I needed to return an Amazon item and UPS stores are one of the options for easy dropoff. Located in a little strip mall on Federal, this is a very easy place to get to. They have 2 designated parking spaces for UPS customers. When I walked in, I saw all the services they provide. Not only shipping but mailboxes, copying services, banners, cards for sale, etc. The guy behind the counter, easily scanned my QR code and he printed a label that he put on the outside of a ziplock bag where my item fit. Over price to Fax 6 pages. They charged be $3.65 for faxing, which was ok, but then the charged me an additional $6.80 for long distance charge. This is not 1980 when people paided to call the next city over. All land lines these day, include long distance ( next city, state and even Canada and Mexico). I have been using this location for shipping for some time now, and they were ok, but it's issues like this, that get under your skin, as this is a clear rip off. Shame on you UPS store. read more

I've been to this location several times and the lady at the front desk is always rushing people out, even when they're not even close to the closing time. I use to love this location. The two original employees (male & female) that run the counter were so nice. But recently they employed their mother or whoever she maybe- what a nasty human being. No customer service skills, she throws your packages on the floor, when you ask for simple request such a piece of tap- she reacts as if you have total inconvenienced her. I have recently had a horrific UPS shipping experience after ordering online from Macy's. A shame considering I have been a customer of both for over 30 years. I do much of my shopping now online most of which is handled by FedEx. Anyway, I requested home shipping and after single attempt the package was routed to some sort of drop off location on Dixie Highway. First it is customary to try to attempt to deliver a package more than once, typically three times. I was told by UPS, Macy's changed this policy with UPS because Macy's wants to save money. Apparently this is a cost saver. If you change from the ordinary course of business then you need to notify your customer. Home delivery is home delivery. Home delivery customarily is at least three attempts at home delivery. It seems fraudulent to change a normal business practice without first alerting the consumer. To add insult to injury and, the package was delivered to an establishment called "Food Store". A business in a rough part of town that doesn't even possess a proper name. The part of town that this bodega was in is known for extensive drug use. In fact, it houses a large number of rehabilitation homes and members of that community. Further this location is a block away from a strip club called "Flavors" that has been known for multiple shootings and murders over the last 10 years. The store smelled of urine and two filthy street folks sleeping in the parking lot. Home delivery is not bad neighborhood delivered. I am shocked that Macy's has chosen this cut rate shipping program in conspiracy with UPS that leaves longtime customers like me completely surprised and dissatisfied. Home delivery is not go find your package at an unnamed bodega in a part of town I don't generally fraternize. I would suggest that you offer an economy shipping option which includes package drop off in life-threatening neighborhoods and allow customers to pay a premium to get the benefit of their basic home delivery bargain. In the meantime I have no intention of either patronizing Macy's or UPS again. read more

very slow service....very unfriendly service....i asked specific ups questions and received very vague answers......would not accept usps mail..........every single ups store in the surrounding area gladly accepts usps mail as a courtesy........i guess since they dont make money off of that they don't want to bother......they act very independent ...no problem, they will not receive any of my future business ever again......... read more

They can never do anything if you have a corporate account. Tried to send me to the hub 20 mins away, when the UPS store on Dixie will do corporate accounts with no problem. This store is not accommodating and I do not recommend and I will never go to them again. read more
