The folks who run/own the store and work there are so kind and friendly. My complaint is about what they charge for. I went in to get a package shipped, and forgot to tape the box shut. For one piece of tape they charged me $2!!!! They charge $2 literally to tape up a small box. I just couldn't believe it. To me customer service goes a long way, and charging for stupid stuff like putting a piece of tape on a box is ridiculous. They also charge to print labels. I had the shipping label in my email, and needed it printed to put on the box, and that was another $2. One printed half page does not cost $2 in paper and ink. read more

This is always my #1 choice when I need to notarize, ship, copy or fax anything. Panna and her staff are incredibly helpful and always going the extra mile to make sure that the job is done. I have been going there for around a year, and even though I am only in there once a month or so Panna remembers me every time. FANTASTIC service. Panna Mistry is a wonderful lady who always cares about what her customers want. I've been coming here for years. I came in here for the first time in over a year and she recognized me based on my voice when I called in. I emailed them some images in a document to print in color and she printed it both landscape and portrait so I would have options when I came by to pick them up. Several years ago I asked her to do a large laminating job for me. It messed up because we both didn't know how to cut the paper first, so she redid it for me free of charge. Updated to add a star. I received a phone call offering to refund my cost, and I appreciate that. It shows a dedication to customer service, thank you. Unfortunately, by that time I was out of town and could not take advantage of the offer. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I feel deceived. The very courteous and professional lady sweetly provided an estimate of approximately $45 to box and ship a guitar to LA. That was cheaper than I expected so I said "Let's do it". After filling out the paperwork, she upped the cost to $60 or so, due to my declared value. Ok, that seems fair enough... Then, after it's all boxed up and ready to go I'm told it's over $100, due to the box and packing materials. When someone asks you for an estimate to pack and ship an item, you should include all costs. It is possible I could have asked more questions, but I feel she knew what she was doing, a professional shipping service provider. read more

This store deserve 10/5 rating :) This is my favorite UPS Store. i spend 15 minutes drive to get here, there's 2 other UPS store near by takes 5 minutes drive but i didn't like their service. This place is super clean. The owner super nice and always alert. One time i was new purchasing stuff online and send it here. They call me say my package arrived. Previous owner were rude, they did called me and they said "If you don't pick up your package soon, we'll send it back to UPS driver" with a tone. Also, compare to other UPS store for willcall, other UPS store will charge you between 15-25$ if you gonna have stuff delivered but this one here, only 5$ :) Great service, fast, helpful, and open to chat with. Outstanding service by Charlene. Charlene diligently followed up to get the job done. Even after I had dropped off the package, she called multiple times to make sure that a return-shipping-label error (seemingly on Amazon's end) gets corrected, the new label gets printed, and the package gets shipped in a timely manner. UPS on Mission is fantastic! They go above and beyond for their customers. Panna is friendly, honest and she really takes care of you. They are not about your money, I heard one of the workers tell a customer if she brought her own box, it would be cheaper to ship a item. I appreciate their honesty. Out of all the UPS stores I've gotten my mail at this store is simply the best. Everyone who works there has been friendly and helpful every time I've gone in whether it's a minute from closing or the start of the day. When I get big packages they always offer to assist, and the candy jar doesn't hurt either! Bonus convenience points - it's right off mission and there's a gas station when you turn into the shopping center. read more

The lady (British speaking Indian or someone-Shannon?) seems to treat each person differently. She never greets me yet greets everyone else. I was asking her to print something and she told me she couldn't as someone's using their computer. The first time I went, she had a problem printing it out too. I'm the one paying you. Today, I had to go reset all my passwords to finally get the damn printing label off their customer PC. I was confirming with her to make sure that the item was scanned ( I get that I got a receipt only because it was scanned in the first place) since Amazon asked me to confirm with UPS. I was recommended to this UPS store by a friend of mine, I was happily surprised by what great customer service they gave here! They are top notch and are extremely professional and friendly. I was searching for a job at the time and every time I went in, they always asked my how things were going. This store got new owner about few month ago. The new owner Panna, is about as good as an owner can get! I need to ship lots of items, not only they helped me lift boxes, they also helped me mail those irregular shaped items such as metal frames...etc. They also treat customer with respect and really makes you feel welcomed. Now with new owner at helm, this UPS store is about as good as one can ask for. Only if all UPS stores are like this one. I love coming to this UPS Store. The staff, especially Panna, are very nice and friendly. I actually look forward to when I have to send out packages because Panna is so kind and fun to chat with. They are prompt in serving clients, which is always good. My husband also has gotten notary services here. One fun fact: if you have extra bubble wrap or packaging that you have laying around, you can bring it to the store and they can give it to clients (free of charge) who may need to use it for their packages. read more

I head to the UPS Store #1640 since it's only a stone's throw away from my home. However, not only is this store conveniently located, but it also has an extra special bonus in its owner Panna and her team including Albert, Charlene, and Minh. Their kind of incredible customer service completely blows me away every time I am there. I grew up watching the TV series "Cheers," and this UPS Store is reminiscent of the lyrics from the "Cheers" theme song..."...Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name..." Every single person who has helped me has been welcoming, friendly, positive, and conscious of my time. At the storefront counter sits a container of candies patiently waiting for any kid who comes by after their martial arts lesson at the nearby school. Seems like the ownership has changed. Instead of the nice lady who I have interacted with several times before was met (not greeted) by a grumpy asian man. Asked me for $1 each for taping the amazon boxes. First I thought he joking as I have dropped the boxes at this location several times before and have never heard about this but turns out he was serious about it. Not paying $1 for a foot of tape! Will take my business elsewhere. I work at a small business in the area and have used the services of this store multiple times for sending packages and for the notary services but they just lost my business. read more

So one day as I'm out with some friends they take a look at my pathetic pair of shoes with the jacked up shoelaces and tell me I need to get it together and get some new shoes. I explain to them how finding size 15 4E is nearly impossible to do in stores and I'll have to order them but by this point they were ignoring me and talking more trash to someone else in our party. Cut to me 2 days later on zappos.com ordering some shoes and choosing expedited shipping to try to appease my critical friends and they arrive shortly after!! Hooray! oh no.. they didn't fit. Now I have to ship them back. I threw the box in the car and went about my day. And this is where the UPS store comes into play. I was over near the UPS store by Stevenson and Cedar and saw it had not-so-great reviews. I called them and asked if they had a computer/printer to print a shipping label and they rudely said "no we don't have that." I know what you're thinking.. "that sentence doesn't sound THAT rude" but believe me the guy was not nice at all about. I hung up and thought to myself how spot-on these yelpers must be in regards to this UPS store and looked for another one.. and this UPS store came up. This UPS store is closer to my apartment anyways and I was heading home, so I called them and asked if they had what I needed and the lady on the phone was SO FRIENDLY I ALMOST CRASHED THE CAR. Turns out they did have a computer for me to print a label from so I made my way there and felt like this was more a local mom-and-pop style shop with how nice and laid back everyone was there. I hopped on the computer, printed my label but before I was done the nice employees had already taken my zappos box and re-taped it shut and got it ready to go. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes and the two ladies working there were a dream come true. Moral of the story: Don't go to UPS near Stevenson and Cedar and be harassed by them.. come to this one and enjoy yourself read more

Can we say uber customer service? I needed to get a document notarized and so I made a phone call if they do notaries on weekends. The person who pick up the phone was friendly and inform me that they open 9:30 am but the notary person doesn't come in until 10:30 am. Brownie points for letting me know. I then ask if I could come right away, I was expecting a grumpy response (note 30 minutes til closing but I live 5 minutes away). Still friendly response and the lady inform as long I got there by 6:30, no issues. Arrived there and greeted by two smiles and the young man who did the notary was patient in explaining the two types of notaries done in California. Got it done quick and without any issues.
