Walked right out and won't return, even though I live around corner. Service used to be atrocious under previous management but better bad than dishonest. (And you have to really want to use this location since it is nearly impossible to get to due to traffic patterns). UPDATE for 2024: This store is cursed. No matter who owns it, it's still terrible. Broke my vow and went back to make copies and to return an Amazon order. They find new ways to make life inconvenient. Shame on me for going back. To make copies, clerk insisted he had to make each copy for me. WTF? Forget using for Amazon returns --they "don't recycle" if you don't need a box/package and you bring one, and they are useless (they'll just turn you away) to predatory if you need original packaging and don't have it. This store is the worst ups store I ever been to. The Manager Amanda is the most clueless person I ever meet. She's lies to customers and she lies to her owner Richard. She doesn't know how to package stuff everything gets broken to to the lack of packaging when I paid 35$ for them to package. cost me 257$ in broken items worse of all I get the bad reviews on mercari I try them another time and the next day they still haven't shipped or package it. Then she gives a lame excuse why she has done it yet. Even the order contract thy have with Mercari pack and ship is its priority for them to do same day. Stopped by to have a prepaid UPS label printed and a Next Day envelope shipped. I had a neck gaiter pulled over my face based on the C-19 precautions. The black haired lady behind the counter asked me to step behind the blue line of which there were several based on the squares taped on the floor. I asked which blue line and she was obviously frustrated and slightly rude. We use to worship the people that ran this store up until a couple of years ago due to their courteous and helpful service. That level of service no longer exists. Ironically, my wife visited the UPS store in Manlius and could not stop complimenting the high level of customer service. I'll drive 10 minutes out of my way next time to support the Manlius store. read more

Every time I drop by this location, which is frequently, the ladies are always very friendly and very helpful. I've been to multiple other locations in the area and will go out of my way to use this location simply due to their customer service. It's also conveniently located across the street from Target, LL Bean, Tops, and quite a few other stores, to get all your errands done in one shot. read more

This used to be an excellebt UPS store when María was in charge. I don't know who is running it now, but it is pure chaos. Boxes all over the place, dirty, messy, disorganized. Today the employee asked me three times when I wanted my package to get there (I answered three times) bc she kept getting involved in other tasks and forgetting what I had said. She never asked if I wanted to insure my package or the value of my package. (Which I didn't realize until I got home). She waited on two other people during our 4 minute interaction bc she didn't understand how to finish with one customer before starting with another. read more

Never again, even though it is the most convenient location to me. Brought them a print job and wanted it in a week. Nothing! Called them a week and a half later. They "didn't have a chance to get to it" but never called me. Gave them a few more days. Nothing! Finally went in, got my flash drive back and took it to the Manlius Store. It was done in one day. Parking is also much easier at the Manlius Store. I understand things are crazy and I should give allowances, and I would, but not for poor customer service. read more

I have frequented this location for more than 20 years as I live close by. Not sure what has happened in recent months but there has been a total turnover in staff. The fantastic customer service provided by Maria and her crew has been replaced by too few unknowledgeable, unfriendly workers who don't care whether they wait on you or not, not to mention a significant reduction in the amount of packing/mailing merchandise carried by the store. This was my second try in three months to ship an item from this UPS store and my second failure. First, I tried to ship a starter pistol for the high school, the kind they use to start races. After several phone calls, they decided that it was a fire arm and would not accept it. Took it to the main UPS location and they accepted it without issue. Most recently, as I was walking in, the clerk said "we can't ship in a liquor box". FedEx was happy to get the $60 shipping fee. Think that I will just cross this store off my list, as much as I like UPS. read more

This place used to be amazing. Superior customer service and was always greeted with a warm welcome and an eagerness to help - that has drastically changed. The people who were once there all seem to have vanished replaced by a miserable group of grumps who barely acknowledge you. No thanks - I'll take my business elsewhere.
