This UPS location is the most convenient for me. The Plaza parking lot can sometimes be hard to get into, but there is usually a parking space available when needed. I typically bring in boxes for drop-off and have a QR code to scan, making the process smooth and efficient. The staff are usually friendly and get me in and out quickly. I came into this store with a fragile ceramic Christmas tree that my mother left behind when she moved to Arizona. She dearly loves this tree and it has extraordinary sentimental value. The people that help me assure me that they would get it there safe and sound. It was delivered yesterday safe and sound and wrapped in a large ball of bubble wrap. STAY AWAY. I really should have listened to the one star reviews. I also should have listened to my intuition and I'm kicking myself for not following my gut. But I didn't want to wait in a long line at the post office so I came here on a Wednesday to mail a perishable item two-day air. It cost $40 and when I checked the tracking number a couple days later, the package had never left the store. I contacted UPS who told me that they couldn't do anything because the package wasn't in their system. I contacted the store. No answer multiple times. When I finally got through, the person who answered already had attitude and simply said "nothing is guarantee right now." I get that. It's the holidays and I've read all about it. But the fact that the package hasn't even LEFT THE STORE is suspect. Even more frustrating is that the perishable item is no longer good and I'm out $40 and the time it took to come in, mail it, and deal with UPS and this store's customer service. Stay away. If you must use UPS, go to the actual UPS location in Everett, not this janky a** store that takes no responsibility for their service. I was also disappointed to see the counter person not wearing a mask but a scarf to cover their face. The person at the front told me that ground was 6-8 days for about $12. Instead, I paid $40 for a 2-day package to be delivered in about 10 days. Why? Never again. I'd rather wait in an eternal USPS line to than go here and recover terrible service. read more

This location does not provide services paid for. I shipped 2 cell phones back in NOVEMBER. I FULLY INSURED them. UPS lost the package. I filed a claim. It's been 6 months. In that time I have called the store, emailed the store, called corporate, had a text conversation with the manager Alex (he's not even at the company anymore. There's a new manager now), filled out their online contact is form, gone into the store.... I have provided every single piece of information asked of me. I have been told for MONTHS that it would only be another week and I'd get my check. I was told that corporate made you file a police report...I have been given the run around for HALF A YEAR. I paid for $1,300 insurance for TWO cell phones that YOU LOST. I want the money owed me for the service I paid for. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint tomorrow if I don't get my money today. I am DONE being lied to. I've gone to small claims court before and won. I will do it again. This is a general condemnation of the institution of the United Parcel Service known as UPS. Here is an example of their corporate exploitation and raping of their consumers. I was charged $100, yes ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS to merely have THREE pieces of paper notarized and sent from Lake Stevens, Wa. to Bozeman, Mt. The documents requiring notarizing were not 150 page real estate closing documents but rather ONE SHEET to place a stamp on while witnessing my wife sign her signature. That's three signatures, three pieces of paper and LESS THAN two minutes. And for that they charged $15 per signature for a total of $45 dollars ... because they have the exploitive policy of charging $15 dollars per document. $$ FORTY FIVE DOLLARS for less than three minutes of something that can't even be considered "work" but rather clamping a stamp on a piece of paper. Further to that action they charged her $55 to send the three pieces of paper to Montana. FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS$$$!! They weren't shipping a kitchen appliance, they were putting THREE pieces of paper on vehicle. If this doesn't strike you as a CORPORATE RIP-OFF than I don't know what is. Corporate America just bought a Presidency and this is exactly the kind of actions WHY they did; so they can continue to exploit the consumer with NO Accountability!! I recommend not shipping with UPS! I went in to ship a package yesterday and asked for 2 day air as requested by the buyer. The guy working said it'll get there Thursday but he's just going to charge me for their standard shipping which will get there Thursday as well. I said but doesn't the 2 day air have a guarantee, he said none of their shipping has guarantees. I refunded the difference in shipping to the buyer and updated paypal with tracking. Today the buyer sent the attached screenshot that tracking isn't working. I double checked the receipt and it was entered correctly, i then noticed it says USPS tracking even though it was shipped through UPS. I changed PayPal to USPS and noticed it now says ETA is Saturday for delivery. This was an expensive order and myself and the buyer were more than willing to pay for 2 day air for it to get there in 2 days. (ALL of my UPS orders in the past shipped 2 day air have been on time). Not happy with UPS. If i wanted it shipped USPS priority i would've just gone there. He also spelled the buyers name wrong even though i spelled it out for him read more

I drop off packages at the store at least once per week I'm always in a hurry and the staff are consistently so kind to me. They help me above and beyond my expectations. The other night at 5 o'clock I needed to get some thing out and they unlocked the door and took it from me. the parking lot at this location is absolutely crazy because of the other businesses but for me it's totally worth it. Really surly staff. Been there several times, always slow, always seem angry, always a new process for drop-offs, very inconsistent on little $1-2 "surcharges" they add on. Final straw was when they told me they don't accept pre-printed labels for UPS dropoff. FedEx across the street is great - never a hassle, friendly and quick. Other than being a typical postal box and shipping shop, this location is pretty mediocre. There is almost always a wait that seems unnecessarily long and boxes are littered everywhere. This seems to occur regardless of how much staff is present. If you are here for notary services I strongly recommend you call in advance. I've wasted more time than I want to admit learning that lesson, and on one occasion they directed me to another store across town whose notary wasn't there either. Don't bother standing in line just to be turned away. However, it should be noted that if the notary is there, he's very helpful and gets the job done quickly. read more

I brought in an Amazon return that had a free shipping return label. Before even scanning my return label the employee said it wouldn't be free. I stated that it most certainly was "free" according to the Amazon shipping label. The employee scanned my label then looked surprised. She then immediately said, "Well, they must have sent you the wrong label" and charged me for a return box which did NOT aligned with Amazon's policy that stated per the label that my return was "free- no box needed". (The label didn't indicate a "charge" and was certainly a "Free" return item). The woman who charged me exchanged a weird look with her male co-worker, like they thought it was funny to charge me. I paid only because I was pressed for time. This location is physically unappealing, the workers look and behave unprofessional and even worst, THE EMPLOYEES ARE DISHONEST. This store charged my son $47 to ship a 24"x16"x8" box that weighed 5lbs, Ground Shipping with no insurance. The contents were a simple motherboard I was sending to be repaired. I'm upset because by the time I factor in these shipping costs with packaging costs I could have just bought another motherboard. $47 Ground Shipping charges for such a simple item is absurd. Just a couple of months ago I shipped a much larger 36"x36"x12" box that weighed 49lbs, UPS Ground shipping at the Staples across the street for $35 with $500 insurance. I have used this store a several times and twice my package tracking said it never left the facility. When I tried to call and find out more information all I get is a busy signal after many attempts. This last time he answered, he asked if this was an Amazon return, and put the phone down while I listened to him help other customers for 12 minutes (Hmm...must be why there is always a busy signal) There were pauses in between customers where he could have helped me but he didn't. I finally hung up. The place always smells bad (like cigarettes and BO) and there is garbage and boxes scattered everywhere. It has been a mess every time I have gone in. I deeply regret giving this place my business. I shipped an item and insured it for what I sold it for, $350. Shipping and insurance to NY was $70+ which seemed high. Long story short, the product was damaged beyond repair, and they tried to deny my insurance claim because "the packaging did not meet UPS standards", though it was factory sealed in the manufacturing packaging, double boxed and double styrofoam. Two months later and I am still fighting for my money. I never get fallow up calls and notifications on the status of my claim. I have to call the store once every week or couple of weeks. Apparently the refund is on it way and I will be getter a personal check from the store owner???? This is a waste of my life and I will never be coming back. read more

I went to this store for an estimate at first, for shipping a large item I was thinking about selling on eBay. I asked for an price on shipping my item to Miami Florida, and he told it would be about $180. That seemed high, compared to what others on eBay were charging ($120-150). I sold the item on eBay, went to this UPS store to ship to Tennessee, and now the same guy (old guy there, with bad attitude) is telling me $234 !! I did not use this place, I went to the UPS Customer Center at 923 100TH ST SE EVERETT, WA 98208 and shipped my item for $98 ! That's $136 less, using the same company. I honestly can't remember the last time I've been so furious. I went here to have a package shipped to my daughter in Mexico. I specifically went there because I didn't want to go through the post office or Fed-Ex as there have been issues getting things to her using these methods. I also did some research and found that UPS was the best way to get things to the area she's in. The first time I went I discussed what I was trying to do and we discussed pricing. For a 10lb box, it was going to cost me $275.00 to get it there in 2 to 3 business days. I was prepared for that because I've sent things to Germany and I'm well aware that it costs a small fortune to ship internationally. I spent a few days getting the items together that I wanted to ship to her and was able to get it into a box at a little under 4lbs. Great! So I went back with my box. Now, with insurance, the cost was $179.00. Even better! I dropped the package on the afternoon of the 25th, which was a Tuesday. With fingers crossed, I was hoping it would get there by Friday the 28th. I understood there was no guarantee, but the issues started when on the 26th I went to the UPS tracking and found out that the tracking # didn't exist. I tried calling UPS customer service, was told they had no idea what was going on and I should call the store. When I did that I was told they "forgot" to scan it. He was going to look into where it was and get me a valid tracking #. On the 27th, I called again when I never heard back. Explained to the person on the phone what was going on, gave them my tracking #, and was told that it wasn't a valid UPS tracking #. I said, "Well it's the number on the receipt that you gave me!". The phone was passed off to the original person that I was dealing with and he gave me a "new" tracking #. Told me to just put it into Google and it would come up. So I did that and found out that USPS had it! I then tried calling back to find out why and they refused to answer the phone. My husband and I then went down there looking for an explanation as to why the post office had the package and he said he told me they were getting it. I specifically told him at the beginning that I was there because I didn't want to use USPS or Fed-Ex! At no time was I ever told that they were pawning it off to USPS! And nowhere on my receipt does it state that it's going through USPS! What it does say is "Global Express Guar." (which by the way I found out after some research that the "Guar" part is an actual guarantee that it WILL get there ON TIME or you can file a claim. Neither here nor there. I've never used UPS for international shipping before and had no idea that "Global Express" has nothing to do with UPS. If you ship that way it goes through USPS and then Fed-Ex! He also tried telling me that if I wanted to use UPS then it was going to be $275.00 and that he told me that. I was so mad at that point that at that point I'd forgotten about our original conversation where the $275.00 was actually for what would have been a 10lb box for the same 2 to 3 business days! Something I now know would have also gone through USPS and Fed-Ex. It gets better! As of yesterday, the 28th, the day it was supposed to have arrived at its destination, it had just left Seattle! And the only way to get your money back or to have them issue a refund and then recharge for the 5 to 7 days, or later because it's not getting there anywhere near on time, is to have them completely cancel the shipment, and then they'll "try" and get your package back. All of which, by the way, UPS is now blaming USPS for. Having said all of the above, the only other time I've gone to this particular store was just before Christmas when I shipped some items back east for the grandkids. At the time they were very short and rude, but I blew it off because of COVID and it being the holidays. I just assumed they were overwhelmed as many of us are. After reading several other reviews and having my own bad experiences with them, it's clear that they're just unprofessional and rude. read more

This is the worst UPS store I've ever been to. The men that work here have absolutely NO customer service skills. Every time I am here, they are sluggish, not helpful, and downright rude. One of the guys scolded me when I told him I asked if he needed my business account number after he had already started the order. "Next time, you need to tell me that first." When I asked if he was going to have to start all over again, he said no. He had already looked me up in their system and had all my information, so I had assumed he knew I had a business account. No need for that kind of rude remark. UPS is a great company. It's unfortunate that this location doesn't reflect that in the least. (EXCEPTION: There was an asian man who was very helpful and friendly the last time I was there.) read more

I just had the worst customer service experience I've had in years at this UPS Store! I had paid extra to have a package delivered to this store while I was away on vacation. Apparently, UPS tried to deliver it on a Saturday, and they don't receive ground deliveries on Saturdays. When I went in to pick up my package, they couldn't find it and then ALL 3 EMPLOYEES took turns dismissing my concerns and telling me different stories of where my package was and how it might be delivered. They interrupted me while I was reading the statement from the tracking number on the UPS website and one even walked away after asking me a question. I will not be using this location again.
