The only thing this store is good for are it's notaries.. and even that is expensive considering you can get them free on post at your unit. I tried to send cookies back home to Alaska and I am not joking when they quoted me a price of $300 I asked for the least expensive option and they said it would be $107 to send a box of cookies back home. Save yourself some money and go to the United States Postal Service. They have flat rate shipping boxes and bubble wrap you can purchase there. I have been going to this store for a couple years and by far this is the best crew! The 3 girls that work there are always so friendly and helpful, and know how to make me laugh! I always feel so welcomed every time I stop by. Only downside I have noticed is that it can be extremely busy for them. I came in for a passport photo earlier this morning with my tiny human. Renee and Katie were on shift. Renee would not stop harping on about someone named Gaby who she believes to be incompetent and felt that her anger would be justified if I heard this. Renee cussed in front of my kid multiple times during her anti-Gaby rant all because she had to wait for a few photos that printed in error. I thought that Katie was the manager, and was somehow trying to do the right thing, and just let the poor woman rant because she was never properly trained up on the fundamentals of professionalism. I've used this store a couple of times for work related shipping, and it has always been reasonably painless. Today I brought in all my Comcast cable and modem equipment to ship back to them, since we recently moved. Comcast sent us boxes, bubble wrap, some shipping tape strips, and no useful instructions. Thankfully Hannah at this UPS Store made sense of what Comcast phone help could not. Hannah was very helpful, and her assistance with this was much appreciated. Walked in and was told I couldn't collect my package, which I needed ASAP, because they hadn't "processed" it yet. It seems ridiculous to me that I could literally see the pile of packages that had arrived that morning behind the desk but I was told to come back right before closing to collect. I'll be shipping to a residential address from now on, that way I won't have to wait for my package when it's convenient for someone else who didn't pay for it. read more

My husband went in to this store to utilize their notary services. First of all, the woman helping him got upset that he needed something notarized. She proceeded to call him a "donkey ass" for wearing a Denver Broncos hat and speak very poorly of another young woman working in the store calling her names. The woman was not wearing a name tag, so we are unable to report this incident to the owner. Overall, very unprofessional. read more

I've been selling, shipping, and dealing with UPS stores for several years now. 12 years to be exact. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely. I am aware that UPS stores are franchised so some may offer different services than others. That being said, I always ask employees questions about other services that other UPS STORES offer that they don't and are NOT aware of. When I do ask about other services like, regular mail shipping options and media mail shipping options instead of spending $12 to send a DVD I sold on eBay for $5. They always look at me crazy as if I think UPS Store is USPS. I have been to locations where they not only offer USPS flat rate options but also regular mail and media mail shipping. The employees are never patient when answering and they always get attitudes. Even the manager got smart with me when I took a picture of my package (which I always do, so my customers have a visual of what the package looks like when I send it). Pretty much this location is lacking in customer service, which is top tier in my book of requirements for establishments that conduct business. Of course my items ship to my clients no problem because it's an arm and a leg to send and UPS as a whole is a great company but I think a closer look should be done at this location. If a customer is asking a competent question and getting several incompetent answers from so-called professionals, is t this a problem? read more

Stephanie at the JBLM UPS Store is awesome and super helpful! My son, a soldier at JBLM had a package sent via usps get sent back because of a missing pmb, they never even tried to give the UPS Store the package just sent it back for insufficient address. Thankfully Stephanie was able to provide me with a better address to avoid any usps issues. Her professionalism in dealing with our soldiers speaks volumes compared to usps employees who offered no help or reasoning for lack of delivery. read more

I went in here many months ago when a different person worked there and that person literally put her finger up when I walked in as she took an obviously personal phone call and ignored me. When I saw that there were new people, I tried it again and the environment was 180 degrees opposite. They are always going above and beyond to help people. Also, I sell clothes online and have decided that the USPS is a complete waste of my time and money.
