The service here is a joke. I brought in documents to fax. They told me $2 for the first page, $1 for each additional page. (Ok, how ridiculous is this fee to fax- it's literally a phone call- but it is what it is) I was faxing loan docs to an 800 number, toll free. After waiting, I asked if everything was ok, to which a different person said it was taking long because it was 14 pages and LONG DISTANCE. I explained to her that 800 numbers are toll free and she argues with me stating that since she has to enter a 1 first, it was long distance. I told her that's not how it works as I waited for it to go through. When it finally went through I was charged $29 because she said it was "long distance." I tried to explain to her that's incorrect and asked for a manager but there wasn't any available. I paid because the other option was leaving without paying and essentially "stealing" the service and that's not really how I am. When I got back into the car my husband said they didn't explain to me a difference in price for local vs long distance and I go back in to get a refund. Thankfully, a different person, who knew what she was talking about, and tells me the other person was wrong (!) and that 800 numbers are considered local. Unfortunately, she can't refund my money because the manager is on vacation and she doesn't know when she'll be back. I had to leave a note with my name and phone number. This has been the first time that today's teen culture has shown me how oblivious they are. I'm sorry but her age really showed here. read more

Online appointment system for notary asks if you will need staff members to be witnesses for your signature. Well, I did need witnesses. Got to the store and they tell me the staff cannot act as witnesses. I told the clerk that the appointment generator specifically asks if you need staff members to act as a witnesses. She says "That's corporate, we're not allowed to." Obviously could not get my documents notarized. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

I understand they notarize by appointment and I'd understand if they were notarizing in the spot, but when you show up and and they're not busy and refuse to notarize because a scheduled appointment "may show up any minute". I pressed the plunger on the hand sanitizer on the counter. Dried product cause it to squirt a stream of sanitizer on my shirt and pants. I said to the cashier "Diane", that's a tricky hand sanitizer you have there. She replied in a snarky tone, "Life's tricky." I did not respond immediately and waited for her to finish the transaction. I then said, "You could have had a better response than life's tricky." Again, in a snarky tone she replied, "I'm working on it." I left without anymore words exchanged but her snarky, sarcastic attitude still bothers me. read more

I have 2 mailboxes at this location and absolutely love the staff. Been using them almost 4 years Both the owner and daughter are extremely friendly and seem to genuinely want to take care of the customer. I can't say I care much for UPS as whole, but this franchise is well run. read more

I made an appointment on line for a notary service and received a confirmation email, plus an appointment reminder. I arrived at the store and staff told me that there was no notary there. They also acted like I was wrong about the appoint and insisted I was at the wrong UPS store until I showed them my confirmation email. read more

I showed up a few minutes before the store was closing on a Saturday to drop off some directv equipment. The shipping was already paid for so it was a fast transaction. As I got out of my car I noticed one of the receptionists lock the door before closing. Once I got to the door and tried to open it and verified it was actually locked the receptionist guy ignored me knocking on the door. I knocked louder and he looked up and said sorry we are closing. I said it's not 4 yet. It didn't matter. When starting this review I noticed a lot of other terrible reviews. I guess ownership doesn't care or their kids are running the place. read more

I went to the UPS store today to drop off an Amazon return. This is a quick 1 minute transaction. When I got there, there were two people being helped and two in line in front of me. The time was 6:15 which is 45 minutes before they close. One of the agents finished helping a guest and then proceeded to start the close out of one of the two registers instead of helping the line of people that were now waiting behind a customer that had a time consuming transaction. You require masks and social distancing but you're ok with having people queue up in the store while one agent ignores the queue to close out a register? The one person actually helping customers was helpful and quick but you should reconsider priorities for your staff. read more

If I could give this Store and the Buckeye location no stars I would. I was given the run around just trying to get something notarized! I went to the Goodyear location on a Saturday and was told that the notary was at the buckeye location on Saturdays. So I went to the buckeye location only to be told that the notary was there but was unable to help me because she was already in overtime. I then called the Goodyear location to find out when the notary would be in on Monday. I was told she would be in at 8 am. Monday morning I was waiting outside before 8 only to find out that the notary forgot her book and I could come back later. Total waste of my time and gas! Will not be going back for any of their services! read more

Notary service. I have been using Post Net on Watson Road in Buckeye, for notary service for a few years now,and it is always $ 2.00. NOT at UPS. Today (Monday 8-6-18) I needed my signature notarized, one signature. $ 10.00 or 5 times Post Net. I'll Never be in that store again. read more

I had my fingerprinting done by Karla and she put my middle name in my last name spot. Now everything is delayed and I have to send it overnight because of her mistake. When I went in there you could tell she didn't know what she was doing. I asked for another associate and she said " I know what I am doing!" I just got the scans back in the mail because she did it wrong. They don't have the cards or anything to fix it but now I have to pay more money to make sure it gets there quicker because of her mistake. People that do not know what they are doing should not be doing the digital fingerprinting. They don't care because it's not them or their life or job. read more

This place is soooo RUDE starting with the manager Onkar. The system they run is extremely slow on one machine all the time so always expect to wait. I have had more than 3 incidents with the staff being rude, slow and impatient! I had a government package coming which I called to ask what I needed to do because what I was picking up was my personal identity. Which he so aggressively hung up on me after he shouted for me to stop shouting?! I have no idea what is wrong with this business. They CANNOT handle any type of stress LOL I called one day because I received an email it had arrived that morning which the owner hastily snapped "that shipment arrived this morning we have not gone through that shipment yet" this was at noon. It may be Christmas time -busy- but this business runs this way 24/7 and should be ashamed how they treat customers. Bad for business. I'd rather drive extra and pay more to boycott this business. Not worth one star. Went in with package to get cost to let someone know cost before I shipped pkg. went back next day and the price to ship was ,ore than twice what I was told. We got the price down and then he could not put the right Zip ode on pkg. Street address was Dr not red making a different zip. He refused to listen and I think he didn't change as pkg came back. I made a notary appointment online. When I arrived at the store the next day, I waited in line for 15 minutes only for them to tell me that they had no notary there that day. And they said they were going to call me to let me know, but they got too busy. Stay away from this UPS if you want reliable service. read more

They really don't deserve one star. I'm not sure what it is but I live in Goodyear it's seems most employees are from a different world. Everywhere else is awesome it seems except Goodyear employees. Anyways I was just getting(2) copies printed and after each page that printed a blank one would come out, so she the lady working not sure what her name is, she's the heavy set Hispanic lady who works there, now I'm Mexican myself so there's no derogatory statement being made. She charged me for 4 copies, which I paid, didnt complain just nicely asked if next time could she only print the pages with ink, lets not waste paper, because i am into the environment, and she rolled her eyes???? Now its only .9 a copy so it's not a huge deal, but she was rude and replied, "Well next time you do it and I'll charge you $3 then what. And if you don't like it go to another store... Wow... so I will, and I will tell you avoid this place FedEx is right on Dysart ans Mcdowell and there awesome, and there's another ups store on Van buren and Litchfield. I own a small business the occasionally ships items all across the US. I normally bring my items unwrapped and have the store box and ship the items. Depending on where these items go, the price normally ranges between $40-$60. When I was sick, I asked my wife to take the same items and ship them with a directions on what I needed done. The owner proceed to wrap and ship the items in huge boxes ( way larger than they needed to be) and charged my wife $126 for the same items I normally have them box and ship for half the price. When she asked him why it was so expensive he told he that they didn't have a smaller box and that was all he could do. When I confronted him the following day Ian's sacked why he would take advantage of my wife, he responded and told me and my wife (her standing next to me) that my wife must be lying and he only package the item the way she requested. I now drive twice the distance to the Dysart Rd. FedEx store for shipping. read more

They had the boxes I needed so I was happy about that, but the lady that helped me was not friendly. Maybe it was because it was towards the end of the day, but that's not good for business. I was looking for a particular size of box and didn't see it. So I asked for more options and was given a sheet to look at with sizes/pricing. There were a couple I was looking at and I guess I got my brain mixed up with the sizes/pricing, because when I checked out the total was slightly higher than I expected. So I asked and she snapped and said no the price is 3.50 for each box. I tried to brush it off, but was flustered because I was taken back by how she responded to me. As I was paying I put my credit card in the chip reader on the wrong side, and had to redo it. At that point she rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. Unfortunately, this just wasn't a good experience overall. You can say all the right things being in customer service such as, have a nice day, or have you been helped yet, but your actions and how you treat the customer is what creates the overall customer experience. I stopped in to this UPS store to send some things today and I was outraged at how badly one of the employees treated a new hire there. She spoke to her so terribly and the new girl seemed very embarrassed. I felt very bad for the girl. I have been in this location before so I know the young girl with dark hair, a mustache and glasses has been there for quite some time. She should know better than to think that someone new will know absolutely everything when they have only been there for a short time. I feel the management here needs to step up and train their employees to be better human beings. If one of my employees treated someone like this, they would be fired. The UPS store charged me $99.25 for a package that corp. UPS told me they should have only charged me $34.00 for. The corp. UPS said that the UPS stores are privately owned franchises and they can charge what ever they want. So dont use a UPS store, Just call corp. UPS and save alot of money. read more

I'm an easy-going person and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. And I know the public can be hard to deal with at times. But I have to agree with the others who commented on the rude employees at this store. I had a last-minute notice that I needed to sign some documents, have them notarized, and overnight mailed that same day. In searching for notaries in Goodyear, I found that UPS has a notary AND could overnight the package. I was told the notary would be in until 6p, but come in before 5p to get the package shipped. I asked if I needed an appointment and was told no. I took off from work early to address this situation and arrived at the store at 4pm. No notary. She had already left for the day. Fortunately we found a notary next door at the Safeway; Rubin who works for Western Union. He is an extremely nice, polite young man, unlike the girls with orange eyes who work at UPS. I'd been to this store a couple times before and staff were rude, but I excused their behavior as the result of being very busy and possibly immaturity. Thankfully there are plenty of other reliable businesses that offer the same services in a more customer-friendly atmosphere than this UPS store. read more
