Two ladies were working in the office this afternoon. The woman on the right was nice and helpful. I came in to ship a package, but they couldn't accept it because it was packaged incorrectly. I went to the packaging table by the door to fix it, but another customer was already using the right side, so I went to the left instead. Unfortunately, the woman on the left was extremely rude for no reason. She started yelling at me and was rough with my package while I was trying to get it ready to ship. I explained that my phone was taking a minute to load the QR code, but she kept insisting that I show it to her and continued raising her voice. There was no line either. It was a very unpleasant experience and made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. read more

Man what's up with the 3 star rating? Y'all are hard asses! I recently moved to the 'hood and had no idea this teeny tiny little post office existed. I had been driving the 12 minutes on the freeway to get to the bigger post office on Thornton. First world problems. I was pleasantly surprised to see this little outpost when dropping something off at FedEx. Being in a profession that still requires the use of fax machines and snail mail, having a post office nearby is clutch. And this location is so pleasant! Each time I've visited, the employees have been more than nice. Like, "I work on commission" nice. They take their time, explain to me my options, and handle my mail gently and lovingly. Then they circle the QR code and say, RATE ME HOE. And I'm on my merry way. Sometimes there has been one or two people ahead of me, but I never have to wait that long. I don't mind waiting. I had a very pleasant experience with this post office. This is a very small post office I've ever been. But their customer service was excellent! There was only one person in front of me in line. I was there for about 10 minutes because I didn't know how to ship the item and I the staff there was kind and patient with me. Tried to give me advice on the best shipping options. I didn't even know this Post Office was here! In a strip mall... Behind KFC next to Safeway. My husband knew it was. Lately I don't trust the standard blue box around the corner from my house. They are rounding them up to get rid of them! So now whenever I want to mail something I actually go to a post office. Fingers crossed our mail is safe at the actual Post Office. This one has drive up boxes in front... but, They are on the wrong side, the passenger side! Would be fine if someone is in the car with you. If you're alone you better park and walk it in. Also be careful not to drive down the dead end alley... It looks like you can get out the back. You can't! You'll have to back out into the tiny yet very busy parking lot...GOOD LUCK! read more

What a terrible experience.. where to start? I waited in a long line twice; once because the var code to the shipping label wasn't scannable, so I pulled up the bar code on my phone thinking they could scan it and simply reprint the label. Boy was I wrong, they made a huge fuss about something as simple as using 1 piece of paper or a sticker for a label I had already paid for. How cheap and embarrassing for them. I ended up going to FedEx in the same center and not only did the guy there print my label, but they even added some packaging to my box because I had extra room. And they did this all for FREE. If I'm not coming here to simply drop something off, I'll never come here again, as something as simple as reprinting a label shouldn't be a problem for a USPS Store especially considering it was a label for them. read more

Absolutely shitty ladies that work here. I usually go to another location. Be forewarned they don't want to do their work here. One of the brunette females was just yelling full ten minutes prior that they are closing in 10 minutes. If you work at the post office you should know most people end their jobs at 5pm, try to help whoever is within the building before closing vs be pricks. Needless to say they shooed away people before the darn place closes. They need better people working here who understand service. read more

As a Ebay seller, I'm always at this post office. It's small, but the staff is very helpful and always positive. Yes, there can be a line sometimes, but that goes for most places of business, right? For the most part, I'm in and out of this place. Parking is easy and there are some drive-up mailboxes outside. They don't have a large selection of 3rd party boxes like the other post offices, but they will have all the regular sizes that USPS offers. read more

A small USPS tucked in the corner of this shopping center in the corner of Warm Springs Blvd and Mission. I come here on a regular basis, yes, I use snail mail all the freaking time! I have to! EDD will not let me file it electronically! :P I swing by in the morning and it's never busy. The ladies are always smiling! This post office is a little small, but every time I've dropped by it hasn't been too busy or anything. I've normally been helped within 10 minutes or less (usually less), and I really like this post office. The employees here are helpful, nice, and willing to strike up a conversation with you on a slow day. I went in looking for boxes and the lady pointed out where I could get them, and that they were priority flat rate boxes. (Speaking of those, you should definitely look into those if you've been using your own boxes. They have a flat rate, a price that stays the same, no matter how heavy the things inside the box are!) This is my go-to post office. It's near me, but also near a lot of other restaurants and stores, and also right off the 680/880 interchange. Most people don't have the best of experiences at their post offices, but I have had generally good experiences here. I'd recommend this post office! read more

What an awesome location for Post office. The suite is tucked away in the far back of this large Walgreens/BurgerKing/Safeway plaza. (I think it's the last building) I practically lived in this busy Mission/680/880 area for the past 2 decades and never knew there was a USPS here. It's not advertised with large street signs, unlike other USPS. (maybe that's a good thing) Pros: 1) easy parking (as if you are going grocery shopping) 2) practically empty/no long in line when I went. 3) nice and sunny glare during winter, makes the associates all happy & toasty. While I'm just happily and cozily standing in line, basking in the warm sun, trying to get a two-second tan, before getting assisted in a nice, calm manner to get the transaction going. 4) they always offer stamps and you can preview for cool designs/limited editions. I scored some cool Disney stamps. read more

Kind of a small post office with only two counters, so the lines get kind of long in the middle of the day. However, the employees here are really helpful and polite. I was shipping a package internationally, and the lady at the counter let me come right back to the front after filling out the customs form, so I wouldn't have to get back in the long line! read more

When there's a line, it moves pretty quickly. I have never been there for more than 10-15 minutes at its peak time. The staff know and do their job. It's the people in line that don't have everything correctly filled out that backs everyone up. I am fortunate to have such a wonderful post office nearby! Oh and for those who have pre-paid packages (postage labels for your packages), they leave this by their main door for you to just drop off at your convenience! 4 stars! 1 star coz it just looks outdated. Post office is conveniently located near my house. There is not an automated postage /package mailing kiosk. Their supplies are not well stocked or kept up to date. Their is only 1 stamp vending machine that takes only coins. If you come here on the weekend you are pretty much SOL because their is nothing , absolutely nothing available to help you send anything. I prefer to go to the Main Milpitas post office by the prison for weekend services. Unfortunately, if you find yourself in line on a weekday at the Francisco Lane location, don't go at noon, this is apparently when everyone decides to go and mail their packages too. Three stars are given to the ladies who work in the service windows. They were really nice and despite all of the people they have to deal with they greet everyone with a smile. read more

It gets my mails and packages where it needs to go. Hmmm...decor? Not much...a table by the side with all the labels available. One window for a postal clerk to serve the ppl. A small area for private postal boxes in the corner. There are two mailboxes outside for cars to dropoff their mail. Customer service? Depends on the time of day and who was helping you, I guess. The last time I visited, I wanted to send a small present to my boyfriend who's in the Navy stationed in Japan, and the nice lady at the counter was kind enough to suggest a smaller box that would cost less, since my present didn't weigh much. I frequent this place quite often. Do not go within the last hour before close as everybody else will be there doing the same thing. Rushing to get their package shipped. All supplies are available and do not ask or accept plus service. The regular service shipment time will suffice. Plus service will just ding you for more money. Not necessary. I was assisted by Carol who had was so pleasant and went above and beyond to help me ship a vinyl record. She made a great suggestion for the box and made sure when i left i knew i had a tracking number and insurance. Compared to other post offices around the area, I had a good experience here. Some post offices dont have much parking or a really small parking lot. This one is shared with the safeway shopping center so plenty of available spaces. It's a pretty small post office as well, but it'll suit all your needs just like any other post office. The hours aren't as convenient as others also, i believe they are not open on weekends. Overall, the ladies are always helpful and friendly when i go there and haven't had any issue at all here. read more

As a parent of a US service member deployed in several countries last 5 years, I had visited more than 6 USPS offices around Santa Clara and Alameda counties to solve 1 confusing problem: how to fill out the form (and which form) to send care packages to my son and his Marine. Only this small office not only solved it but also did it with a smile. Others like the one on Quimby Rd San Jose CA in Eastridge Mall, and the one on Strawberry st, Fremont treated me like an idiot when I asked how to fill out the form although they gave me a wrong form (not form A) and then the package never arrived to my son. Only these good hearted people in this small office tried to help me out and greeted me (and other customers) like their friend. As the family of servicemembers we don't really care cliche "thank you for your son's service," we only need your caring heart. Just this morning, we received back a care package we sent 1.5 months ago at the main office in SJ as they insisted that we have to replace the form from A to R. Meanwhile the other packages I sent from this small office took only 3 weeks to arrive my son half the Earth away. Appreciation from bottom of my heart. read more

I learned if your package was mis-delivered, don't come here. Not only did I patiently stand in line to ask for help, I heard another customer arguing about cutting n line and racial slurs came out. Wow, there is a way to call out someone cutting in line without calling someone a terrorist, geez. When I got to the counter, a mean little old lady basically told me to leave with one a second "If you don't have a ticket, LEAVE!". Wow, seriously. It's not my fault your employees lost my package. I made the effort of standing in line the week of xmas to see where it was. I usually would re-order it with the manufactured but they said it was discontinued so I really wanted to try to find that package. That little old lady was a B*tch. I know it's the holidays and the lines are long but that is no excuse to be rude. I hope that lady gets some customer service skills and some holiday spirit from Santa this year. She surely needs it. This office and the attendants are worst customer service staff, has no accountability for improving service. Monday mornings are the worst. Opening time is 9am, but the staff looks like they just woke up. By 9:30am, I see that none of their cards/display stands are even outside in the lobby, then I see that one cashier now has to take out her tray/her-drawer of stamps from the back. Of course, I have been standing in line for 25 minutes, and yes when I first arrived a bit after 9am, there was one attendant, then after 15minutes another shows up for work. Heck, some easy job by the hour, that you show up for work 20minutes late. By the way, if you have paid for your package online and you just want to drop it off, don't trust that you can place your package anywhere in this lobby, because there isn't any bin marked or watched by them to be safe. Went to this post office because it was on my way to work. Post office opened at 9am, and employees there just started opening up the shop when I walked in. When this lady finally opened up the window, I told her that I would like to have the items scanned out the items I was dropping off. When she saw my prepaid postage, she said that I am from a different zip code. She pretty much told me you are from a different zip code; you should go back to where you belong. I have never encountered that kind of experience before in a USPS office. When I browsed around the internet, I believe small stores have to meet some quotas to stay opened. I would think that is the case, but who outside of UPSP would know that. If you want to drop off something, go to a bigger shop. Maybe even the UPS store across the street provides a better customer service for prepaid postages. read more
