I have been to this UPS location about 5 times in last 4 months and have always been treated well, greeted pleasantly and received the answers to my questions with no attitude nor impatience even though she gets the same questions probably fifty times a day. She helped me pick out correct boxes for heavy cast iron and has wrapped boxes one time with a little of their tape and did not make me buy tape. I highly recommend them.

Broken pig

I took an antique piggy bank into this UPS store to be packed and shipped. The person who waited on me, I found out later was a manager at the store. She was rushing as a line was forming and she didn't even ask me if I would like to put insurance on the package, which I had every intention of doing. I asked her if I needed to take the box back that I had brought the pig in with and she told me no that she would put another box around it to make it double boxed for added security. She was supposed to add bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts also, but none of that happened. She took the box with the pig in it and set it on the back counter and when she returned she assured me she would take care of it. This package was being shipped from Huntsville AL to Birmingham AL. She said it would be delivered the next day. Fast forward 2 days, I get an email from the recipient with pictures, the pig was in a thousand pieces still in the same box I took it in with no packing or extra box in sight. Needless to say I was livid. I took the pictures and went back to the store and the same girl was there who had waited on me before. I told her I needed to speak to the manager or owner. She stated she is a manager so I told her I would not talk to her that she was the problem so she said the other girl there was also a manager so I talked to her. Getting to the bottom of the problem they told me that an "intern" who was new had packed this package, which in reality the only thing he did was put a piece of tape on the box I had brought it in with. Now here is the kicker, I was told that since I didn't buy additional insurance I am only supposed to receive $100. plus reimbursement for the cost of sending it. I think that the manager should be fired or at least put on probation. The person who packed it should be trained on packing fragile items. I WILL NEVER USE UPS again for pack and ship.

I absolutely do not understand the ratings. I have had a mailbox there for a decade and have never received anything but stellar service.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The delivery driver keeps delivering packages to the wrong…read moreaddress for just about everyone in our neighborhood. It's almost as if they intentionally deliver every single package to one house in our neighborhood and is expecting that homeowner to deliver all of the mis-delivered packages to the rest of our neighborhood. Ridiculous! Here is his photo from a screenshot that I took from my camera footage. Here, he is delivering my 'neighbors' package to 'my' house. He also left the package in the driveway instead of leaving it on my covered front porch or my covered side porch where I have a package delivery box. At this point, I don't think retraining would help. He should be fired. Where do they find these people??? People should stop using FedEx and make them suffer the consequences of hiring lazy, incompetent people just to have a warm body and prompt them to start hiring people again who will actually do the job they were hired to do and do it right. Be the solution, not the problem! And if you are this delivery driver and you are seeing this, SHAME ON YOU SIR!!! Or if you know this guy, tell him to DO BETTER!!! And I am still waiting on a return phone call from earlier this month regarding my missing package. Won't hold my breath on that because they clearly give zero cares.
