Took my son's laptop (brand new gaming in original packaging), a computer backpack, a gaming mousepad, Xbox controller, and 2 new shirts here to have them boxed and sent to my son at his military base. It took the guy six tries to spell my son's name correctly (spelled it J-a-c-k-s-x-n, and then deleted his last name, then made everything lower case...) after I spelled it every time for him, and he even spelled Phantom, f-a-n-t-o-m and couldn't figure out why it didn't like the address. Then after paying $56 for this box and another, he tossed the pile on the counter behind him and told me to have a good day. Um, no. I looked at him and said "I'm not leaving until I see those packed". What does he do? He disappeared in the back with the pile (out of sight) and then reappeared with the box closed and sealed. Seriously!!!? I rolled my eyes and stormed away. Dear owner, employees need to show a person their stuff in the box and seal it IN FRONT OF THEM!!! If everything does not show up complete and on time, owner, employee and I are gonna have a come to Jesus moment! Yes, I insured the package, but it's not like they list the inventory. read more

I dropped off high value packages and bought insurance... the box never left the store, insurance paid just $30 more than the shipping cost! Cost $140 to ship, bought $500 ins. Received $160. The package had sentimental items that can NEVER be replaced, being sent for my daughter's birthday - her dead grandmother's wedding ring set, costume jewelry, childhood charm bracelet, cowboy boots!! Ridiculous to learn they NEVER SCAN THE ITEMS AS THEY LEAVE THE STORE! They do no audit/tracking, took in 100 packages today and when truck comes to pick up - no count of # of packages picked up. USPS for all important items now. They are not scanned until they are unloaded at distribution center!! Package never scanned at JAX center. Fought for months to get this addressed! Still so angry to have my daughter's package stolen from us by those working at the store! read more

My UPS package was never given to UPS. After one excuse after another, and having UPS contradict every excuse they gave, I called the police to file a report as UPS insurance won't cover it - because UPS never received it. Even the officer summarized that my package got lost in their store and was never provided to UPS. The package contained high value items. I went into a this store to ship a valuable item to NJ and frankly I didn't even know where to start. The manager and staff of this store were so helpful and pleasant. They took their time with me to make sure I understood what I was purchasing. The manager suggested I buy pack and ship guarantee service. I dropped off an Amazon return on 9/8 and it is showing that it is still sitting there. the person I spoke to said they put all small packages in on box and then don't bother to update the individual tracking numbers. he said they have issues with UPS and Amazon. I asked then why are you continuing to operate this way? he said he didn't know, I asked for the manager and s/he is out until Monday. When I drop a package at the UPS store - My package has been secured and the shipping label is already on it and ready to go. I have never had any issues with this location. When you drop off a package you can also request a receipt just for confirmation if needed. My only complaint about this location is how long the walk is from the parking area. I'm sure you could just park next to the side walk and walk in but I'm sure you can get cited so I'd rather get my exercise and not chance it. read more

It's usually a bit slow but the staff is friendly. While waiting in line with a stool to return to amazon I heard Jordan, which I'm not sure if he is a manager, notarizing papers for a woman. There was an issue but he was sympathetic and helpful to her. When I got to the counter there was an issue because Amazon wanted the stool in a box, which I didn't know about. Jordan told me that a box would likely cost more than the item. Without me saying something he said "wait" and ran out back and found a box they got in yesterday and we're going to throw away. So he saved me money and time and I appreciated that. read more

I wanted to say how friendly this UPS store is! When I walk in, I'm always greeted with a smile and How can I help you today? Ben, the manager has always been helpful with my packages to send up North and they've always arrived safe and on time! All his employees have helped me since I've been going in there. Jordan, Megan, Gabby and Roy all are friendly and very experienced with all my shipping needs! I used to go to the USPS in the Circle K and they were not as friendly and the line was always long. This UPS store, even when the line is long, esp during the holiday season, they work hard to get you out the door and on your way! I am writing to report fraudulent activity at the UPS store at the following address: 9526 Argyle Forest Blvd Ste B2, Jacksonville, FL 32222. The owner Benjamin Lelina tried to charge me to return an Amazon package. The story is as follows: When I entered into the store Mr. Lelina asked me if I was dropping off an Amazon package. I told him yes. He asked if I had a label. I told him I did not. But, I told him that the returns section on Amazon stated that I didn't need a label when returning a package at a UPS location. All I needed to do was bring in the package and my Amazon return code. Mr. Lelina stated that I needed to email the store the return label. He would then print the emailed return label. He said the price to print the label was $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page. What? I have never heard of having to email a return label to an Amazon drop off spot and them charging me to print out the mailing label. So, I took my packages to a UPS store farther down the road. Needless to say, this UPS mailed my Amazon packages free of charge. Can you imagine how much money Mr. Lelina is making off of defrauding unsuspecting customers that are just trying to return Amazon packages? Can you imagine the number of Amazon returns that come through that store? Mr. Lelina has found a new hustle...charging customers at least $2 a pop to return Amazon packages. I hope UPS puts a stop to this fraudulent activity. Regardless, I will not return to this location. read more

So I shipped some packages from the store and they were damaged during the transit. Tracked the packages and a notification stated the store would contact me. That was two weeks ago so I called the store and the store manager yelled at me and then hung up the phone. So today I called UPS to do a claim and to find out that the store started a claim on my package something they didn't pay for at all. So when I went to the store I found out that if they don't pack your package and it gets damaged even though they say they insure it, it's not insured unless they package your item. That's how they make their money by having you use them to package your items. That is straight garbage and it's not on the receipt that your package isn't insured unless they package it. read more

I've never had a problem with shipping anything from here. The staff are friendly and I enjoy chatting during my quick trips. They are well stocked with all needed supplies and get you in and out. No long lines and prices are reasonable. I'm glad I can drop my USPS packages versus driving all the way to the USPS location. read more
