My experience with this store has always been five-stars, and deserves my highest rating and recommendation. However, the store recently closed unexpectedly, leaving quite literally tens of thousands of Foley and surrounding areas with no store locally. Foley is the fastest growing city in Alabama and one of the fastest in the nation. To be left "high and dry", facing a 10 to 15 mile drive to a UPS store is disappointing and concerning. Store closed with no warning. Had packages that were to be delivered by USPS. Don't know where they are now except USPS tracking says they delivered to store (when it was closed..wonder how they did that). Rented a mailbox in store for a 6 month term....no info available as to how to get money back! Lousy way to do business...I'll think twice before using any UPS service in the future. read more

We have used ups stores in arizona before we moved here with great results . However , here is different. Went to send a one pound package to new york, chose ground( least expensive) . They wanted 62$!!!! What?? I left and went to the post office where, for a guaranteed delivery on Monday, it was 16.80 for the same one pound envelope. No more UPS for us. It's a local UPS store that does most all of the standard UPS stuff and I've been here to ship a couple times but came here most recently to have a document notarized. They are the only ones close to me that offers that service, my neighborhood shop does not unfortunately. A friend of mine posted that he actually stopped here to specifically get something notarized but the person who performed the service was not available. So make sure to call and verify that the notary is on duty. It's a hit-or-miss scenario however when it comes to employees, sometimes super helpful and friendly sometimes just the opposite I have heard a number of folks talk about the big prices, and angry about their experience. Granted $17 fir a small box, $7 to open a email and print off a UPS packing label, $7 to send a fax, etc. is a little pricey. My notary charge was $20 per stamp, so I get it. Bottom line: It serves a service, and be mindful that thisUOS Store, like most others, is an independent, not corporate, business and their prices and some of their business practices are individual to the store. Worst experience ever of UPS store I ever had nationwide; the Foley UPS Store is trash; staff was totally rude and unprofessional. And the most infuriating fact, they didn't put my return on my package (every other shipping store always has taken of putting on the return label for me) and the package would up being delivered back to me! UNACCEPTABLE!!! The entire staff needs to be removed and the owners and corporate need a total rebrand of this location!! read more

UPS store was a serious let down. Advertising a Notary. When I arrived told no notary present. Be in later but dont know when. Go to Gulf Shores store. Any closer? I dont know. Tried library and told try bail bond acroos street. No one present. Next went to our bank. They were able and willing. UPS diappointed. read more

I have had only quick , friendly, helpful service from the folks at the Foley UPS Store.

If a zero was available, that is what I'd give them as a rating. Employees are totally rude, unprofessional, and one is passive-aggressive, which is soooo untrustworthy!! Granted I arrived about 7 minutes prior to them closing, 3 staff at counter, one customer getting service, and all I needed was to put envelopes in the boxes (2 boxes) and tape them up. Someone asked, "what are we doing for you today?" I replied need to ship, while I'm rushing to get the boxes set. Another employee, loudly and passive, aggressively goes on and on about the whole day being horrible and, with emphasis and more loudly," all we want to do is get out of here and go home". Look, I get wanting to leave work, and I didn't want to be that customer, but I needed/wanted this stuff shipped; however, come on, so many other ways to handle a situation. Unprofessional!!! You're not closed, so suck it up buttercup and do your job, instead of being a complainer. If you can't be professional and decent with potential customers, GET A DIFFERENT JOB, it's not other people's problem you're miserable! I was ticked and no way, no matter I needed/wanted stuff shipped, was I going to be treated that way, but most importantly, the store wasn't going to get my money! I left, but before I walked out, I calmly said, "I will take my business elsewhere." The same passive aggressive employee said "good" and another said, "you don't have to do that". Every time I go here the staff are rude and make excuses why they can't take my package. Specifically they won't ship a hard igloo cooler (not styrofoam). I have to drive down the road to the Gulf shores UPS store every time to ship it. Just go straight to Gulf Shores UPS don't waste your time at the Foley store they are rude and lazy. read more

Looks like I'll be joining the long list of bad reviews for this store. I will refrain from commenting on staff specifically, that seems to have been thoroughly covered in other's reviews. My issue is with a return. I purchased boxes from this store, did not end up needing them and tried to return them the next day, but was told they do not return boxes. However, stated on the receipt is that items marked NR are not returnable, and those were not marked NR. That seems to indicate that the items I purchased would be returnable. When I asked if the return policy was posted anywhere, one of the employees shrugged her shoulders and told the other to call the manager. Manager told me on the phone that she would call the owner on Monday, for me to leave my name and number and she would get back to me. It has now been a week, I have tried to call the store numerous times, no answer and no way to leave a voicemail. I have emailed through their website, and reached out through their online form, but have gotten no reply. Very poor way to do business in my opinion. It's a shame. Just needed a simple refund, wasn't even that much money compared to the amount I have spent in this store. Been using this store since they opened, but will gladly make the drive to a different store from now on. Would definitely NOT recommend this store, based on this experience. read more

I find this so odd when covid was at its peak and there were no vaccines this store did nothing no masks, no real social distancing ..Now that the mandatory masks have been lifted and vaccines available , I find lots of businesses are more strict with masks and distancing , this is one of them..everyone in there had a mask on and there were markers on the floor to distance..everyone is still very helpful and friendly..just odd to me about timing of masks etc.. read more

Beware! No one behind the counter had a mask on! Bought one 12x18x6 box that cost $18.00. Ouch! The person helping me was very good though.
