For MANY years I have gone here and sent packages to my family all over the country. For all these years I would have always given them a 5 Star Plus Rating (if that were possible). They have always been most helpful, and knowledgeable. I recently retired a little under a year ago under complicated circumstances. My house was involved in a fire that started in the twin house that is attached to mine. The fire extended to my roof and also to the one room that was next to the room on the neighbor's side where the fire started, and I had smoke damage. Consequently, I had to retire to find the time to pack up all my possessions for storage while I was moved to temporary housing during the renovation. I retired from a Federal government job at the time DOGE was massively cutting staff and services throughout my agency and also at the Social Security Administration. Many employees were forced out at the same time as me, and HR Staff and Social Security Staff all lost many employees. This combination of more leaving federal employment at a time that the staff needed to process the retirements was smaller than it had been in decades. The backlog got so bad that they are still processing our retirements. During this time, I started having to copy, print and fax a lot of documents for retirement and social security applications, and also for my insurance claim with permits, renovations, and temp housing. Consequently, I became a nuisance customer for the small, yet time consuming jobs of copying, printing, and faxing. However, I never felt like I had become a nuisance before yesterday. I have been returned to my home following a restoration that was at best partially done. My house was not inhabitable when I was quickly moved back after my insurance company said they weren't paying any longer for my temporary housing. There is MUCH unfinished work here and much that has been destroyed or gone missing with most of my possessions still stored in their storage facility that I have no idea of where it is. The Fire Restoration Company is not replying to me and neither is my adjuster. The insurance company says they paid the claim in full (but I never inspected or authorized the payment which was VERY HUGH!!!) Only a small fraction of the original work order was ever done. So the insurance company says my issue is with my adjuster who obtained payment under false pretenses and passed it directly along to the Restoration contractors without notifying me. Twp and other legal authorities say I am a victim of fraud and senior abuse (I am 75 years old.) They say this kind of scam, is unfortunately, now common. I was told to get help from elected representatives, anyway, I was there to make copies of the insurance company's detailed, lengthy proposal that specified what work was to be done so it could be compared against what was actually done and not done and done wrong etc. I never intended to be a burden. I would have waited as I normally do for the attendant to make the copies while I was in the store, but I thought I was taking pressure off of him to tell him I'd run another errand and them come back for them in an hour or so. Had they not been done when I came back, I would have either waited or come back according to what the attendant would have preferred. I am going through a crisis and I am elderly and it seemed the friendly and helpful attendant was being told by this other guy "Don't be so nice." This disappointing and somewhat shocking response threw me off balance because it was so out of character from the great service this store has offered for many, many years, but the worst part of it was there was a nasty woman across the street who lived in a first floor apartment there. Since there was no where to park on the street when I returned and I am handicapped. I use a walker when I have to do any walking. This walker is kept in the passenger seat of my car, next to me, but I use a cane for a short and quick walk. I attempted to park in this apartment parking lot directly across the street from the UPS store. I was only picking up done completed work & there were NO OTHER CARS in this parking lot that had eight parking spaces. This tenant came outside at 3:00 p.m. in a leopard nightgown and kept screaming at me, that "I was not allowed to park there. It was for tenants only." I explained to her, I would only be a minute to pick up completed copies, and I was handicapped and 75 years old, and I pointed out there were no spaces on the street. She said if I could drive, then I wasn't handicapped, and she was going to call the police & she took a picture (on her phone) of my handicap license plate. I ended up parking on the very end corner of the street where my car could've been clipped by someone turning on that corner. SADLY, THIS IS NOT A NICE PLACE ANYMORE. read more

Apparently UPS is not satisfied that I ship parcels to the west coast only 7 or 8 times per month. I am a solo person, NOT a business. lately they have been harassing me due to a lack of business from me. HOW RUDE. They continually e mail me to threaten to cancel my account. That's how you provide customer service? I am minding my own business, and you pester me continually. Is business that bad? Not my problem. why did I take this to yelp? Needed to send expensive, framed pictures from my recently deceased mother to Minnesota (where my sister lives). Matthew, Lily, and Benjamin were SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL! They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. They greeted everyone who walked in with a genuine smile and upbeat attitude. They worked hard to make a plan to send the pictures in a safe and affordable manner. Was really taken aback at how helpful they were. Smoothest operation you'll ever see. Been using this mailbox store for over 15 years and I've got to say, There's never an off day there. Every customers problem is efficiently swiftly and happily taken care of right away. Everyone seems to know the entire staff. I've seen people come right from shopping with bags & bags of presents, care packages, supplies & just throw them on the counter to be mailed. The staff takes complete responsibility for each item, pays attention to every detail & securely ships the messes to their destinations They even take the time to make sure it's all well put together in an organized manner. Been going here for years always with pleasant experiences, in fact I look forward to it. But this Saturday, I had a very unpleasant experience with an employee who made me feel so uncomfortable that I'm not sure I'll ever be walking in there again. I was annoyed because he let someone skip me for absolutely no reason (and was aware he was doing it) while all my stuff was labeled and ready to go. I happened to be holding a huge box; it was awkward and heavy, so all of that made zero sense. I didn't say anything about it, but he thought it was appropriate to then start verbally giving me a hard time because he didn't like the look on my face. I was waiting for my turn...there was no reason for any of that, but especially not the hard time he was giving me. He was extremely rude, he was aggressive, and he knew it. I'll tell you what I noticed that makes this location stand out from others I've been in the past. 1) Clean and organized. I can't tell you how many I've been in with packing worms all over the floors, half empty shelves always missing the box size I need, disheveled employees searching for something they misplaced...not here! 2)Service. For many years now back to when it was a mailboxes etc store this place has provided excellent service with a smile. When I have a big print job or my replacement ink cartridge has yet to arrive and I have a few pages to print I just E-mail them the job and boom, it's done fast and well for a reasonable price when you consider the cost of material, labor and overhead. They ship stuff and when you don't want to package it yourself too here is your go to right between the Subaru and the Chrysler dealers. read more

I had to return a package to Amazon and was told I could have UPS print the label for me. The parking at this location is a little confusing, I had to go past the building, down another two streets and then pull into the parking lot out back to get a parking space, but the man who helped me with the package was superrr helpful! I hardly had to wait in line. He took my package even though other people were in front of me in line. He quickly printed out the label and handed me a receipt, super simple!! :) read more

I only drop off pre-paid packages to be shipped (a few times per month). HOWEVER, the customer service here is phenomenal. Extremely friendly and efficient. One time I dropped off a package to ship only later to realize that I forgot to put something very critical inside. I called and the counter person was extremely awesome and located my package, and saved it from being shipped out that night! I feel confident that I can drop my packages off here and they will be treated with care and routed appropriately. Once you go to this UPS a few times, you get used to the weird confusing parking lot and entrance thing, and it's no longer a big deal. read more

I can't thank Ken enough for his help. I recently had to get five boxes of sentimental items packed and shipped. They were objects belonging to my mother who had just passed away. Ken was great. He said he would stay as late as necessary to get all the items packed that night for shipment the next morning. The customer service at the Jenkintown location is not what it use to be. My latest visit, I found it lacked in customer service. The male CSR on duty in the evening was sarcastic and condescending, and the female CSR was just as bad. After the last visit (third visit in one week), I decided to write a review. Yes, I'm reviewing a UPS store. Why? Because the man who helped me and my friend was so friendly and helpful I just couldn't believe it. I mean, when was the last time you had a pleasant experience with post office-related errands? Example: My friend had to send her tax return by certified mail, but the mailing address was a P.O. Box. The guy told her that certified letters had to be signed for, and actually searched for a "real" address at the same location that she could use. When he couldn't find anything, he gave her directions to the nearest post office should she want to send it to the PO Box via regular mail. He went out of his way to help us, and that kind of service doesn't come around that often these days. Also, he has pictures of his wife and kids blown up and taped to the front counter, which gives the store a comfy, personal feel. I had to ship a textbook back that is due next day. I walked in, and had forgotten my shipping label. They kindly showed me the computer where I could print it for $1 (awesome!). They were kind and helped me- I had to buy an envelope and tape the label on- they did everything for me- and the total was only $2.58 (including the $1 for printing!). My 4yo son was eyeing up the huge bubble wrap, and as I was explaining that we were not buying the bubble wrap- the nice gentleman gave him a piece and completely made his day (and mine!) The woman and man working were so kind and helpful, and made my hectic day so much better. Use this UPS store whenever you have to ship- they deserve your business! read more

Lily at the UPS Store in Jenkintown is the best! I was waiting for a delivery for over a month. The store kept saying it was out for delivery. I called UPS and Lily checked and said that the store hadn't sent it out. So I called back to the store, waited on line for a while, they checked it out - and she was right. I love this UPS location. First off, the parking situation is out of their control. It's not their fault the shopping center was built weird. Second, awesome customer service. Very friendly. I like that they chit-chat with me while helping me with whatever needs that brought me to the store. It can take a few minutes to package, track etc. and I hate akward silences so I definately apreciate the fact that they are super friendly at this location. It is a smaller UPS, I dont feel it's cluttered or cramped. Maybe because I am use to UPS's in manhattan or in philly that litterally are small and cramped. But really, what do people expect a shipping center to look like? I sure dont expect it to be all tidy like a doctors office. I was at the UPS Store in Jenkintown today. It was raining outside when I arrived and the man who works at the store came out to help me with some very heavy packages that I needed to ship. My time inside was quick, friendly and to the point, as it always is. The inside of the store looked great and well stocked. The two people who run the store have years of experience, are very efficient and are always more than willing to go out of their way to help me. I do a lot of my own shipping, so I rarely go into a shipping place; but I had a really, really fragile and tough to pack art piece that I just gave up on and let them do. I have to say that they did an absolutely superb job packing it -- much better than I would have done -- and did not charge nearly as much as I would have thought. Definitely recommended! read more

I am in here at least once a week and they are ALWAYS professional and even give advice on how to pack many of my items and have even GIVEN me packing supplies.
