking for my boxes throughout the entire day, (with UPS stating it was delivered) SHE STILL HAD THE ATTITUDE TO BLAME ME? Never again will I do business there. And I WANT to warn all others in advance not to, as well. This specific location is a joke compare to all the other UPS stores I've used. Terrible. I just wasted my time and gas to take a package to your store in the pouring rain. The store hours stated online opened until 2:30. I pulled up at 1:50 to see the girl locking the door from the outside and leaving. This is no way to conduct business. I will never use this UPS store again. I dropped two packages off on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 at 6:45pm for delivery the next day in Milwaukee Wi which is overnight delivery. The packages didn't arrive until Thursday, September 6th, 2018. When I called UPS, they said the UPS store didn't ship the packages until Wednesday. The purpose of me bringing the packages on Tuesday was for Wednesday delivery. This is unacceptable. read more

This is the 3rd time I've gone to this store. I must be a masochist. I waited 3 times to make sure I was being fair in this review. The first time I came here there was no one behind the counter but the lady came out to help me and seemed friendly. I needed to use their computer to print a label since my printer died and she left me alone to do that. She was gone for quite a while in the back...and eventually my husband and I called for her and she reappeared. This was the best experience I had with the store, and again...at least she was friendly. The 2nd time I went to this store was to drop off a package with a preprinted label already on it. I tried to explain that I had already printed the label after entering the store (no hello from the man behind the counter), but instead of listening to me he said 'firmly' over and over "on the scale, on the scale" which I guess meant I was supposed to stop trying to talk to him and put the package on the scale, even though it already had a label and was ready to go. I really didn't want the receipt, but he basically forced me to stand there while he printed it. I left the store feeling not only a lack of customer service, but feeling actually kind of really disliked for no good reason. The 3rd time I went to this store was to drop off another package with a preprinted label attached to it. Why did I go back? Hell if I know LOL. This time I asked my husband to go in for me because I didn't feel like being 'abused' by the staff. The lady behind the counter didn't greet him when he came in and when he tried to hand her the package she said "scale" and pointed at the scale. When he tried to put the package on the scale she said "flat", because apparently he wasn't putting it on the scale flat enough? Also I think they're supposed to be the ones weighing the packages, and I'm still not sure why they are weighing packages that already have printed labels attached to begin with and forcing people to take a receipt...maybe it's a new policy? The other UPS stores I have been to before were always able to accept packages with pre-printed labels without weighing them. I have been going to this particular UPS store for 7 years now and the employees are always so helpful and assist in the most kind way. I have sent faxes and if I have to wait a little it is no big deal because they always thank me for my patience and don't we all need to be that way? People are forgetting how to be patient. Last week I sent a package and 5 hours later I realized I had forgotten to include an important document. The manager was kind enough to be looking out for my package before it was sent out and included my document. The staff is amazing. read more
