Over the past three months, I have had very unpleasant experiences at the UPS store in Greenbrae. I have been a loyal customer at this location for years and never had any issues until recently. The once friendly and helpful staff seem to have been replaced by unmotivated and unprofessional individuals. On Saturday, December 28th, around 2:30 PM, I visited the UPS store to return some packages to Amazon. I had carefully separated the packages to avoid any errors, but the employee assisting me mixed them up. When I pointed out his mistake, he blamed me, claiming that I had confused him. Despite my repeated explanation that the first two packages had Amazon codes while the third required a printed label, he remained disorganized. I then asked if he was new to UPS and suggested that he double-check the codes to ensure no further mistakes. Instead of apologizing and correcting the issue, he grew impatient and continued to blame me. I defended myself, saying, "Your mistake is not my fault; you were not paying attention to my explanations." CONFLICT - At this point, another employee--tall, strong, brown-skinned, curly black hair", intervened (physical description of him because I don't know his name. I am a brown-skinned and curly black hair too). This individual, who has consistently demonstrated a negative attitude during previous visits, accused me of "harassing" the first employee. His accusation was completely unwarranted, as I was merely trying to clarify the employee's mistake regarding the codes and labels. When I asked for assistance with sending the UPS email to print the Amazon label, this second employee responded rudely, repeatedly stating, "We do not work for Amazon," and insisted that I pay for the printing service (I paid $2.56). This isn't the first time he's told me he doesn't work for Amazon when I've asked for help. Such comments are unprofessional and inappropriate, especially since UPS is partnered with Amazon to handle these types of transactions. If assisting Amazon customers is viewed as a burden, perhaps UPS Corporation should reconsider its partnership with Amazon rather than allowing staff to project this dissatisfaction onto customers. MANAGEMENT - The situation left me feeling extremely stressed, so I requested to speak with the manager to help me send my packages correctly. To my surprise, the manager who also addressed my concerns was just as unprofessional and rude as the two employees. It seemed he had already taken the employees' side, treating me as if I were the problem. As a store manager, I expected him to approach the situation with fairness, professionalism, and respect, but that was clearly not the case. This embarrassing and frustrating experience has led me to decide never to return to the UPS Greenbrae. As an Amazon member, I will contact the company to report what happened. I will request that the UPS store in Greenbrae be removed from my list of preferred locations for returning packages, as the employees have stated that they do not work for Amazon and therefore provide service unwillingly. TRAINING - I strongly suggest that the staff at this location undergo retraining to improve their service quality. As UPS or Amazon customers, we deserve respect and competent assistance. Unfortunately, it seems UPS Corporation has allowed untrained and unprofessional individuals to represent their brand. If the store has internal cameras, I encourage them to review the footage of my visit. I arrived at the store politely, but the behavior of the staff caused unnecessary stress, and I simply defended myself against their unprofessionalism. read more

This UPS Store is full of unprofessional and disrespectful staff. My experience with them has been consistently terrible. First, I called to track a package I shipped from this location that got lost in transit. A man at the store repeatedly told me to call the main UPS number, and when I asked for the nearest UPS center, he got angry, claimed, "I don't know, I own this store and San Rafael and Novato," and then hung up on me. Another time, I went in to make an Amazon return. A man in a beard and a Warriors beanie became hostile when I asked for help, saying, "I don't know, you need to have your codes ready before you come in this store." When I asked for a manager, he said, "I don't know, he's not here, call him tomorrow," while another employee just chuckled. The worst part is what happened to my daughter. She went to make an Amazon return and noticed a creepy worker he also reeked of some substance staring at her in an inappropriate way. This experience completely shattered our trust in this location. I usually go to Corte Madera and they always warn me not to go to that store because it's not as good as they claim to be.. and they are absolutely correct I will never return to this store, and I strongly caution anyone else from going there. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND DON'T COMPENSATE PEOPLE FOR their IRRESPONSIBLE, ILLEGAL, FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR! The manager of this store, MATT STONE, seemingly with the owner, Chris Dempsey's blessing, continues to accept mail for me and either trashes it or simply holds it. Then they lie about it. They should NOT be accepting any mail for me; They do not return to sender; They do not reject the mail (I gave up my box over 1 year ago); They do not tell me there is mail; They do not forward my mail. I now have more PROOF of this, which has been going on since July of last year!!! Most recently: they STOLE my DMV papers and auto registration cards. **DMV sent it there by mistake. Disaster! My Box of baby clothes for my granddaughter was LOST by Ups. They continued to insist it was delivered...well no they did not!! Past experience has taught me that I won't receive more help but this store's manager proved me wrong. Not only did she give me service that I never expected from Ups but she took the time to apologize and explain how she would fix it. Last week I came in right when they opened...she was extremely patient with the special needs customer ahead of me. And she had laryngitis but did her best to communicate and even with a whisper she did! Promptly I was helped and now the cherry on top: she contacted me and told me I will be receiving a full refund. Only 4 stars not 5 because Ups did lose my package but the manager gets a full 5 stars from me. read more

Store is pretty decent there's three people I like there one of them was the manager I forgot what his name was but he's really helpful and another person name Jeffery I think he's a nice helpful person was good on my notary and this young light skin brother helped me with my order to New York I just didn't like the other black kid who was acting like he own the place and kept interfering with my shipment when the other one did it very much correctly but he got mad at him or something and gave him a hard time about it over one simple question saying "you gotta remember this" and all this other crap like cmon he just did it right the first time why act like the store owner manager or the actual owner needs to look into him he's a little to rude.. read more

This UPS Store completely failed me. They lost my package and the manager didn't even bother to file a claim for months. I had to call the main UPS number myself just to get the process started. On top of that, the customer service here is terrible -- the people working were extremely rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, they even smelled like weed while helping me. Totally unacceptable. I will not be trusting this location again. I will be taking my business with Corte Madera they were right to inform me never to come to this location. read more

This store just continue to disappoint if I can rate it 0 I would the manager always has an excuse to leave early I he said the day before Here's on mons-Thurs till 4:30 and he's always gone before than this is ridiculous he was suppose to help me with a claim and he's never there most times I call this store needs new management asap if a manager can't stay the hours he promises customers to stay then he needs to find a new job and not be a manager ever again this is ridiculous and super lazy work #firethemanager read more

I love using this UPS store. I know the owner and he always finds the best customer service employees. This location was recently remodeled and looks great. I discovered the other day that they have NO MARK UP on their UPS shipping!!! amazing..it is just as cheap to go there as the UPS office itself. At least 30 to 40% cheaper than any other shipping outlet in the area. I also use them for my WINE shipping (all 50 states) as well as my personal notary (on staff at all times). HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!! read more

This store needs to be reported immediately the manager is jut lazy and doesn't know what in the hell he is doing he always smells like marijuana in the store had a rude attitude and he's just a low life I will never ever recommend this store unless they get a new manager he's a useless idiot! This stores owner and manager need to be reported to the state because this store is ran by a bunch of mindless dumb and rude Marin high school teens this one kid name Jack was so clueless on how to do my order and kept asking for help and another teen was In the back smoking a bunch of pot of marijuana I could smell it from the back this place needs to be reported and the owner doesn't care about these issues very upsetting ! read more

This store is great I love the people here and especially this one kid who helps me a lot in shipments he's a nice tall young man who I believe is still in high school he gave me the best options for shipping stuff and they get there safe and sound and the manager is nice as well to and another young man with blonde hair who is very nice and treats all customers with care I really recommend this store! Have nothing but great things to say about this store. Been a staple stop for my errands at Bon Air for years with its perfect location right off the freeway. The owner is as sweet and helpful as can be, and I have never had anything but great service from the employees. Love not having to worry about any of my mail/shipping/copying needs! Nicest place to ship in Southern Marin. Very Recently Renovated. Super easy parking, convenient location right next to all the shops in the Bon Air shopping center. Staff is really friendly, knowledgeable and above all trustworthy. This place is great. read more
