Ive been here twice in the past year or two and had a bad experience both times. Gave them another go today and was disapointed once again. The customer service is non-existant, they are not friendly and quite aloof. Service here has always been spotty, but now the employees have taken to verbally harassing customers who do not wear a mask. Today I was the only customer inside and was in the store for less than 15 seconds (to check mailbox) before the harassment began. The employee actually threatened to withhold my mail, and said I had come in the day before w/out a mask. (I was not in the store the previous day.) She raised her voice to me and was extremely unprofessional. The sign on the door says "please wear a mask," not "masks are required.) When I walked outside, another customer pulled up to me and asked if had been harassed for no mask. When I said yes, she said the same thing had happened to her. This franchise owner needs to decide if he/she is interested in keeping paying customers, and if so, should train his employees in customer service and ordinary manners. read more

If you have the option of choosing another UPS store for Amazon returns, I suggest you do so. 10 days and waiting for them to process my Amazon return. When I call for information I get the same answer, we're waiting for Amazon boxes. When I ask if I can come pick up my package so I can make the return myself, I'm told that isn't a possibility. read more

I advised I wanted to make sure due to expensive nature of the package. I waited and asked for the box to do it myself. She then excited another customer to make comments to me. Very rude and ugly. Wet unprofessional as I waiting to ship a package there were 3 people on staff when I walked in wasn't greeted or acknowledged (which is ok) just know my position in the line. As I wait 2 were working other was talking with friends I guess, this for me was in and out but seemed to be more of a struggle. Pay more attention to the customer. Also the receptionist put in wrong information on the ticket (probably busy texting on the phone). I got a notification saying my package was ready to be picked up but the girl at the front told me to come back tomorrow, saying it's not ready. She told me that they have to scan packages when they arrive and that they havent done it yet, like that seems a bit lazy to me. what's the point of recieving a notification stating that its ready when you're tellin me its not?? read more

I come to this location all the time to mail stuff up to NY. I have a UPS account, so all of my stuff is tagged and ready upon my arrival/drop off. For the people that are giving one star, and saying the staff is rude, I can see why...I routinely observe folks that do not have their items packaged, or act as if it is their very first time experiencing shipping of any type. If I were the clerk, I would lose my cool with these people too...As for my personal experiences, they've always been good. If you have your $#!% together, you get treated as such...if you don't, well then that is your own fault. Don't blame the clerk for treating you like a toddler when you are acting like one. Adults should be past the coddling phase...but in this day and age, I see it reaches well past their 30's...perhaps it's all those adult children who've been rewarded for their tantrums all their lives... The only reason why I gave one star is because I had to! This place is THAT bad! And the only reason why I'm sure there are good reviews is because the Manager, Claudia was not there! I was disgusted by her service, or lack there of, and the way she talks to people! She is VERY rude, condescending, talks over you, belittles employees in the presence of customers, and COMPLETELY lacks customer service skills! I am appalled that the UPS brand would allow someone such as herself to run a store! It appears the other people who work there are nervous, like they're walking on eggshells when she's there! I feel like I've visited this office once a week for the past couple of months, thanks to my addiction to Amazon and buyer's remorse. They are always so quick and friendly to help me with my returns. Today, I had 4 items to return, but forgot one of my return print outs. Without skipping a beat, the man helping me said to just email it to the store, and they'd print it out for me, free of charge. The UPS Store in the Heights off 19th is the absolute worst! DO NOT go there. Not only is the staff unfriendly the manager is worse. I used to work for a franchise location and they are capable of printing labels. It's part of their operations. They told me No. I would have to do it at home. Then they lost a package and damaged another. All to have the manager say they could do nothing about it. The UPS location off of Ella is the best and has the greatest customer service. I'll drive the extra distance to have proper service. So sad how bad things are these days. This store is useless. read more

Absolutely the most horrible customer service I've experienced anywhere in Houston. I went to go return a package and I had the return shipping info on my phone in an email. I show the kid at the counter the email and he just points to the customer computer and says the computer is down I can't help you. No let me see if there's another solution, let's see if there's a way you can leave your package and come back later nope. Sorry I can't help you so go lug your package back home. Worst customer service. Instead of servicing customers, staff is focused on being mask police! As I approached the store a man was leaving, he informed me that you must wear a mask or they would refuse service as they did him. I read the sign on the door that said "must wear a mask." I looped a mask on my ear and entered with Covid vaccine card in hand. Was promptly greeted by a snotty employee who told me to put my mask over my mouth. I showed my card and informed her I was fully vaccinated. She told me to put my mask on properly or she would refuse service. I asked why I was required to wear a mask if I could prove vaccination. She then replied they are a private company and could require masks if they wanted. I then asked what the reasoning was behind this requirement her response was, "I don't know". I then questioned "why should I have gotten the vaccine?" Her reply again was she didn't know. Then she told me to keep my comments and thoughts to myself. When I inquired if she was trying to take away my freedom of speech she refused service. I proceeded to go to the UPS Store on Waugh Drive where my maskless face was greeted by a warm "hello, how may I help" and great service!!! In and out 2 minutes. This is by far the worst delivery service. The drivers are very incompetent. I live in an apartment complex and the company keeps saying my leasing office will not sign for my packages. This is very odd because they sign for all of my other packaged from the other delivery services. What a load of crap. This company needs to be put out of business. UPS is 100% incompetent. They consistently claim my address is incorrect and without putting forth the iota of effort at attempting to contact me...they ship my packages back to sender. No other shipping service has ever had an issue finding my address. This specific UPS store is filled with unprofessional trainees who are more concerned with joking around with each other than helping the long line of equally dissatisfied customers that are stacked up like sardines all the way out the door. When I explain the issue I am having, they say "There is nothing we can do, you have to call corporate". Ok......I call "Corporate" and they claim to open an investigation into the issue and never get back to me. Meanwhile my packages are on a round trip merry-go-round from hell on some brown truck with an even more incompetent driver that can't seem to locate normal addresses in the middle of Houston.
