Since first using this UPS location, I've been back about once a month shipping things out or doing the occasional Amazon return. The most recent time was yesterday and I kid you not, I was in and out within 1 minute flat. Though, even when there is a line, it moves quickly fast. The staff are super efficient here and each time I walk out, I have the confidence that my packages will be surely arrive to their destinations, safe and sound. Just be careful when pulling out back onto Merrick ave, as people tend to zoom well past the speed limit. read more

This UPS store is always quick efficient and helpful. The service is always great and any questions or concerns are always answered. I love that they will help you when a package is heavy and will quickly process any Amazon order. The pricing is OK but really it matters on how heavy your package is and how large the box is. read more

One word.. slowwwwwwwww! Two cashiers open and the line was not moving. I literally gave it 3 stars because 1. This is not always my experience and 2. Though they moved like snails, they were nice! Last time I came here I got excellent service. This time however.... Xavier was super nice and helpful. The other person in the store was on the phone and did not get off to help Xavier when there was a long line and the store had people lined up all the way outside. Xavier needed to ask the other guy what size box I needed because he wasn't sure. Xavier could not have been nicer. read more

I was slightly hesitant about coming here 15 minutes before closing on Saturday during my the Pandemic. Social distancing was being practiced, only allowing two customers in the store at one time. Fine with me I'll wait. Miguel who assisted me with my order was fast and efficient. He was able to inform me about other products and services to best meet my shipping needs. I was able to utilize UPS ground shipping and DHL. Who knew. Overall I had a good experience. I will definitely return. I have another package to ship. Original review: Poorly managed. The whole point of using UPS is to get a tracking #. Every time I ship through the Freeport, NY UPS Store, they fail to email me a tracking #. The last two times this happened, I received complaints from my customers. Also, they don't seem to care about measuring package dimensions properly. They just eyeball it, which annoys me because I end up paying more. The manager is easily distracted and is prone to making mistakes. UPDATE 2014: My last 4 visits went without a hitch, so I'm raising my review back up to 3 stars. read more

Miguel is usually accommodating and warm every time I frequent the store however, he was unusually rude on my last visit. I had a return to make via Amazon and didn't understand the process on how the gift receipt return worked. His assistant explained the process to me and he himself admitted that he didn't fully understand how gift receipts worked. Instead of explaining the process, he told me " didn't you just hear what he (his assistant)told you?" Then proceeded to point to a bar code on the wall. If I knew better, I wouldn't be asking for help. Everyone has bad days but that should never translate into how your customers are spoken to. It may be minor to others but to me that turned me off. I'm disappointed and would hope he doesn't treat any other customers like that. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Miguel and the staff at the UPS store. I needed to send a small package to Canada. Since I have never shipped to Canada before I was counting on their help. Instead of helping me by explaining the process they made me feel stupid for not understanding it. When I asked questions I would get snide answers. We finally worked through the process and then he quoted a different price than listed online. When asked to explain why there was a price difference he just stares as me like I was from another planet. His answer is "that's what the computer says". I left without shipping. Miguel was very unprofessional and I strongly recommend avoiding this UPS store. read more

I really wish I wasn't put in a position to write a negative review, as I've had good experiences at this location as a customer for some time especially with the front desk employees. But today's experience was just unacceptable to me. I think the taller white man with a beard I had this negative interaction with was a manager, but I didn't get his name. He assisted one of the front desk employees with a return I needed to send off. I had returned the same item recently before, but was surprised that this time there was a charge for packaging, and not the last time. It took me asking why just once before he got defensive right away saying "it doesn't matter what happened the last time," along those lines. There were other people in the store, so it was especially embarrassing and uncalled for. He also told me that's what it says on the retailer in question's instructions, but didn't ask me if I had been notified by them with the barcode I provided. After all this he still wouldn't tell me what they offered in terms of packaging, so I had to ask him because I wasn't prepared with any. He had cut me off to tell me they do for $, and "you can do that, right?" I am not upset about having to pay this small fee, but rather the way I was treated and spoken to in a belittling and aggressive manner. Afterwards, I felt like they had treated me like a child. I'm not sure if it's the way I look that set him off, but I can only guess. I did have my mask on, and was respectful of the space, so I don't know what I did wrong. Say what you will about me, but I wish they would understand it's not their intention that matters, it's the outcome. And I deserve to have high expectations of respectful service anywhere I go. I wish I had spoken up about it right there, but I didn't because I was in a bit of shock. I won't feel comfortable returning to this location. Please be mindful about the way you treat people, no matter what they look like or if they happen to have a question. read more

Came to this store after being treated badly at the Merrick store. Miguel, the owner, also operates the business was beyond a gentleman. He was helpful, insightful and went out of his way to make my shipment right even though what happened in the previous store was not his fault. They bent over backwards to make me happy and feel good about shipping my expensive item. I would recommend going out of your way to go here for any shipping needs you may ever have. read more

Myself and another customer were mailing to other countries which takes longer. Miguel double checked everything to avoid mistakes. I didn't want to write a negative review, but after standing in line today for nearly 30 minutes, and then getting an attitude from the owner/manager, I think it's necessary for him to get some feedback. I brought in three return packages, two of which needed to be taped up and had to have the pre-printed labels affixed to the box. Usually I do this at home, but I didn't have any tape. Instead of taping up the boxes, I was told with an attitude the box is "flimsy." I'm returning a box that was sent to me. What am I supposed to do about that? If you're not going to offer a solution, such as taping it up sufficiently, or offering another box, what's the point of pointing that out? Instead he taped up one of the boxes, with an attitude like he couldn't be bothered. Then he said: you need another box taped up? Again, like he couldn't be bothered. You're the "packing professional." Says so all over your store. Pack and be professional. Additionally when you tell a customer on the phone in front of your other customers standing in front of you with an attitude that you have 15 customers in front of you, you're not actually giving the impression that you care about customer service. He also walked away with an attitude telling me my receipt was there without handing it to me. I just don't get it. If you're understaffed, don't underserve the people that utilize your business. We're doing you the favor, not the other way around. read more

My packages are handling properly and they arrive within the estimated time frame. What's great is they also to print and graphic design work.
